Sarah Peterson Photography

ss details. Our photography package included an engagement photoshoot in addition to wedding photography. The quality of the photos from both our engagement session and wedding day was outstanding. One of the highlights was receiving a few 'preview pictures' shortly after each shoot, allowing us to enjoy some beautiful moments right away. The pricing was transparent, and the payment portal was easy to use, making the financial aspects stress-free. Throughout the process, Sarah provided invaluable advice on shot lists and was incredibly easy to work with when it came to posing. If we had a specific idea or location in mind for a photo, she not only took the lead but also enhanced our vision beyond what we could have imagined. She also emailed us ideas and example photos for different locations for our engagement photoshoot, helping us make our vision a reality. On our wedding day, Sarah took many photos throughout our events, including getting ready in the bridal suite, first looks, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, speeches, and reception. She was excellent at directing our family members to ensure we got all our posed family photos. Sarah also took some beautiful shots of just us post-ceremony. Throughout the dinner and reception, we felt at ease and relaxed knowing Sarah was there capturing every moment. Beyond the professional aspects, our interactions with our photographer made us feel like we were working with a close friend. She always helped us to feel comfortable in front of the camera, despite us being introverted and inexperienced with being professionally photographed. Her support and encouragement throughout the planning process and on the day of the wedding were truly appreciated and added to the overall wonderful experience. We highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a talented and personable photographer for their special day.

uper quick to respond, flexible & her photos speak for themselves… stunning! I could not recommend her more! We also preserved our flowers with her and they turned out perfect & she added beautiful personal touches that made everything just that much better! Don’t hesitate to book her, you will not regret it!

our engagement photoshoot. Sarah made us feel so comfortable, walking us through poses and explaining everything. She is SO fun, and it honestly felt like hanging out with a good friend of ours. I vividly remember getting in the car with my wife after we first met Sarah in person at our engagement shoot, and we both immediately said that we felt like we’d known her forever! At our wedding, Sarah seriously went above and beyond with everything that she did for us. And, making sure that we were having fun, first and foremost. We received our photos so fast that it should be criminal. You can tell that Sarah genuinely cares for every couple that she works for, and it shines through in her photography. There isn’t a single photo that we received back that we weren’t absolutely in love with. Sarah captured photos of all of our loved ones, and captured the energy of our wedding flawlessly. er. During our engagement photoshoot, she scouted out a beautiful location at Golden Gate Park to give us the redwood setting we wanted, and she made us feel incredibly comfortable with taking photos, despite never having done so with a professional before. It wasn’t long before me and my husband were laughing and genuinely enjoying ourselves, and it showed in our pictures. It wasn’t awkward at all — not cliche or stiff or posed. It felt very…us. :) She delivered our pictures super fast. On Valentine’s Day, actually! Fast-forward to wedding day. She got there right on time and got some beautiful photos of us girls getting ready. She had given us a detailed shot list to fill out for the wedding, and she made sure we took all the pictures we had wanted. We honestly had the dream team of vendors and we we knew we were in good hands. It made the day so much more enjoyable, not having to worry. Sarah released our sneak peek pictures the NEXT DAY! Insanely fast. I cannot wait to see the full gallery!!! If you go with Sarah with your wedding, you’ll be set! 👌🏻 We have been recommending her to all our family and friends. Can’t thank her enough.

in front of the camera and has an amazing eye for capturing beautiful moments. She was a dream of a vendor to have and couldn’t recommend her more! The amount of compliments we get on our photos is out of this world. Her second shooter, Abby, is also thoughtful and experienced in capturing the small details throughout the day while my husband and I were busy doing the big moments. She also captured content for us on our wedding day and I was so grateful to have this service offered when working with Sarah. Thank you so much Sarah and Abby!

assistant Abby was also a great resource to get even more shots! The photos came out so beautiful and natural because her presence allowed the energy to be fun and light! I would highly recommend hiring Sarah as your wedding photographer! :)

s hitting your soul...Sarah is there to step in, make you smile and snap the most amazing shot you've ever seen! Her photography skills lack nothing but perfection! If you don't book her, you are only bringing misfortune upon yourself lol! No but really, her energy, not only around me but around my family, was everything I needed. She brought out smiles in my shy husband also. She is just relaxing to the rigid. I love the pictures she took that captured our love shared that day. The "in the moment" photos were so sweet and those that she "set up" were natural. We got married in SF City Hall and she knew that place like the back of her hand. She knew how to set us up to shoot efficiently, without feeling rushed. Her communication was quick and professional and she never made me feel like I was a bother. She helped me find hair/makeup and forals for the day also. Thank you Sarah. Thank you for being amazing. Honestly, she made my day! She made the moment! I can't thank her enough. She was just a joy to work with...I asked for a vibe and that's what I got!

cky enough to have her photograph us as a couple, then fiancé's and we knew we wanted her to shoot our wedding as well. She is committed to your vision and she thought of so many beautiful photo ideas that I didn't bring up, and those are some of our favorites. She is amazing and so many of our guests thought so too. We honestly feel so grateful to have had her not only shoot our wedding but be there to laugh and take in the moments with as well. Sarah is to notch and we cannot wait to continue to work with her in the future. Look no further, she is your girl!

during our photos. We would definitely hire Sarah again!

Sarah has the best creative eye, and energy and will make your entire experience nothing but fun. Sarah does an incredible job of helping coach and makes your photos feel natural. She is a GEM of a human and you will not regret having her capture your special moments. We can't wait to use Sarah for all our photos moving forward. She is incredible!

up on Mt. Tam was closed, she found us another site in minutes and it turned out incredible. She makes really good use of sunset light.

had to book her ASAP. Sarah is such a bright and fun presence. She brought the best energy to both our sunrise engagement shoot and our full wedding day when a hype woman is exactly what we needed. She is positive, confident, fun, and just plain GREAT at what she does! As for her photography, I’m sure that can speak for itself - it is truly gorgeous. She beautifully captures meaningful moments and the results are phenomenal. She got so many sweet candid and action shots that captures the emotions of the day so well. Finally, Sarah was always professional and great with communication. It helps that she is a genuinely kind person who wants your day to turn out perfectly! Seriously, you won’t go wrong with booking Sarah. 11/10 would choose her again in a heartbeat!

ally able to just be yourself! She has excellent communication, and turned our photos around so quickly. The quality is fantastic and she is such a joy to be around. We will definitely be using her in the future for family photos!

ied my 4 year old up stairs and through weeds to get the perfect picture. Her pictures truly captured the beauty and energy that I wanted to be reflected by the day. Do not even question it, just book her! You won’t regret it!!

ot only did she capture some stunning photos, but she also assisted in choosing the location of the photoshoot as we were having a difficult time finding what we were looking for, and she nailed it! I spent hours looking for photographers and scouring their portfolios. The struggle I was having, was I couldn't find a photographer whose photos had the type of artistic style I was looking for - then I stumbled upon Sarah. It was apparent, she had an eye for beauty in all things, not just the human subjects she was capturing, but rather all the elements surrounding her subjects. My fiancé and I felt incredibly comfortable and the whole photoshoot felt completely natural. Every picture turned out amazing, making it incredibly difficult to choose just one photo for our announcements... Which is a rare! My only regret is, we're eloping in New Zealand, and I can't bring her with me to capture our special day. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Sarah!

the shots that I was hoping for! As someone who usually is awkward in front of the camera, Sarah made me feel so comfortable and I was laughing with her the whole time. Sarah is an amazing photographer and person and I highly recommend her!

a beautiful way. HIGHLY recommend!!

utely every one of her clients feel understood and comfortable. She flew out to Washington to take our engagement photos at the Olympic National Park and the entire day was one of my favorite memories. Not to mention she sent me sneak peeks of the photos within a couple of hours - incredible editing skills and extremely fast service. I'm going to cherish these photos forever and we are SO excited to have her as our wedding photographer in June. Thank you for everything, Sarah!
