We got married in a very small chapel but Sarah and her team maneuvered flawlessly making sure they kept a low profile throughout the ceremony to not distract guests, while capturing the most beautiful shots. h energy pulled us out of our shells immediately when we first met her for our engagement shoot— and so she was able to capture our true selves, our personalities evident in every photo. We couldn’t wait to work with her again for our wedding. In preparation, we had many emails and phone calls about what style of photos I was looking for. She also helped me plan out the timeline of our wedding specifically so that we would be able to escape during dinner for some golden hour pictures, as I had told her that that type of glowly lighting was what I was wanting in our portraits! When the evening ended up clouding over and blocking that golden glow, I have to admit I was worried about how much I would like the pictures. However, when we received our online gallery 2 months later, I couldn’t have been happier with our pictures! Sarah managed to use the little evening light that we did have to still capture absolutely beautiful shots. She clearly understood what I was looking for from all of our conversations over the past year… and she nailed it!!! Both of our parents and our entire bridal party loved her as well. She went above and beyond in so many ways, including waving around a gummy worm as a reward to get our overtired little ring bearer to smile (she got the shot)! There were also so many candid photos (sweet, funny, emotional, you name it) in our gallery that we had no idea were being captured on the actual day. My husband and I could not have been happier with our experience with Sarah, and we cannot recommend her enough!!!

The week of the shoot, she called us and went over all the details: the weather, the exact timing so we could hit sunset perfectly, what to expect, suggestions on what to wear, and advice for props to bring. When we actually met for the photoshoot, Sarah was incredibly warm and kind. We thought it would be awkward to pose romantically in front of someone else, but Sarah put us at ease immediately. She was easy-going and made the whole experience fun, laughing with us and cracking jokes even as she took the photos. We had a lot of fun with it! She seamlessly and expertly switched lenses and directed us to new spots all while somehow capturing candid moments of us together. She knew the location well, and she was clearly skilled at navigating the light and the wind to get the shots she envisioned. After the photo shoot, she posted some "sneak peaks" on instagram, which were so fun to see! Then we got a full gallery of photos from the day that we could download, share with friends, and order prints from. The photos are breathtakingly beautiful, with a glow-y sunset and the beach grasses framing us in a really artful way. They are not "stock photos" of holding hands or kissing -- they have real energy in them, and they feel organic. We are thrilled with the results. I highly recommend working with Sarah! The ONLY reason we are not hiring her for our full wedding photography is that we are getting married out of town. Otherwise, we had such a great experience with the engagement shoot that we definitely would have!

e was the first vendor we inquired with and the second she was available we booked her! My husband and I took our engagement pictures with her and she made us both feel so comfortable. She was able to help us have fun and capture unbelievable shots in the 95 degree 100% humidity weather. Sarah took multiple calls with me and walked through all the details of the day. Our parents and bridal party could not stop commenting on how great she was at handling all the millions of photos we had requested all the while being so fun to have there with us! our initial discussions in 2019, she was kind, patient, and organized. When the pandemic first hit, she reached out multiple times, asking how we were doing, truly caring about us as a couple and asking how she could help support us as we postponed our wedding party several times. We ended up having a micro ceremony in 2020 last minute outside, and she captured the day so beautifully, and we have an album where we are obsessed with every single photo. She has this masterful eye that is able to capture not only moments, but the essence of people – the joy and happiness in these whirlwind days. We also asked Sarah to be our photographer in our postponed October 2021 party and again, she was a dream to work with. From phone calls to emails, she was on top of every detail leading up to the party. On our wedding day, she felt like my good friend, making sure people were giving me water or a bite to eat between group photos. She truly had my back. So many of our guests also commented on how good she was, orchestrating the group photos, and how nice she was. She gave us a few sneak peak photos within 24 hours and I still do not understand how she did that so quickly. The photos were perfection and my husband and I got emotional looking at them. Sarah is without a doubt the person you want as your photographer at your wedding and any future event. She is incredible at her craft and as a person, and we are lucky to be able to now call her our friend.

Sarah was hands down, without a question, our best and most organized vendor -- she spent so much time with us leading up to our big day, helping us hash out everything from small details (how do we ensure that we get beautiful pre-sweaty dancing photos while still getting time to enjoy our party) to big ones (how can we make the most of our time and our budget given all the details shots we wanted). She thought creatively and most importantly collaboratively during this planning process. Even more insane is that Sarah captured us during an absolutely wild gall storm at our beautiful venue (go figure!!!) and still somehow made it all so much fun, so romantic, so whimsical, and so special. She ran around sweating and soaking wet to get the shots we needed -- her ONLY priority was making us happy. We were absolutely blown away when we finally got to see our photos - as we told her this week, we laughed, cried, and smiled our way through the entire album and cant figure out how to pick the best ones to put in our wedding album. They are stunning and capture our love perfectly. Her style is effortless, romantic, glamorous, modern, and classic all wrapped in to one. I cannot recommend this person and professional enough.
