I'm not the biggest cake fan generally, but leading up to the wedding I told multiple people I could not wait to eat my cake again, haha. We got a two tiered, semi naked cake for cutting, and then two sheet cakes. The wedding cake itself was so classy and perfect and it cut like BUTTER! It was just as tasty as when we first sampled. And the sheet cakes were massive! We didn't even make it to the second one, which was fine by my family, as we served it again at family events all weekend long :) We also had a dozen vegan cupcakes which were a huge hit with my vegan friends (and even some non vegan guests!). As the bride, guess you don't see all the vendors show up and set up, but I was never once worried about our cakes arriving. Sarah's Cake Shop was punctual, communicative and so friendly. I highly recommend using them for your wedding, and really any event. We found their prices extremely reasonable, and they made us feel like they really cared about our special day. We were a little disappointed because we only had time for a bite when we cut the cake but Sarah’s made sure we had a wrapped section sent to our suite so we could have it later. They thought of everything and we’re so happy they made our wedding cake!

Usually you have some cake left, but we didn't! And we even ordered a little more than our guest count. It was THAT good. Working with Sara Como was a delight. She was thorough and responded quickly when we had questions. I would highly recommend this shop!

We did a tasting at the shop, in which they made four mini cakes of your choice, which was a fun way to try them, and also cover the proposal. Also to note, the pricing was very fair as well. We ended up ordering a second set of tastings because it was so hard to choose, and they had so many flavors that we wanted to be sure we picked the right ones. We ended up choosing a naked style cake with coconut cake and chocolate ganache as one layer, and vanilla cake with brown butter buttercream for the other layer- It was amazing! We also showed her various cake ideas from Pinterest with gold detailing, and she was able to add that as well. Our cake was so gorgeous, and exactly what we wanted both in terms of flavor and design- It was our dream wedding cake! We were also able to rent a cake stand a couple of days in advance for our wedding as well. Overall, our experience with Sarah's Cake Shop was perfect! We would highly recommend.

We received several compliments on the wide variety of delicious options, and guests were asking where we got them so they could visit the shop! Sarah's Cake Shop was wonderful to work with every step of the way!

the delivery/presentation and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it. However, we did end up with a whole tier leftover. I'm not sure if Sarah's overestimated how much we needed or if our venue cut the pieces too small. Luckily my family loves cake so it wasn't a problem to freeze it and finish it overtime. We look forward to our 1st year anniversary complimentary tier cake!

You can also save the top layer of cake or they will make you a fresh one on your one year anniversary. You won’t be disappointed with Sarah’s Cake Shop!
