h the entire planning process, Alana was the best. We had both cultural requests and dietary restrictions that they were able to accommodate no problem. In the execution of the event, they kept everything running smoothly and on time, which was important to us.

ood. It was a mixed bag regarding my guests opinions. Some guests commented favorably about the food but others have been very vocal that it was not up to the standards of what I normally serve at parties. In particular, most guests commented that there was “a lot of standing around” among the staff (servers and chef). Unfortunately Sara herself was at another event that evening, or I don’t think this would have happened. When I wrote to Sara about my disappointment, she replied with a scathing email, not wanting to hear about my experience. I have been to a wedding where Sara was there and the food was very good and well prepared and served. This unfortunately was not my experience. If you hire her, I would suggest you are assured that she will be there and not her unsupervised team. She was quite defensive about my comments to her and unprofessional in her response.

nd tasty. The tasting was incredible and ever since we couldn’t wait for our wedding day to taste the delicious food again. They worked with us as our guest list number changed, worked with our rental companies to help us get everything we needed within our budget, and made the day-of great by making sure we actually ate (crucial) and that there was enough food at both cocktail hour and dinner to make sure everyone had enough food to power them through our epic reception dance party. They were also so instrumental in making sure tables were set up, the flow of the reception and cocktail hour was right, and that the night went off without a hitch. I didn’t realize all the tasks a good caterer does to make a wedding successful and Sara’s did SO MUCH for our special day. One other note - Sara’s worked with us for a unique (read: not the standard wedding fare) menu that I’ve seen at no other weddings - truly unique and personalized to our tastes. DO NOT hesitate to book Sara’s for your wedding or event - you won’t regret it!
