Sarah la GLAM Makeup Artist & Hair Stylist

Everyone complimented my hair & makeup! Not only did I love my hair & makeup but my bridesmaids loved theirs too. Her team Is super talented. What is a super bonus is she doesn't charge a traveling fee on Oahu & I got married all the way at Turtle Bay. She also did airbrush makeup & fake eyelashes on all of us & doesn't charge extra for it. She also gives the bride a touch up kit which comes in handy during the day. Go with Sarah la glam & you're going to look gorgeous on your wedding day!

Sarah and her assistant did a fabulous job with my hair and makeup! I loved her techniques, especially making my eyelashes look really long, but still natural. Everyone said I was a beautiful bride and I owe it all to you, Sarah! Thank you!! :)

What can I say? She and her assistant turned up five minutes early, didn't get stressed that the flower girl hadn't arrived, got right to work, and finished early. Stress free all around. I also did a preview session, and my "tweaks" on her styling were listened to, and followed perfectly. I particularly liked that she managed to make me gorgeous, without looking like I was made up. The photos came out great.

I emailed a couple of vendors the week before my wedding date and everyone was booked. Sarah emailed me back with an opening and my first thought was if she wasnt booked then maybe she wasnt as good, but I thought wrong! She was great, she was very friendly, payment processing was simple, she was on time, and did a great job. I am very picky with my eyebrows and my make up, and since I was concerned, I paid extra for a trial run, let me just say it was a waste of money because the day of my wedding I was beautiful as ever all thanks to Sarah. I would highly recommend!

I was the matron of honor in my sister's wedding and booked all the vendors. I looked at many portfolios for hair and make-up and Sarah's was by far the best. I was ecstatic that she was available. She and her assistant arrived early and got started immediately. She was a pleasure to talk to and was able to make our vision of what we wanted for our hair come to life. All 3 of us loved our hair & make-up and got compliments from everyone at the wedding. Sarah even made enough time to help my mom get her fake-lashes on. I also loved that she gave the bride a touch up kit for later on. Thank you for making my sister's destination wedding her dream come true...it would not have been possible without you! Mahalo!

I am from Canada and getting married in Hawaii I was a little worried about finding someone for my hair and make-up, then I found Sarah through The Knot. I saw her portfolio and knew she was the one I wanted, all the others paled in comparison. Not only is she awesome at what she does, Have her and her team there was just like hanging out with girls ! it was fun!!! SHe did an INCREDIBLE job, I have never looked so beautiful in my entire life!!! My bridesmaids looked amazing!!! I would recommend her to ANYONE getting married in Hawaii !!!!!!!!

Sarah is funny, sweet and great to work with. She gave me cheek bones where there are none! My eyelash extensions were so amazing that I'm now sticking them on all the time. I looked like a movie star on my wedding day and the airbrushed make-up held up all night even in the heat. I had a small fear that it might be too thick and cakey but I didn't need to worry, it looked totally amazing and made me a feel like a million $$. My husband couldn't take his eyes off of me the whole day! Sarah also did my hair for me in a vintage style up-do. it was comfortable and held in with not too many pins. I kept it that way for the whole of the next day because it was just too pretty to wash out. If you want a fantastic look for your wedding then hire Sarah la Glam.

Sarah and her team (Heather and Kim) were simply wonderful. They took care of four of us in about two hours in my mom's miserably hot rental (I'm sorry it was so stuffy, guys!). Even with my MIL's last-minute announcement that she was allergic to mica, everyone was taken care of and looked beautiful. Sarah did exactly what I wanted with my hair, and I'm not narcissistic by nature, but she make me look gorgeous. :) I definitely recommend Sarah la GLAM!

I absolutely loved working with Sarah la Glam and her amazing team!! I chose to have a destination wedding on Oahu and did a lot of research on different vendors and read many reviews and NONE of the hair and makeup artist reviews were as good as the one's that Sarah had received (which I immediately sent an email requesting her service on my big day-I had to have her do our hair and makeup). She was very organized and always prompt to respond to any email or question I had. The whole process went very smoothly. Her team was very flexible and came to an offsite location to do my bridal hair and makeup as well as my bridesmaids. They provided an ipad of images and hairstyles to look at which was very helpful in showing what kind of hair style each lady in my bridal party was looking for. Her products are top of the line quality and each stylist also working for her were very professional and did exceptional work. They gave options for makeup combinations, etc that suited to each bridesmaid skin, coloring, hair color, eyes etc. The bridal party and myself got so many complements on how stunning we all looked. I would totally recommend Sarah and her team to any bride looking to have her hair and makeup done. You will look AMAZING and feel great on your big day!!!

Sarah was exceptional both during the trial and on the wedding day! I contacted and booked her from abroad, and she was a true professional from day one, always responding to emails right away and providing feedback on the looks that I sent her before coming in. She really listened and the final outcome was fantastic: Both hair and make-up was very natural, and yet accentuated. She's very talented. I felt like a very beautiful me, but still very much myself, on the big day. The best part was that she really kept me calm before the ceremony, with her easy way. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't hesitate to book and would recommend her at any time. All the best Sarah!

I have used Sarah's services twice: once for an engagement session and again for my trash the dress session. Unfortunately, I had already booked another vendor for my wedding day. But had I done more research (which I regret not doing) I would totally have booked Sarah for the day of my wedding. Sarah is absolutely outstanding when it comes to hair and makeup. She is quick, meticulous, and really cares about doing a great job. I love her work! She kept me looking like ME but... with makeup! And Sarah is such a wonderful and sweet person. She is also excellent with communication (she always responds to her emails within a day or two). Her services are also an excellent value. Whereas other hair and makeup artists would charge you extra for hair extensions or false eyelashes, Sarah doesn't! GREAT GREAT VALUE. I HIGHLY recommend Sarah and if I could use her services for every special occasion, I WOULD!
