beyond thrilled. She was so good at keeping everyone organized on the day of, was easy to work with, took over 8000 photos, and painstakingly edited over 2500 photos for us that captured our genuine love for each other, our families, and our friends perfectly. Both my new husband and I are generally not great in front of a camera, but Sarah and Adam put us at ease and took every small minute during the day to catch a special moment. Not a minute was wasted! They were even great working with my dog. The photos we got back included both portraits and in-real-life action moments captured beautifully. They really used light and shadows to their advantage, had wonderful close-ups, and framed our photos from different angles to give us our pick of favorites. Sarah goes over with you exactly what you want prior to the day and on the day of as well to make sure she gets everything that is important to you. When a snaffu meant that we couldn’t have a sparkler send-off she even came up with the brilliant idea for guests to use their phones to get some great send-off shots. My sister is getting married next year and we had such a great experience working with Sarah and Adam that she’s now taking them on for her own wedding. That in itself should say a lot!

Sarah demonstrated her expertise starting with our first phone conversation, where she took the time to get to know us, our story, and our vision. She also took the time to research our venue BEFORE we even signed a contract, and she explained how she could capture our vision there. After we officially chose Sarah, she kept in contact with us as needed and sent us a detailed (but not overwhelming) questionnaire about important photos, our plan, and more. She then used that questionnaire to create a day-of-timeline. The day-of-timeline was not only clear and comprehensive, but it was also visually pleasing, and I was proud to hand out copies of it to our wedding party. On the day of, we were running a bit behind (in reality, a lot behind), and I was very stressed. Sarah adjusted seamlessly and worked on the fly to make sure we got all of our photos. Likewise, she was very reassuring and kind when I started to panic a little about people not being where they were supposed to be for pictures. Our reception day was also very, very humid. Yet, Sarah still took tons of outdoor photos and somehow helped keep my hair in place and my dress from getting too sweaty or dirty (many times, she even held my decently heavy dress for me while I shuffled across the grass). Sarah also stayed past her contracted time to take photos of people dancing even though we were the reason that things were behind schedule. We never asked her to do that, but she still went above and beyond for us! Finally, Sarah told us she would send us sneak peeks a few days following the reception... But somehow, she sent us numerous beautiful photos less than 24 hours after the reception that we were able to share with our friends and family right away! In sum, Sarah has an incredible eye for beautifully capturing important moments, she has impeccable attention to detail, she is kind and reassuring, and she is an overall true professional!
