We loved her style from the beginning, and my husband didn't want to consider any other photographer. Our engagement pictures were good, but we are in love with our wedding pictures. They are truly gorgeous keepsakes and we are so grateful for them - and we got our pictures back less than two months after our wedding! Sarah was so easy to work with and made us feel very comfortable throughout the entire process. I know she books up fast, so seriously don't hesitate - you won't be disappointed. From there, we booked Sarah but she also helped me find hair and make up, calligraphy, flowers, baked goods, a videographer...the list goes on at how she was able to piece together people she knew and could recommend to help me. I was literally at a loss, drowning under reviews and recommendations; pinterest boards and budgets. Sarah helped me in a way she didn't have to at all in the months leading up to the wedding. The day of the wedding she was calm, professional and cooperative. Not to mention the pictures are just unbelievable. Everyone has said they look fresh out of a magazine! She got the most incredible shots which we will have forever. I think price wise, it was fair and she is definitely worth the money. want on canvas in the future when they are all perfect. Sarah has an eye for detail; our reception was in an art gallery so the decor was very unique. She captured all of the tiny details and (many more!) for our wedding day in addition to the venue itself. The months leading up to the wedding, Sarah wanted to meet up with my husband and I for coffee to discuss details of our big day. It was great to get to know her a little bit instead of a stranger coming in on your wedding day. She checked in often the weeks and days leading up to the big day to see if we had any questions for her. Sarah was a pleasure to work with the entire planning process and a blast on the wedding day! I would highly recommend her to other brides! If we were to do it all over again, we wouldn't change a thing!

her over the course of our engagement. We had the pleasure of working with Sarah for our engagement photos, my bridal portraits and our big day. A few things we loved about Sarah…first, she was open to our ideas (including taking engagement pics with our two dogs), but she did everything with her special twist. Second, my fiancé and I were a bit nervous and awkward when we first got in front of the camera, but Sarah put us at ease and gave us all the direction we needed to produce some beautiful portraits. Third, Sarah is quick and efficient during the shoots as well as during her editing process. I was so surprised at how much she captured in just an hour session for my bridal portraits, and she turned around the edited images in about a week! Fourth, Sarah has an eye for details. Trust me, you want a photographer who notices and captures the details. Finally, Sarah has a sweet personality but is also extremely professional, and was able to manage and direct our huge wedding party and family on the wedding day. Overall, it was important for us to select a photographer with an artistic style who would capture the special moments of our big day in a natural, journalistic way. We knew the wedding day would pass with the blink of an eye, so we wanted a photographer who would tell our story in detail. Sarah did just that – she was able to capture all of the joy, love and beauty of our day and the finish product is a journal of images that we will cherish forever.

Before the wedding she frequently contacted us to ensure she understood our needs and special request. During the wedding, she took care of all my detail picture requests and yes they turned out beautiful. I love working with her and love her personality!

rent photographers I stumbled upon Sarah's site through her ad on a wedding blog. We were instantly sold! Her photographs are amazing and her colors and angles were perfect for us. Sarah shot our engagement photos which turned out to be super cute-we even printed a few on canvasses. She did a great job at our wedding (ceremony + reception). All the shots were incredible-the mood and spirit of the event were captured perfectly and everyone loved the photos! Sarah and Erika (her 2nd shooter) did a fantastic job and we can't wait to tell our engaged friends about her.

wedding planning process as choosing a bad photographer can ruin your memories to the biggest day of your life (no pressure, ha). Sarah put us at ease with her amazing talent and professionalism from start to finish of working with her. From the first meeting, she was organized and professional. Her website is user friendly and has a lovely design that draws you in immediately. Even her contract had some subtle humor in the wording was just another breath of fresh air in the planning process. Her pictures of this romanticism that is unmatched in the Houston area for sure. The "look" of her photography was the exact feel I wanted to my wedding, and I couldn't be happier with the pictures. During our engagement session (which I highly suggest couples do so your comfortable with her and know how she works), she had a vision and was determined to find us creative shots. She makes you feel comfortable and at ease during the shoot which can be awkward for a lot of couples. I love how her pictures didn't turn out super posey, which I wasn't a fan of with other photographers. She gets the sneak peeks up quickly and it's nice that you don't have to wait long to see the teasers. Additionally, any time I emailed her or called her she had wonderful communication. She answers promptly and is ready with the details you need. On the wedding day, she's in control, but eerily calm (which what bride wouldn't love that). She's in charge and has a system without being pushy and still having that cute spirit about her. She gets the group bridal shots done quickly and efficiently so you can get into the reception for the good time. She stays in the background throughout the whole reception yet captures these great shots without getting in the way. I would've liked to see her more since she's so fun to be around, but she's so smooth and effortless. :) I seriously cannot say enough good things about working with her. She's beyond talented and I would tell any bride to go with her because she will be one vendor who you can count on and know you'll get what you pay for! Thanks so much Sarah, you rocked it. :)

She gave my husband and I the personal photos with the vintage flair that we had asked for and we can not thank her enough :) We definitely recommend her to anyone who wants beautiful, better than "average wedding day" photos.
