WE LOVE SARAH SAGE!!! From our first meeting with Sarah, she showed us that she was there to help make our wedding day as special as possible. She was willing to walk with us through wedding planning. She was available to answer any questions that we had and provide her expert advice. The wedding day itself went so smoothly. Both her and her trusty second shooter Grace (aka G money) put us, our wedding party and families at ease. We definitely had a rowdy crew, but they leaned into the joy and chaos that was our wedding and made it so fun. Looking at our photos, we are so happy with how well she captured us. We spent so much time planning our ceremony, picking our colors and flowers, choosing our decorations and baking sweet treats. Sarah Sage was incredible to work with! From the start, she was extremely helpful, meeting with us to discuss our vision or suggesting a vendor. She helped articulate our vision and put together a day-of timeline. We also had an engagement shoot that allowed us to work together and it made us even more excited for the big day! I couldn't have made it through our wedding day without her. She was more than just a photographer, helping me put on my dress and my veil. And when there were a few timing hiccups, she kept us moving along and always had a plan. Besides saying “yes!”, booking Sarah was the easiest and BEST decision we made for our wedding! Before even meeting her, we were astounded by the beauty of her photos and even more importantly how REAL the couples looked. When we met Sarah over zoom, we knew it would be a great fit – she had us relaxed and giggling the entire time. She then sent us the cutest welcome packet filled with incredible timelines, sheets of things to think about (like what details to set aside the morning of, what family photos you might like), vendors that she has personally worked with, and to top that off she even sent a dog toy for our little guy, AJ!! Sarah went above and beyond with communication – something that was so critical since we were in Philadelphia during the entire planning process. Sarah was so flexible with us as we flew into South Bend for ONE day for our engagement session. Our engagement session was non-stop fun—even my husband was completely engaged and cracking jokes the entire session with Sarah and Grace. Sarah is incredibly creative and found the most scenic spots on the beach that was unusually crowded for a late September weekend. She was even willing to get in the water to capture “Vogue front-cover” caliber photos. And on our wedding day, Sarah proved to be our life saver time and time again. She typed up a timeline that fit onto the screens of our phones to keep us on track, exhibited leadership with organizing our rather large families for family photos, and saved the day by creating a new bustle for my dress after mine broke right before our first dance. And that was all in addition to capturing the most incredible, jaw-dropping photos. She even DOVE on the ground of the ballroom to get a shot of our dip during our first dance (and yes, I have video evidence of this determination and passion!) Your photographer is one of the most important decisions to make during the planning process—and I can guarantee you will not regret hiring Sarah! Sarah knows all the ins and outs of a Notre Dame wedding—she and Grace truly made our day stress free and so, so fun! Sarah is 100% the person you want by your side on your wedding day! Booking Sarah for our wedding was hands down the best decision we made. From our initial Zoom meeting, we knew it was going to be a great fit – she even added in cat toys in our welcome packet! My husband and I work crazy schedules and Sarah was so patient and willing to work with us and even make the trip down to Indianapolis for our engagement session. My husband was hesitant about the whole photo process, but he loved Sarah from our first meeting and she and Grace put us at ease and made the engagement session so fun! Sarah is definitely the person you want for your wedding. She knows the ins and outs of a Notre Dame wedding and was able to design the best timeline to fit in all of the pictures we knew we wanted for the day. More importantly, Sarah was a seamstress in another life and was able to sew me back into my dress and essentially sew a new bustle after an unfortunate football mishap. The only people you see more on your wedding day than your partner are your photographers, so this is one of the most important decisions you have to make. You will not regret hiring Sarah as your wedding photographer, she is that person you want by your side! We are lucky to come out of this with not only the most beautiful pictures, but beautiful friends as well. Sarah is the lady with the plan! Exceedingly experience but with so much grace when explaining details, timelines, sorting out issues and making sure our day is as special and unique as can be. She makes it easy to navigate and helped so much on our day she could get into wedding coordination! And the products! To die for! The best quality and service. Zero issues. She has excellent communication and is always available/ easy to get ahold of. She has a friendly personality and is seriously just the best.

We worked with Sarah for our 3/11/23 wedding, and we couldn’t have been happier that we chose her. From the very first time we met with Sarah in person (even before we committed to working with her), she greeted us with a hug and made us feel like family. She made an effort to get to know us both individually and as a couple in a way that other photographers did not, and we instantly knew she was the right fit. In the months leading up to our wedding, we met with Sarah to help her get a better idea of what we wanted to get out of our wedding day. Since it was a pretty chilly March day, the bridesmaids were reluctant to take many pictures outside, but Sarah ran a very tight ship, keeping everyone on schedule, and still getting tons of incredible pictures in a short amount of time. Sarah truly went above and beyond throughout the day and evening to capture priceless pictures. When it finally came time to see the images, we were absolutely blown away by how beautiful they were, and how perfectly we felt they captured our wedding day and marriage. Her talent shone through in the pictures by naturally posing us in a way that created incredible artistic effects. Overall, we couldn’t recommend Sarah more highly. Not only is she an incredibly gifted photographer, but she is such a fun, compassionate, and hard-working person. Working with Sarah was an absolute pleasure. She was incredibly organized and coordinated with our wedding planner, which made everything a breeze on the day of the wedding. Sarah’s planned schedule came with enough time built in to absorb an hour long delay with hair and makeup on the day of the wedding, which was a major relief to the entire bridal party. Sarah was very flexible and accommodating with meetings, which was amazing for us, since we were planning a wedding from 2 hours away. My wife and I were both a little nervous when we started our engagement shoot, thankfully Sarah is hilarious which made the awkward process of posing for photos a lot of fun. While searching for a photographer, Sarah’s work stood out amongst the rest. Sarah Sage will do whatever it takes to make sure you have the best wedding day possible! I say wedding day, but really Sarah makes her couples feel like superstars from the moment you book with her. From the start she gave us the star treatment. Sarah was also incredibly helpful in the planning process with reliable vendor references. She is so organized and professional but also very down to earth to make you feel comfortable when shooting. Sarah took our photo requests into account and made sure to get every single one! (and we had quite a few!) Of course, there is no such thing as perfection and mishaps can happen along the way, but if any issue arose, Sarah was so quick to resolve!! She quite literally bent over backward, sprinted a mile, and soaked in cold water in order to resolve issues and/or get the perfect shots! We had rain in the forecast for our wedding day and I had zero concerns about it because I knew Sarah would have it handled with cute umbrellas and knowing how to still get the best photos. After our July wedding, Sarah continues to be great to work with. She is so communicative and quick when delivering the previews and album. And again, if there were any issues, Sarah was quick to resolve! Jonathan and I are so happy with our album! Every photo is gorgeous!! A high quantity of photos with the highest of quality! We will absolutely work with her again in the future!

Me and my (now) husband hired Sarah Sage to photograph our engagement session and our April 2022 wedding and we were beyond happy with our experience with her! Not only is she extremely professional, punctual, and exceptionally gifted in her talent, but she also has a way of making you comfortable in front of the camera immediately. She has an outgoing personality and is able to make you feel confident and beautiful, no matter if you are an extroverted or introverted individual. Additionally, Sarah makes a point to get to know you and your partner as individuals before your big day so that she learns what means the most to you so that she can capture those moments that will last forever (for example: she made sure to capture my grandmother placing my family’s heirloom necklace on me when I was in my wedding dress as well as many other valuable moments she captured because she learned through conversation how much these would mean to us). Her second photographer, Grace, also exhibited these same qualities and produced amazing work for us as well! Truly, I cannot recommend working with Sarah enough. Not only will you get amazing photos that will allow to re-live your big day each time you look at them, but you will also extremely enjoy each minute you work with Sarah and her team. Where do I begin?! Sarah is just truly amazing as a person and photographer, there aren't enough words to say how grateful we are for Sarah and Micky. For our engagement shoot, we hit multiple spots that were special to us and then to St, Joseph, Michigan for a romantic beach sunset. It was relaxing, beautiful, and most of all FUN! The pictures are like no other and she really captured my husband and I in a way I didn’t know was possible. Sarah and Micky traveled all the way from Indiana where we are from, to Snowshoe, WV for our very intimate wedding. The day was SEAMLESS! With Sarah’s helpful planning, she helped build the timeline from start to finish. Her hard work and fun personality make you forget about any stresses you have about the special day or insecurities you have about yourself. Sarah Sage knocked it out of the park as our wedding photographer. From the beginning of the wedding planning process, Sarah was engaged and answered all of our questions. Sarah distinguishes herself from other photographers by her professionalism, tentativeness to detail, and passion. Our first experience working with Sarah was during our engagement shoot. Sarah calmed our nerves, and captured the afternoon perfectly. A few months before the wedding, Sarah was in contact with us regarding timeline and our vision for our wedding day. During the final weeks of planning we relied on Sarah to hold us accountable to our timeline – and she did! We greatly appreciated how organized Sarah was leading up to our wedding, and on the day itself. Sarah and her second shooter, Grace, went above and beyond on the wedding day. They helped transport flowers, and were cognizant of the heat. We cannot thank Sarah enough for playing such a large role in our wedding.

Sarah wasn’t our original photographer, but when we had to change our wedding date date our original photographer couldn’t do our new date, she immediately recommended Sarah and we couldn’t have been happier. She was incredibly friendly, communicative, and easy to work with. She made sure that we were clear on her process, but also wanted to make sure that we had the day that we had envisioned. She helped us come up with a schedule for the helped direct traffic for us day of, and most importantly, he pictures that she took were amazing. They captured our joy and the joy of our guests on our wedding day and they they were above and beyond our expectations. She was also very quick with getting us some preview shots as well as our entire digital album complete with a blogpost of the day to share with our friends and family. Sarah is in my opinion the best you can find. She is professional and a joy to be around. Our wedding was cancelled several times due to covid and Sarah was a constant with us and was right there by our side through everything. Sarah was our one and only choice and my wife and I cannot wait to spend more time with her. Sarah did amazing job photographing our wedding. Her skill and experience really show in the way she was able to perfectly capture flattering candid photos during special moments. When we were looking back through our pictures (which we got within two! weeks of the wedding) we felt transported right back to the moment that image was taken. In addition, Sarah was incredibly supportive and understanding when we had to reschedule our wedding twice and change venues. She also helped us schedule out the day (and then kept us all on that schedule) and offered advice and suggestions during the rehearsal. Sarah was such a lifesaver! She took amazing photos for us in freezing snow and sweltering heat without complaint, in fact she was extremely joyful. She made us feel comfortable and was a great source of calm on the day of the wedding. I felt extremely out of my element on the wedding weekend, but I knew I could trust her to take charge while also listening carefully to all of our wants/preferences.

Where to even begin? We could not be any happier that Sarah was a part of our big day and everything before (and everything after)! From the first time we spoke to Sarah, we knew immediately she was the gal for us. Sarah is always so professional, but also always fun! It's always a joy to be around her and it's hard to not want to smile the whole time, even if our cheeks hurt from smiling so much for pictures! She got ALL of our pictures back to us in ONE week...which is truly amazing! Even with the fast turn around, you can truly see the effort she put into editing every single image on both our engagement shoot and wedding day. The blog post she writes on all experiences really adds an extra sense of personal touch and shows that she makes the effort to get to know us while shooting. We are so happy that Sarah was with us on our wedding day! Sarah was an absolute dream to work with! We knew from our first meeting with her that she was going to be fantastic and she did not disappoint. The day of our much smaller intimate wedding Sarah was there capturing every detail like it was the big event we had planned. Sarah is amazing! Not only are her pictures fantastic, but she's incredibly fun and energetic to work with. We had a HUGE bridal party, and she was able to keep everyone in-line & be flexible when necessary. Choosing Sarah Sage as our wedding photographer was THE best decision my husband (Luke) and I made for our wedding. We loved her SO much that we each decided to write our own review 😊. Not only is she a very talented photographer, but she also truly cares about each and every one of her couples, which makes her different from any other vendor you will have on your wedding day. We can truly say she is a friend after working with her for our engagement and now wedding. She was super accommodating and compassionate when it came to re-arranging our wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While we had to postpone until next year for our big reception, she was willing to drive to Wisconsin for the day to cover our ceremony and some of our “mini-reception” of our wedding day this year. She went above and beyond on our wedding day, not only arriving early to make sure everything was in order, but also even staying later to make sure that we had the most amazing photos. Sarah also gets your wedding photos back to you in record time—we had sneak previews the next day and she had our whole album completed in a few weeks (faster than any of my other friends which took months). The quality of her photos has far exceeded our expectations as well. If you’re looking for a photographer (and friend) that will make your wedding day and the days leading up to your wedding a breeze, then think no more, hire Sarah. - She is excellent at what she does – her style is classic and it is clean. Between our proposal, engagement, and wedding events, she shot in almost every light situation imaginable, and somehow made every photo look amazing. Some of our family and friends took photos with their phones and the difference between Sarah’s work and even what the newest smartphone can VERY noticeable. - She loves what she does and it’s contagious – if you have ever done “creative” (or posed) photos at all, they can definitely feel awkward. I’ll be honest and say, while my wife was elated at the prospect of creatives, I was a bit hesitant about the whole concept. However, Sarah did a fantastic job walking Laura and I (and everyone else involved) through what we needed to not just feel comfortable but enjoy it too. When it was all said and done, I may have even had more fun than my wife 😊. - She is worth every penny you pay her – while I was looking to cut costs any way possible, thankfully, my wife knew best to not skimp on the photographer for the wedding. We realized after that the photos that are captured on your wedding day are one of the most important things. - Her pictures tell a story, your story – we are not just saying that, she will literally write one for you (check out her website as she posts wedding stories for all of her couples stories there). This was one of the many ways Sarah differentiates herself from other photographers. The story/blog served as a great way to relive the day ourselves or easily share with others who were not able to experience it. - She is extremely organized – for any vendor you work with, this is actually really important. There is enough to worry about on your wedding day, having to also worry about keeping your vendors on task shouldn’t be one of those stressors! We never doubted for one moment that Sarah wouldn’t do what she said would get done because she had the technology, tools, and processes in place to make sure she (and we) stayed organized and on track. - She goes above and beyond – there were several times where, due to unforeseen circumstances (which will ALWAYS happen), things didn’t go according to plan. Sarah was always able to adjust on the fly to make sure the right pictures were still captured. In some cases, when Laura and I were not there to make calls on things, she actually took the initiative (and we trusted her) to make sure things flowed smoothly, even though doing those things were not included in her “contract.”

Sarah is absolutely incredible! She accommodated our schedule when we only had one possible weekend for an engagement photo shoot and she gave us 110% the entire weekend of our wedding. She managed to take beautiful photos without being obtrusive, all the while being both professional and joyful. We would highly recommend Sarah Sage Photography!

Sarah is THE.BEST! She is so personable and easy to work with. I feel stiff when a camera is around and during our engagement pics she made me forget she was ever there and helped me just feel natural. When I was worried about time on my wedding day or little details, she jumped in to help however she could. She also helped us out in a huge way by letting us use her phone and Facebook page to live stream our wedding during the pandemic. Who else would offer to do that?! She pretty much functioned as our event planner for the day as she helped us out with the timeline to make sure our day went as planned. Sarah was the MVP of our vendors. Not only is she an amazingly talented artist, but she also is an extremely hard working individual who goes above and beyond to make sure her clients are satisfied. She is creative, quick on her feet, detailed oriented and very personable. We were fortunate that Sarah doubled as our day-of coordinator and was more than willing to work around our schedule in preparation for the big day despite us being 3 time-zones away in the west coast. When the weather forecast changed 2 days before our wedding, Sarah very thoughtfully recommended we purchase matching umbrellas for our wedding party. She adapted to the inclement weather, kept an incredibly positive attitude and took beautiful pictures. When she noticed we were feeling exhausted but were trying to push through, she recommended we take a break to recharge. Sarah’s patience and positivity managed to help us wrangle many of our guests that did not speak fluent English to get in pictures at the appropriate time. I don’t even know where to begin when it comes to Sarah to be honest. Sarah was the best choice we made when it came to our wedding vendors. To say she goes above and beyond is an understatement. We liked to joke with her that she doubled as our wedding coordinator because without her I honestly don’t think things would’ve gone as smooth. She was there to work with our day of coordinator to make sure we were happy.. even when it came to speaking out for us.. she wasn’t going to let anything ruin our day. She knows what she is doing, and that certainly helped when we prepared for the ceremony and the rest of the day. Last, but not least, Sarah’s work is beautiful. I can’t tell you how happy we were when going back through our pictures. She took so many pictures to capture the day and all the emotion that came with it. She took her time and made sure it was how we wanted it. She is creative and always finds ways to make your photos stand out from the rest. With her packages, you get to create an album with her, and that was an added bonus, since most photographers I researched didn’t include a photo album. Sarah has been extremely professional, responsive, and calming throughout the whole wedding process. She was very flexible when it came to adjusting our photography package. Without doubts one of the best wedding photographers I have come across. It was always a challenge shooting an Indian wedding with the complexity involved but the flair with which Sarah handled the shoot was just fantastic. We had our wedding and reception on the same day and we as a couple were completely exhausted but Sarah was on her toes ready to capture each and every moment that day. Once we saw our album, I was spellbound the way the pictures were captured and the pictures told a story by themselves. Hiring Sarah to photograph our wedding was the best decision we made in our wedding planning process. From the moment we first met her, we immediately clicked. We had a large, goofy bridal party, and she kept everything moving and we got every picture that we wanted. Not only that, she was dedicated to our day. We paid for a ten hour package, and she was there for thirteen (or maybe even more!), just because she felt like those extra hours would give us the best value and photos. She delivered a blog post with a hundred of our wedding photos before we even left on our honeymoon two days later. We are also provided with not only a flash drive of all of our photos, but also the nicest, highest quality wedding photo album. It is the most unique we’ve ever seen.
