Sarah Kossuch Photography

otos to remember our wedding by. Not only was the content amazing, the quality blew us away. Every photo is clear, beautifully composed, and tastefully edited. That is something that can only come with true talent and experience. The team was also very professional and helpful. They were assertive yet friendly when they needed to wrangle big groups, and they stayed in the background to capture the candids, which is exactly what I was hoping for! The end result was something truly special, and we couldn't be happier. Thank you Sarah and team!!

selecting a photographer. I must have reviewed over a dozen portfolios and nothing seemed quite right. When I came across Sarah’s, my eyes lit up as her work checked off every box I had. Great with indoor lighting, well composed live photography, natural portraiture, and (of course) phenomenal technical skills. She is a skilled and talented professional, as well as her teammates. Beautiful photography on such an important day was a high priority and Sarah did not disappoint. She has such a warm presence and made my husband, me, and our wedding party look and feel at ease. We have photos we will treasure forever, and highly recommend Sarah Kossuch and her team to everyone.

has always been on time, courteous and creative when working. She has a style that is unique as a story teller and wedding photojournalist and I definitely recommend her. I've watched her go above and beyond during the jobs we've worked together and I can't stress enough that you will be in good hands with Sarah.

they have turned out. Lindsey made us feel so comfortable through out the entire shoot and I think this was so important in capturing our true connection. These photos are absolutely everything I could have hoped for, I cannot wait to see what Sarah and Lindsey will capture at our wedding this September!

y would go smoothly! On my wedding day Sarah made myself and our entire wedding party feel so comfortable and we were able to just be ourselves! Sarah and Lindsey were so relaxed and and calm throughout the day and it really helped me to be able to let loose and just have fun trusting they were capturing all of the natural moments! We just received our photos this week and my husband and I could not stop smiling as we relived our day through the photos. They made our day look so beautiful and effortless, they were able to capture things I was not able to see myself like moments of my Grandma and other family members enjoying themselves! I can not thank Sarah and Lindsey enough for the pure talent they have. They captured my day like no one else could. We are forever grateful. -Olivia and John

y cared about. She was extremely difficult to work with and seemed more interested in enjoying the wedding food and festivities than her actual job. She was taking pictures of the dessert table when I had to go and find her to take pictures of the bride and groom. She took one family group photo of some of the guests and when one of the bridesmaids asked if she was taking the family pictures now that the bride requested, Sarah practically snarled "nope! Not at this time!" before storming off. She was hard to find and was visibly stressed out with the number of guests around. 100% would recommend not hiring.

me, I have 1 with my mother, my parents didn't get a single picture together, multiple family members that I asked to have pictures taken of were blown off, but hey, we have 13 pictures of our dessert table that include close ups of OREOS. The pictures of my husband and I are horrible... we are in a single pose for all of them, my back is to the camera, and his face is buried in my neck. The ONLY picture I have of my husband and I from our wedding that is worth framing, is the posed picture of us at the end of the aisle. I haven't been able to bring myself to look at my photos anymore because of how heartbroken I am over what I received from this "professional". When I confronted her about all that was lacking, she immediately defended herself by blaming the rain we had (even though there were plenty of breaks with sun), the number of guests, and the other wedding that was going on in the country club with us. She never apologized once for my dissatisfaction. Sarah and Lindsey ruined our wedding. Our memories are tainted with heartbreak. STAY FAR AWAY.

. After loving our engagement photos, we were very excited about our choice. On our wedding day, photos aren't necessarily the most fun because you just want to spend time with friends and family. She made everything smooth and easy. Her team was incredible and our wedding photos are AMAZING. Thanks, Sarah!

we went with Sarah and team. She documented our wedding September 2017 and our engagement photos the year earlier. All photos came out beautifully. Sarah really has an eye for capturing beautiful photographs. If you love documentary style photos, look no further because Sarah and team are wonderful. Not only did they capture all the wonderful moments, but they were so helpful with the flow of the day. Sarah's experience and expertise in photography and weddings was so helpful leading up to and the day of. I can't help but look back on all the stunning, silly, serious, and heartfelt photos with a smile plastered to my face. Thank you Sarah, Lindsay and Mike for making memories I will cherish for a lifetime.

da (lead photographer), Nicole (secondary photographer), and Sarah were amazing to work with. We just received our photos this week, and I kid you not- when I opened the album tears ran down my face because I felt the same emotions I had on our wedding day! These photo's were so incredible, and looking at them felt like we were reliving THE BEST DAY EVER! Thank you guys for being part of our special day, and helping us to be able to relive this day time and time again through your amazing work.

ng the lead photographer at our wedding in October at the Pine Knob Mansion. She brought Lindsey and Mike along with her on that day, and the three of them were a dream to work with. We had so much fun and they kept our day running smoothly. I never felt stressed or rushed, yet I totally feel like they captured everything we wanted them to and much, much more. We are so excited to see our full album in a few weeks, and I really hope we have an opportunity to utilize them again in the future! Thank you!!

was a fabulous listener for giving us what we wanted. She was able to capture all the details effortlessly and made everyone very relaxed. I enjoyed every moment of my wedding because I didn’t have to worry about what she was doing; I knew she was in her element! I now have forever keepsake photos to show her amazing work. Everyone that sees our pictures just “ooos and ahhhs” and then immediately asks who took our photos. I am SO proud to say the pics are from Sarah Kossuch and I recommend her to anyone for an unforgettable experience.

ords cannot express! ❤️

. I come across challenging vendors and they were a breath of fresh air. Thank you for being great the day of everyone appreciates it!

ery & venue we worked so hard to select. She made us feel relaxed and comfortable and coached us through any cases of 'awkward photo posing' we had. We are IN LOVE with our photos and IN LOVE with the memories from that day!

and Lindsey. SKP was very accommodating when we had to change our wedding date due to a venue issue. We feel so lucky to have landed Lindsey as a photographer, we were beyond impressed! For a young professional just out of school, she was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and creative. Everything about our wedding day experience with Lindsey was incredible. Her shots were very unique and she kept us laughing the entire time to make our photos look so natural. Also, big thanks to second-shooter, Nick. He was very good at working with the boys and keeping the atmosphere fun! Lastly, our images turned out to be gorgeous! My husband and I have never been so Instagram famous after posting some of the wedding photos. Thanks to SKP and especially Lindsey for contributing to a day we will never forget.

beyond thrilled with how they turned out. She helped us get comfortable in front of a camera and was clear in her directions. She knew of great spots in Detroit to shoot and we were really happy with how they came out. We used them for our save the date and our wedding website. We knew we were in good hands and were so excited for them to capture our big day. When we found out Amanda was pregnant and due around our wedding date, Sarah and her team made sure that we would have coverage on our day. What a relief! As a bride planning a wedding, photography is such a huge part of your day and the memories you will have to cherish forever. Sarah completely captured this and was incredible to work with. She stayed on our timeline, was flexible with last minute changes and most importantly-let us enjoy our wedding day! I would recommend Sarah Kossuch and her team to anyone I know getting married. Thank you for everything!! Lauren & Steven

hole process a lot easier, especially for a couple who feels very awkward getting their photos taken. Every picture they took that day was absolutely amazing, I can't thank them enough! Lindsey and her team made us all feel very comfortable on our wedding day and told us exactly what to do, which was perfect! We received our pictures recently and I can't stop looking at them! Every single one turned out better than we could have imagined. I would absolutely recommend Sarah Kossuch Photography to everyone, you will not be disappointed!!

tographed my wedding and it was beyond all of my hopes and dreams for my wedding photos. She made us feel relaxed and confident. She is extremely talented at capturing the little inbetween candid moments while also creating stunning portraits! These girls know their stuff and I was sooooo happy with everything they did on our big day!

the style of their photography. After sitting down with Amanda I knew that I had to have her shoot our wedding. Amanda made us feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot and on our wedding day. She is so kind and was so easy to be around it was like having a friend shoot our wedding. We have received nothing but the best compliments on our engagement photos and the sneak peaks of our wedding are to die for! I cannot say enough good things about the Sarah Kossuch team; they are so professional, kind, and do amazing work. I would highly recommend booking them for any of your photography needs, you will not be disappointed!

with our final photos, I still look at them every day. If you're going to splurge on one aspect of your wedding, I highly recommend it be the photographer. These photos are what you'll be looking at 50 years from now and Sarah and her team created precious keepsakes that we will cherish forever ❤️😍

. I got exactly what I was looking for in my wedding photos and more! They are perfect!

rough your vision. Kate + Steve

back all kinds of wonderful feelings :-) You were so wonderful to work with! I cannot thank you enough for all the work you did that day and all the work that went into creating the gallery. I always preach to my clients about the importance of professional portraits. You want photos that can be passed down for generations and generations, but seeing these images today, I actually imagined my own future kids looking at these and it made me so thankful I chose you to document this day. thank you a million times over! Hannah

ter results!

day- from the atmosphere of the different spaces we were in (getting ready at the hotel, the church, the museum, holiday nights, and lovett hall) to the special moments between Jon and I, plus the candid shots of our guests having a blast. We loved seeing different events from a few different perspectives- like the shots of the toasts at the reception from behind Jon and I- I'd never seen anything like it and we love how intimate and unique those photos of the toasts looked (and that's just one example!!!) I couldn't help but cry when I saw the photos of my dad and I walking down the aisle at church, having a moment with my mom exchanging the boutonniere and corsage, and dancing the daddy-daughter dance- it was so beautiful to see and experience these wonderful moments again. And I LOVE the photos with the bridal party walking down the brick path outside the museum- I've never seen such unique shots with a large bridal party. every photo looks so natural and artistic and were exactly what we were hoping for. you are so very talented and were so fun to work with. I hope we have the chance to work with you again :) thank you again for documenting our day. we absolutely love your work! :) xoxo, jill + jon

hing negative whatsoever. They were spunky and fun and creative the whole day, Sarah is passionate about what she does and is also incredibly talented!! I could not recommend her enough. My pictures were above and beyond beautiful. Oh and p.s. it RAINED HARDCORE during the outdoor ceremony, and she still came out with the most incredible pictures! So yeah, this is your photographer if you want amazing pictures and an amazing wedding day. <3

e the fairy godmother of photographers. She makes you feel like Cinderella and makes magic happen! She captures every single moment and detail. Her associate photographer Amanda was our second shooter and I squealed a little bit seeing her because her work is also amazing! Beautiful photos, awesome personality!

eting and it was comforting knowing that she would be photographing our wedding. Our engagement pictures were a nice way to spend time with her prior as well. After our wedding our pictures were delivered and we were absolutely floored! Thank you to the team at the studio group for making us feel so happy the entire time. I would highly recommend to anyone!

kward! I noticed Sarah's pictures looked much more natural. Amanda was our photographer and she did an AMAZING job. I loved the brightness and clarity of the photos and how beautiful all the candid shots were. I knew my husband would not want to do anything dramatic or very posed, so the engagement and wedding shoots were perfect.. lots of shots captured of us laughing and looking very natural! My family was floored when they saw the engagement shoot pictures. We took them outdoors in Washington and the setting was perfect! We had so much fun shooting it and Amanda's personality was perfect. Beyond the day itself, the pictures have been the most exciting part of this experience. Highly highly recommend them, I was told by so many people that our engagement and wedding pictures were the best they had ever seen! I pulled from other aspects of the wedding to pay for them and it was WELL WORTH IT!

s of wedding days like the first time the groom sees his bride walking down the isle and the first dance. We had an engagement session with Sarah in the freezing winter weather and the photos were amazing. So far, I've only seen the teasers from our wedding that she posted on Facebook but I am sure that I will like her work. She seemed excited all day to be taking our photos and capturing all of the wonderful emotions of our wedding day.

atural and beautiful. She was so wonderful to work with - personable and professional. We also received our images only a few weeks after our wedding! (Each image was captured so beautifully - it helped us relive the day! :)) I can't wait to find another reason to work with her!

them. That is exactly what Sarah and her team produced. Everyone was so friendly, professional, caring and understanding. Having Sarah as our photographer really left us at ease about our photos and we were able to enjoy our day and night knowing Sarah would catch every special moment that we wanted.

ping out! We just got to see our preview photos and I was blown away with how she captured us perfectly. I would highly recommend their work! Thank you Amanda and SKP!!

arah's website I was instantly in awe! I just had to book her! She is extremely professional (as was her second shooter and assistant) and they made my wedding day so fun and easy!! My favorite part of Sarah's work is that she captured all of the details of our day that I was not able to witness being the busy bride. The food, the table details, our family members expressions, the hugs, the tears, the laughs.. those are things that are absolutely priceless. When I reviewed our wedding images there were so many amazing moments captured and it was like experiencing my wedding day all over again! Plus, her turn around time for my images was extremely fast! I will cherish Sarah's work for the rest of my life! I cannot thank her enough!

at personality!! Very easy to work with, makes you feel super comfortable! Cant wait to use her again in the future. Kelly Lagarde
