Sarah did an excellent job on my wedding make up! She was punctual, quick to respond to all e-mails and texts. She was very flexible to my requests. The make up turned out exactly like I hoped. I have textured skin and it was very important to me to conceal my acne scars, Sarah did a wonderful job doing that. The make up lasted the whole event. Sarah is a true professional at her craft.

Hi! My name is Sarah Michelle!
I have been doing hair and makeup for over 12 years. I started my career in California at Vidal Sassoon Academy and trained in makeup at Chroma Makeup Studio in Beverly Hills. Since then, salon work has taken me to Toronto Canada, Sydney Australia, and most recently back to LA where I worked in high end events. I worked for Netflix glamming talent and executives for red carpet events like the Oscars and Golden Globes. I love helping someone feel beautiful for a big event. I have now channeled that electric energy into glamming for weddings and I love it!

Sarah Michelle Artistry is just SO GOOD. Sarah is one of those people who somehow has both the incredible talent and the personality you actually want around you on one of the bigg...
est days of your life.
I’ve worked in the Utah wedding industry for a long time, and I cannot overstate how much the people surrounding you on a wedding day matter. Sarah brings this beautiful, calm, fun energy while also being an absolute wizard with hair and makeup. Her work is polished and elevated without making someone look like a completely different person. It’s that perfect “holy crap, I look AMAZING” while still looking like YOU.
If you’re searching for a Utah wedding hair and makeup artist, bridal HMUA in Salt Lake City or Park City, natural bridal makeup, timeless wedding hair, or luxury bridal beauty services, Sarah Michelle Artistry should absolutely be on your list. Her work photographs beautifully, feels modern without being trendy, and she genuinely cares about the person sitting in her chair.
But truly, beyond the hair and makeup, Sarah is just wonderful. She makes people feel comfortable, celebrated and beautiful—and THAT matters. I absolutely adore her and would recommend her again and again to Utah brides, wedding planners, photographers, venues, and anyone looking for exceptional professional hair and makeup.
Sarah, you are magic. 🤍

e nervous going into it, but Sarah completely blew me away. She took my inspiration and brought it to life in a way that was even better than I could have imagined.
I have genuinely never felt more beautiful or confident in my life. But what I loved most was that I still felt like me — just the absolute best version of myself. She understood exactly what I wanted and made me feel so comfortable, beautiful, and confident throughout my entire wedding week.
Sarah, I love you!!! Thank you for being such a huge part of making my wedding day so special. I’m so grateful I found you and truly hope we get to reconnect again soon. XO!

stments without hesitation, and really listened.
I went with a smoky eye for the big day, and Sarah nailed it. She kept everything calm and on schedule, and made the whole process so relaxed. My makeup looked flawless from the ceremony through the last dance — it didn’t budge through happy tears, a few hugs, and hours of dancing. Looking back at the photos, I’m so glad I trusted her with this. She made me feel like the best version of myself on the most important day of my life.
If you’re getting married and searching for someone talented, professional, and genuinely lovely to be around while you’re already a little stressed — book Sarah. Worth every penny.

al, she literally flew in overnight from Europe just to make the date work—that alone says everything about her commitment and professionalism.
From the moment we sat down together, it felt less like an appointment and more like catching up with an old friend. She has such a calming, grounding presence, which is exactly the energy you want on your wedding day. She instantly put me at ease, listened to everything I wanted, and somehow made the whole experience fun, relaxed, and stress-free.
On the wedding day, Sarah brought together an incredible team of four equally talented professionals. Every single person felt confident, beautiful, and genuinely happy with how their hair and makeup turned out—not one complaint, not one touch-up meltdown. If you’ve been in as many weddings as I have, you know how unheard-of that is.
Sarah doesn’t just deliver stunning results—she creates an experience, surrounds herself with top-tier talent, and makes sure everyone feels their absolute best.

o talk to and made the whole experience stress free and fun. For our wedding day, she brought two colleagues with her to do the hair and makeup of my bridesmaids while she paid extra special attention to myself as the bride, my mother, and mother-in-law. Everyone looked absolutely gorgeous during the wedding, and personally, I have never felt more beautiful. She had me ready for a first look with my father and then did touch-ups right before walking down the aisle for the ceremony. Extra kudos for her hair styling that stayed put despite a first dance that required spins, dips, and even some head-banging. I feel like Sarah went above and beyond to make me feel confident and special. I would 1000% recommend her to anyone needing hair and/or makeup for an event!

Sarah was such a godsend throughout the entire process. I had a terrible experience with a different HMU that I ended up cancelling with, and booked Sarah very last minute. She was...
so flexible and accommodating to fit in a trial in with such short notice. The trial was so fun, she listened to all of my concerns and put together a look that was absolutely stunning. There was some contouring I didn’t love and Sarah welcomed feedback and made the minor adjustments for an overall perfect look for my trial. On the day of, she absolutely nailed the classic, natural look I was going for. I feel like my best features were highlighted, and felt so pretty. She also did makeup on all of my bridesmaids and made everyone so beautiful. She used incredibly high quality products and brought out everyone’s natural beauty in ways I didn’t even know we’re possible. I had so many compliments on my makeup and I’ve never felt more beautiful. I had an extremely stressful wedding planning process with complex family dynamics and so beyond her raw talent and skills with makeup, her comforting presence and encouragement and kindness made booking Sarah so so worth it.

I have hired Sarah many times to do both my hair and makeup for events but this particular event she went above and beyond. The bride had a last minute situation with her original ...
makeup artist and was in need of an artist who could do exactly what she and her bridesmaids wanted in a short time period. Thankfully, Sarah was somewhat available that day because she had already planned to do my hair and makeup as a guest of the wedding. Sarah not only did an absolutely stunning job on the bride and her besties, she still stayed true to her agreement to make me a masterpiece as well and boy did she! I felt so beautiful and it was the exact look that I was going for. I cannot recommend her enough for all of your event/wedding needs!

Sarah was such a gem. She instantly makes you feel like you are friends for years. I was getting married and I’m not big on makeup and felt like this was my opportunity to have the...
beautiful, long, voluminous hair I dreamed of. Sarah delivered! We did a trial run (definitely suggest this) and my only concern was my foundation looking heavy. Sarah listened and she went lighter on the foundation, but she makes you feel comfortable enough to voice what you’re looking for. I showed Sarah a picture of what I wanted for my hair and she did exactly that. I felt so beautiful and that’s all you want for your wedding day. Work with Sarah!

t. As a bonus, she made my hairline look full for photos by filling it in. Grooms need grooming too, and Sarah is a great hairstylist for both bridge and groom.
