Sarah photographed our wedding in August on Cape Cod. She was absolutely incredible. From the very first phone call with Sarah I knew she was the photographer for us. I felt such a comfort level with Sarah from our very first phone call. We had several additional phone calls leading up to the wedding. Sarah was very thorough and paid attention to all the details. She was incredible on our wedding day. She has such a great personality and was so fun to be around. She was also very efficient with getting all the shots done that we wanted. Sarah sent us some sneak peaks a few days after the wedding and then we got the full gallery about 2 months after the wedding. The photos came out absolutely beautiful. I am so impressed with Sarah Murray Photography from start to finish throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend her.

I can’t say enough nice things about Sarah, she is professional, kind, and truly an unbelievable photographer! She will literally bend over backwards to make sure you get the perfect photo (literally she climbed into a bush in a hurricane to get the perfect shot)! Sarah Murray was incredible and such a delight to worth with. She was super flexible and supportive when we had to reschedule our wedding. The day of our wedding she was so attentive and made sure we stayed on schedule throughout the day/night. We also decided to last minute add an extra hour, and it was no problem. We got married in a very small chapel but Sarah and her team maneuvered flawlessly making sure they kept a low profile throughout the ceremony to not distract guests, while capturing the most beautiful shots. The weather that day was overcast and the lighting was beautiful for all of our portraits. We are forever grateful.

My husband and I hired Sarah for our engagement pictures last year and also for our wedding this past July. We both tend to be shy until we get to know people… but Sarah’s fun, high energy pulled us out of our shells immediately when we first met her for our engagement shoot— and so she was able to capture our true selves, our personalities evident in every photo. We couldn’t wait to work with her again for our wedding. In preparation, we had many emails and phone calls about what style of photos I was looking for. She also helped me plan out the timeline of our wedding specifically so that we would be able to escape during dinner for some golden hour pictures, as I had told her that that type of glowly lighting was what I was wanting in our portraits! When the evening ended up clouding over and blocking that golden glow, I have to admit I was worried about how much I would like the pictures. However, when we received our online gallery 2 months later, I couldn’t have been happier with our pictures! Sarah managed to use the little evening light that we did have to still capture absolutely beautiful shots. She clearly understood what I was looking for from all of our conversations over the past year… and she nailed it!!! Both of our parents and our entire bridal party loved her as well. She went above and beyond in so many ways, including waving around a gummy worm as a reward to get our overtired little ring bearer to smile (she got the shot)! There were also so many candid photos (sweet, funny, emotional, you name it) in our gallery that we had no idea were being captured on the actual day. My husband and I could not have been happier with our experience with Sarah, and we cannot recommend her enough!!!

Not only is Sarah an amazing wedding photographer, she’s such a fun and caring person. She made everyone feel so comfortable getting their photos taken and she was SO helpful (detangled my tornado veil, bustled my gown, helped clean sand off my feet – truly the Jill-of-all-trades!). Sarah Murray was the perfect photographer my husband and I could have picked for our cape cod wedding . She was so kind , responsive and amazingly talented . We could not be happier with Sarah's photography! We hired Sarah for an engagement photo shoot. She responded quickly, was helpful in finding a date, time, and location, and was easy to plan with. The week of the shoot, she called us and went over all the details: the weather, the exact timing so we could hit sunset perfectly, what to expect, suggestions on what to wear, and advice for props to bring. When we actually met for the photoshoot, Sarah was incredibly warm and kind. We thought it would be awkward to pose romantically in front of someone else, but Sarah put us at ease immediately. She was easy-going and made the whole experience fun, laughing with us and cracking jokes even as she took the photos. We had a lot of fun with it! She seamlessly and expertly switched lenses and directed us to new spots all while somehow capturing candid moments of us together. She knew the location well, and she was clearly skilled at navigating the light and the wind to get the shots she envisioned. After the photo shoot, she posted some "sneak peaks" on instagram, which were so fun to see! Then we got a full gallery of photos from the day that we could download, share with friends, and order prints from. The photos are breathtakingly beautiful, with a glow-y sunset and the beach grasses framing us in a really artful way. They are not "stock photos" of holding hands or kissing -- they have real energy in them, and they feel organic. We are thrilled with the results. I highly recommend working with Sarah! The ONLY reason we are not hiring her for our full wedding photography is that we are getting married out of town. Otherwise, we had such a great experience with the engagement shoot that we definitely would have!

THE BEST!! Sarah photographed one of my best friends weddings back in 2019 and I decided then that whenever I got married she was the one I wanted! When we got engaged last year she was the first vendor we inquired with and the second she was available we booked her! My husband and I took our engagement pictures with her and she made us both feel so comfortable. She was able to help us have fun and capture unbelievable shots in the 95 degree 100% humidity weather. Sarah took multiple calls with me and walked through all the details of the day. On the day of Sarah was amazing. Everyone raved about her! Our parents and bridal party could not stop commenting on how great she was at handling all the millions of photos we had requested all the while being so fun to have there with us! She can make any weather look stunning. My friends wedding was during a nor'easter and they are some of the prettiest wedding photos I have ever seen! Our day was a bit chilly and very windy on the beach and the sneak peaks are INCREDIBLE. She was so fun to work with and we are so glad we hired her!! AMAZING!! For such an important day, you want Sarah by your side. Her photography is perfection and she is just an amazing person. She made us feel so comfortable when taking pictures (something we were a bit awkward with at first) and made us laugh and enjoy the process. If you are getting married in Cape Cod, no, getting married anywhere, you NEED Sarah as your photographer. My husband and I cannot more highly recommend her. From the beginning, in our initial discussions in 2019, she was kind, patient, and organized. When the pandemic first hit, she reached out multiple times, asking how we were doing, truly caring about us as a couple and asking how she could help support us as we postponed our wedding party several times. We ended up having a micro ceremony in 2020 last minute outside, and she captured the day so beautifully, and we have an album where we are obsessed with every single photo. She has this masterful eye that is able to capture not only moments, but the essence of people – the joy and happiness in these whirlwind days. We also asked Sarah to be our photographer in our postponed October 2021 party and again, she was a dream to work with. From phone calls to emails, she was on top of every detail leading up to the party. On our wedding day, she felt like my good friend, making sure people were giving me water or a bite to eat between group photos. She truly had my back. So many of our guests also commented on how good she was, orchestrating the group photos, and how nice she was. She gave us a few sneak peak photos within 24 hours and I still do not understand how she did that so quickly. The photos were perfection and my husband and I got emotional looking at them. Sarah is without a doubt the person you want as your photographer at your wedding and any future event. She is incredible at her craft and as a person, and we are lucky to be able to now call her our friend.

There are no words for Sarah Murray -- we were so blessed to have found her to photograph us and our families during our Wedding Take II -- Covid 19 Edition! We called Sarah frantically as our early June summer wedding dreams unraveled and we planned for a smaller celebration on cape cod on August 16th. Sarah was hands down, without a question, our best and most organized vendor -- she spent so much time with us leading up to our big day, helping us hash out everything from small details (how do we ensure that we get beautiful pre-sweaty dancing photos while still getting time to enjoy our party) to big ones (how can we make the most of our time and our budget given all the details shots we wanted). She thought creatively and most importantly collaboratively during this planning process. Even more insane is that Sarah captured us during an absolutely wild gall storm at our beautiful venue (go figure!!!) and still somehow made it all so much fun, so romantic, so whimsical, and so special. She ran around sweating and soaking wet to get the shots we needed -- her ONLY priority was making us happy. We were absolutely blown away when we finally got to see our photos - as we told her this week, we laughed, cried, and smiled our way through the entire album and cant figure out how to pick the best ones to put in our wedding album. They are stunning and capture our love perfectly. Her style is effortless, romantic, glamorous, modern, and classic all wrapped in to one. I cannot recommend this person and professional enough. Amazing! Sarah captured our small Cape Cod Wedding during the corona virus. Sarah was so easy to talk to and made me feel at ease when changing my plans to a smaller covid friendly celebration. She has an amazing talent and every picture she takes looks like a piece of art. She was so much fun and made the day that much more special. When I started planning my wedding I created an instagram account just to follow photographers. I was instantly drawn to Sarah’s photos because they were so bright and everyone looked beautiful and happy. This was exactly was I was looking for and she was my top choice in vendors. When I finally reached out to Sarah to discuss my event I knew right away that I wanted to book her after talking on the phone. Sarah is very friendly, has a lot of experience, is well organized and quickly replies to emails. Also her recommendations were very straight forward and she didn’t try to sell me on any extra hours of photography that she didn’t think were necessary. She arrived just in time to capture the final shots of us getting ready and left shortly after we started dancing while still capturing a lot of fun on the dance floor. Personally, my husband and I hate taking photos, but Sarah made the process painless. On top of that, my wedding party is a difficult crew to wrangle up but Sarah did a great job making sure everyone got into place quickly so that portraits didn’t drag on too long and we could make it to cocktail hour in time. It was nice that when we were not taking portraits her presence was close but not overbearing. The day after the wedding Sarah sent a few photos of my husband and I already felt that I had gotten my money’s worth. I had seen a few photos that guests had taken and these outshone them tenfold. I couldn’t wait to see the rest of the pictures. The full set was delivered exactly when Sarah had promised and I was happier than I could have imagined. We loved working with her so much, we even asked her to photograph our rehearsal dinner so we could capture some additional candid moments with those closest to us (and outside of black tie attire). Sarah is a true professional! We did a photoshoot years ago as a family and I knew when it was time to get married, she was the first person I would go to! Sarah is not only professional, but extremely personable. From our first phone call, you can really tell she loves what she does and is genuinely excited about your big day. I had so many questions and changes throughout the wedding process and Sarah was so helpful and communitive the entire time! We had a short number of hours due to budget constrictions, and Sarah made it work perfectly for us along with her amazing assistant James. They arrived on time, and started right away making sure they captured every moment for us. She was calm, cool, and collected even when I wasn’t and moved the timeline along with ease! She also made sure before she left that we had everything we needed and was so attentive the whole wedding day. We received a preview of 5 photos less than a week after our wedding! The quality of work was nothing short of incredible, and we were blown away when we saw them! Sarah even made sure to surprise us with our gallery early December so we could have our Christmas cards out before the holiday! Sarah is the best! Not only did we love the pictures but Sarah and her team put us at ease throughout the entire wedding day. I didn't use a wedding planner but felt super confident going into the day mostly because of Sarah's expertise. Pretty early into the process we did a "walk through" of the schedule and it definitely made me think about a few things that I would have overlooked without her guidance.

We hired Sarah Murray for our wedding in Block Island on 9/28/19, and she blew us away with her work! Having an island wedding required a lot of planning and she made it so much easier by being so easy to reach, and so organized with her timing. She was incredibly professional and kind the entire time. We based the whole day around her suggested timeline and it went perfectly. She was able to capture great photos of our 20 personal bridal party, our 2 year old dog, and a group shot of our 200 person wedding.. and she made it look easy!
