Sarah photographed our May 2022 wedding in Asheville, NC. We appreciated Sarah’s photo-journalistic style, and were excited to learn that she’s laid back while still professional i...
n her approach. We hired her for 4 hours to photograph the ceremony, a few family/couple portraits, and the first part of the reception. Sarah captured so many happy memories from our wedding, and all the silly faces our family and friends made along the way, which is exactly what we were hoping for. We would totally recommend her!
Sarah was an amazing addition to our wedding day. She was professional, knowledgeable, and made us feel super comfortable. I loved her photo suggestions! She also was a super quick...
shot, which allowed us to get all of the photos we wanted in the smallest amount of time possible. Would recommend her whole heartedly for any event!!
What can I say about Sadie (Sarah)? She is just the best! I planned my wedding in Asheville from Florida so I didn’t actually meet her until a couple of hours before my wedding. ...
From the very first email, I knew that I had made the right decision. Her attention to detail and commitment to capturing every beautiful moment of our day was apparent from the very beginning. And she is delightful! We now consider her not just a friend, but family. We LOVED hanging out with her on our wedding day. We LOVED that she managed to be everywhere all the time. I LOVED that she was a solid voice of reason to keep me calm when I was freaking out about being late to my own wedding. She knew the best places around the downtown Asheville area to get us some really beautiful shots and I absolutely can’t wait to see them.
You get one shot (pun intended) at getting beautiful wedding photos. I haven’t even seen mine yet and I know that they will be utter perfection. My husband and I paid for our own wedding and had to stick to a very strict budget, but agreed to not put a price on two things: an open bar and an amazing photographer. Her prices were incredibly reasonable and she even stayed past our designated hours because the party was still going strong. She went above and beyond in every possible way and we are so thankful for her. We love you, Sadie! Welcome to our family!
My husband Jeff and I would highly recommend Sarah Whitmeyer as a photographer. Sarah was great to work with both before and after our wedding. She made sure she delivered all of o...
ur requested shots, and went above and beyond to capture our wedding. Looking at the photos was like reliving our wedding, and even provided memories that we may had missed during the whirlwind day. We will treasure our photos forever.
Sarah is a wonderful photographer and such a kind person. She was such a great help on our wedding day. She worked so hard and was wonderful at managing our guests and making sure ...
she ticked off all the photos on our list. I would highly recommend her (and I have a background in professional photography).
Sarah was absolutely AMAZING!!! If you are looking for a photographer with a super fun personality and who is flexible and dedicated to capturing your day exactly how you’d hoped f...
or, she is who you should hire without a doubt! She came prepared with a detailed photo list and made family photos go very smoothly and quickly. And then for our bride and groom photos she scouted out beautiful spots around our camp venue and even brought a printed list of the photos I’d sent her from Pinterest of poses my husband and I liked. I recommend her 100%!!!!
Sarah was our photographer for our recent wedding and did an excellent job of not only putting everyone at ease but also warmly and efficiently capturing each big moment of the wed...
ding day. She showed up early and ready to go to photograph the ladies getting ready, then kept the whole wedding party in high spirits as we did the First Look and group photos. The thing that impressed us the most during this was how she kept things moving along while also checking in to see how we were feeling, and this continued throughout our ceremony and reception. Sarah was such a wonderful part of our special day, and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented and caring photographer!
Amazing to work with! We had such an amazing experience with Sarah and her team! Thanks again for making our day so special!
Sarah is a fantastic photographer!! I saw her work at the weddings of two close friends before we hired her for our wedding. Not only was her work consistent and BEAUTIFUL at each...
of the weddings, but she managed to truly capture the uniqueness of each event. She is so intuitive, patient, flexible, and creative. I love looking through our wonderful photos and feeling like I'm re-living the day!
We found Sarah through our wedding planners, Shay Brown Events. In our first meeting with Sarah we loved her fun and calm personality and knew that we wanted to work with her. Sara...
h was so great to work with. She would email about backgrounds for our Photo Booth and was willing to go on a search for gold sequined fabric for ours. She made photo booth props that were all custom for my husband and I. Sarah and I would share picture ideas on Pinterest to come up with a list of all the pictures we wanted. Sarah took pictures for us at our rehearsal dinner and wedding. She was so professional that sometimes we forgot she was there taking pictures! She blended into the scene so seamlessly! At the wedding she was able to take all the pictures we wanted and they are absolutely beautiful! She has even kept me updated with emails after the wedding with ideas of when our pictures will be available. Sarah was pleasure to get to know and I would recommend her to anyone!

I ABSOLUTELY loved having Sarah Whitmeyer as our photographer! She's always on time and does such great work for her price. I will be using her in the future.
I had Sarah shoot my whole wedding day - from brunch to getting ready to the wedding, and I absolutely LOVED working with her! She was very sweet and thoughtful and made sure to as...
k about everything I wanted her to photograph, if there was any story behind what I was wearing, etc. She was also able to get the groomsmen to behave long enough to take photos - which is not easy to do with those guys! She could also tell when my husband started to get cranky from all the photos and tried to make him feel as comfortable as possible while wrapping up the posed shots.
All in all, I couldn't have asked for anything more from a photographer. She was fast to respond to emails before hand, really meant ALL day when you pay for "all day" services, she was considerate of what I wanted and what she thought would work best, and she was so friendly! I would absolutely recommend working with Sarah. I know the next time I'm in need of photographs, I'll be calling her again!
Sarah was just perfect for our wedding day. She is based out of Asheville North Carolina but travels all over NC for weddings. She makes you feel incredibly comfortable and is a pr...

rea. I worked with Lauren Carroll and I loved her! She did my bridal portraits also and everything looked great. The only problem I encountered was waiting 3 months to get my photos and it was supposed to take 2 months.
Associate Photographers Lauren and Rachael were awesome! We had many complements about how nice they were and how they worked the room. Sample photos were great, can't wait to se...
