e been great. This is a review for her professionalism & just overall working with her leading up to our wedding. We selected her based on a recommendation from my cousin who said her photos of his wedding were great. Like other reviewers have noted, Sarah is extremely unresponsive. The initial phone call was less than promising; she didn't ask any questions to learn about the event/us, and was generally pretty shy/uninterested, but we decided to go with her anyway based on my cousin's recc. Trying to communicate with her in the month leading up to our wedding was excruciating. We emailed, we called, & heard nothing in response. Our wedding venue needed to speak to her, and was asking us to have her call them, so this was worrisome. After emailing again 2 weeks later, she wrote back (a few days later) that she had a car accident and was busy with work, & would get back to us that night. We were accommodating; things and personal crises happen. But she still did not get back us that night. A few days later she replied w/ answers to our questions, & said she would get in touch with our venue, which she never did. I wrote back with follow up questions. She never got back to me. I called. She never called back. I emailed again. She never emailed back. Our wedding was weeks away. This was really stressful. At that point, we found someone else, who immediately seemed like a better fit (seemed more interested & responsive right from the get go.) I emailed Sarah to tell her that we found someone else & would no longer be needing her. This is the kicker: She responded IMMEDIATELY & asked us to reconsider. Which proved that she did have the capacity to be professional & responsive, but CHOSE not to be. I am so glad we went w/ someone else. It was well worth losing the $500 deposit.

se from that we were able to pick a couple hundred that we LOVE. Our wedding was on a sunny day in a public park, which made for a beautiful, sometimes backlit backdrop. Sarah is a very talented fine art photographer in addition to being wonderful at magically appearing at all the right moments during a wedding. All the other vendors and many of my friends in the arts community knew her by name.

ourselves. Only a hand full are even worth printing. We were told the photos would be edited, and from what we can see they were not edited to what we imagined nor framed well for the most part.

day as we typically hate having our picture taken. She was thoughtful and efficient with our portraits and kept a low profile throughout the ceremony and reception and captured the day as it unfolded. She has a beautiful eye and was able to capture details and moments that we would not have otherwise noticed. We were also pleased to have received our images ahead of schedule.

ts. Additionally We have very little detail pictures from our day or candids. We did not get the feeling she even wanted to even be there on our wedding day.

h her. Emails would go unanswered for weeks. She gave timelines for photos, did not produce the photos in that allotted time, then ignored email communications about where they were. One month before the wedding I still was unable to provide my other vendors with a timeline for the day of because sarah would had not replied to my email attempts from three weeks prior. I had to call her out on it in a third email to which she apologized saying she was very busy with other weddings, travel, and kids. ( it takes 2 minutes to respond to an email that comes DIRECTLY to your phone), and provided me with her cell phone incase I needed to get in touch faster. Which I would have to use 12 weeks after the wedding to inquire where our photos were. She does not give you a "sneak peek" of a handful of photos like other photographers do. But she does post your photos to her website and blogs months before you ever get to see them. Then again ignores your attempts at communication to try and find out where they are. Photos finally came with no I'm sorry, no return phone call or reply email. The headache and stress she puts you through is not worth the nice enough photos she takes.

were getting ready so everyone was very comfortable. I have not seen the pictures yet (wedding was a couple weeks ago) so I can't give her a 5 overall, but I'm sure I will LOVE them!

venue with no problem. Still waiting for the pictures, that's the only reason I didn't give her 5 stars... would love to have them sooner, that's all! But we're just 4 weeks out. I can't comment on those yet as I haven't seen them, but her personality was great and she was easy to work with.

lling us exactly what to do and when. she blended seamlessly into the background and was catching shots i didn't know were happening! we did an engagement session with her which turned out beautifully and i can't wait to see all of her great work with our wedding photos. would highly recommend sarah as a photographer if you appreciate the artistic style she has, and you want a photographer who will let you enjoy your day without the paparazzi treatment, while still capturing all of the beautiful memories.

Not only are the photos beautiful but she captured very special moments that we will have forever. She is also very easy to work with and we barely noticed her during the reception. Her prices are reasonable compared to other photographers in our area, which is shocking due to the high quality of the product.
