alistic styles. We did our due diligence on finding the photographer who would capture our wedding day by exploring many different options for a wedding day photographer. From the very beginning inquiry with Sarah, she was extremely quick to respond. We set up a phone call with her and were really happy with her professionalism, organization, and patience in answering our questions. We were excited that we found someone who would capture our wedding day. We decided to go ahead and sign our wedding day contract as well as book an engagement session with her. When scheduling our engagement session, we were so pleased with Sarah’s flexibility with her time and decided to do a sunrise engagement session. This was one of our best decisions, from getting sunrise skyline photos at North Ave beach to fall foliage in Lincoln Park, the photos turned out incredible. Sarah’s knowledge of great spots to get photos was a huge plus! Sarah’s crazy fast turnaround time on these photos was amazing! Sarah was patient and personable, and let her creativity shine in the photos. We received so many compliments on these photos, and it made us even more excited to have her capture our wedding day. Throughout our wedding planning process, Sarah was there to answer our questions and assist with timeline planning, which helped us tremendously. We had a not-so-traditional timeline, having a brunch wedding and an evening boat cruise, and she so graciously agreed to work the entire day. We cannot stress enough how incredible it was to have a photographer who was so organized on our wedding day. We decided to have a second photographer for the first half of our day, and we were so happy that Sarah hired Renae as our second shooter. She was extremely professional and an excellent photographer, too! We completed our wedding day questionnaire for Sarah, and she really took what we wrote and made sure to capture what was important to us. Sarah made sure to have a list of the family portraits and group shots we wanted captured on our wedding day, which brought us comfort and relieved a lot of stress. Sarah made sure to have her equipment and lighting in the necessary places throughout the day. Sarah’s knowledge of navigating a city wedding, and knowing where to take photos was amazing! We did have a small break after our brunch wedding reception prior to the evening boat ride. We were SO EXCITED that Sarah took this break time to provide us with sneak sneak peek photos from the morning! Talk about a crazy turnaround time! And the photos were incredible! Sarah did an amazing job working with the challenging lighting situation on our evening boat cruise. She made sure to have the lighting she needed to be able to capture photos on the boat. With Sarah’s fast turnaround times, we shouldn’t have been so surprised to get another sneak peek of about 50 photos the day after our wedding, and they turned out amazing! We requested a small edit be made to a ribbon in two photos, and Sarah literally edited the photos and sent them back within an hour! Sarah once again amazed us by delivering our entire wedding day photo collection to us in just about 3 weeks from our wedding day! We are blown away once again by all of the photos we received. We also received our custom USB in a personalized keepsake box in the mail. This was a really nice touch. In case it isn’t clear yet, we would highly recommend Sarah Nader for engagement and wedding day photography!
