We LOVED having Sarah as our photographer for our wedding in Half Moon Bay. She was incredible to work with from the first meeting to engagement shoot to the big day. She made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera, kept it fun and was like hanging with a friend! We can’t stop looking at the photos and sharing with our people. She and 2nd shooter Snej captured the joy of the day, including sweet moments and details we might have missed. 1000% recommend Sarah!

Sarah Peterson is quite a magician when it comes to photography. I first found Sarah on Instagram and was almost shell-shocked at the quality of her work. And even better - she was local to me in California! I immediately told my husband (fiance at the time) that we needed to meet with her, and we are so glad we did! The entire planning process with Sarah was great, from our first meeting where we put together a vision of what we wanted our wedding photos to be, to the end result and our sneak peaks. Sarah was very communicative and listened to understand our perspectives. Her payment portal was professional and set up to allow for ease of payment. It was also great to follow along her social media and send her ideas before the event, which she was always down to try new things. Sarah's photography skills are unmatched. Her attention to detail, playful artistry, and exceptional shot list preparation was absolutely perfect for our wedding in Half Moon Bay. The day-of was seamless between her and her second-shooter. My husband and I were separated the full day, and amid the nerves when we did our first looks, Sarah directed the scene but never made us feel over-posed which was so nice. She corrected stances, fluffed dresses, and threw in come of her wonderful humor which made the experience all more memorable! We felt so comfortable in front of the camera, which is really amazing. She captured beautiful and intimate moments of our special day that we will forever be grateful for. She also delivered our sneak peaks insanely quick after the event, I think it was like a 24-hr wait! A photographer is a huge investment for a wedding or event, and we couldn't be more thankful for the results that Sarah gave us. She is a fantastic human who has such a creative eye and enjoyable presence, we can't recommend her enough! And we can't wait to work with her again on future photography projects :-)

Our experience with Sarah was absolutely fantastic. From the beginning, communication was smooth and effortless, with prompt responses to emails and even video conferences to discuss details. Our photography package included an engagement photoshoot in addition to wedding photography. The quality of the photos from both our engagement session and wedding day was outstanding. One of the highlights was receiving a few 'preview pictures' shortly after each shoot, allowing us to enjoy some beautiful moments right away. The pricing was transparent, and the payment portal was easy to use, making the financial aspects stress-free. Throughout the process, Sarah provided invaluable advice on shot lists and was incredibly easy to work with when it came to posing. If we had a specific idea or location in mind for a photo, she not only took the lead but also enhanced our vision beyond what we could have imagined. She also emailed us ideas and example photos for different locations for our engagement photoshoot, helping us make our vision a reality. On our wedding day, Sarah took many photos throughout our events, including getting ready in the bridal suite, first looks, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, speeches, and reception. She was excellent at directing our family members to ensure we got all our posed family photos. Sarah also took some beautiful shots of just us post-ceremony. Throughout the dinner and reception, we felt at ease and relaxed knowing Sarah was there capturing every moment. Beyond the professional aspects, our interactions with our photographer made us feel like we were working with a close friend. She always helped us to feel comfortable in front of the camera, despite us being introverted and inexperienced with being professionally photographed. Her support and encouragement throughout the planning process and on the day of the wedding were truly appreciated and added to the overall wonderful experience. We highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a talented and personable photographer for their special day.

I’m almost positive I already left a review but another doesn’t hurt because Sarah is beyond amazing. So easy to work with, she felt like an old friend from the beginning. She is super quick to respond, flexible & her photos speak for themselves… stunning! I could not recommend her more! We also preserved our flowers with her and they turned out perfect & she added beautiful personal touches that made everything just that much better! Don’t hesitate to book her, you will not regret it!
