Sara's Tipsy Pies

Wow! From our first meeting with Sara to taste pie, it was clear how passionate she is about her business and the quality of her product. Our wedding pies were a huge hit with our wedding guests, totally cleaned out (in fact, the only "complaint" I have is that I wish we had ordered more pies!). Sara made us a larger pie to cut, which was gorgeous. And the wooden stands to display our pies were a perfect match to the hand pies. We would recommend her tasty, tipsy pies to anyone looking for a creative take on wedding dessert!

One of the best parts of our wedding! Sara is delightful to work and even the tasting experience was tons of fun. Great value for the price, the dessert pies are unique and fun and we still receive compliments. She was very easy to work with on flavor decisions and coordination day-of for pick up by one of our friends. Thank you Sara for the perfect boozy dessert for our brewery wedding!

We wanted something a little different than the traditional cake for our autumn barn wedding, and this was far and away the best choice we could have possibly made for desserts. After trying Sara's pies at the state fair (a great way to sample them if you're not ready to commit to the tasting yet--which is also a fun delicious experience) we knew this was exactly who we wanted to cater the desserts for our wedding. The pies fit our fall theme perfectly and were so ridiculously delicious. We did Pumpkin Pie Rounds, Apple Pies (in the shape of hearts!) as well as pecan tartlets, "tipsy doodle" cookies, and stout cupcakes and people were raving about every single one. She even packs up a little sampler box for the bride and groom because those desserts go FAST. We came back from our sunset photos and they were literally all gone! I was so happy the guests enjoyed the desserts as much as my husband and I did. It's also a great dessert if you don't want to worry about forks because they are hand pies and can easily be eaten without forks (or even plates!) Sara is also one of the kindest ladies ever, and she was a joy to work with. If you want non-traditional desserts for your wedding, look no further.

Absolutely. Perfect. Sara is an absolute dream to work with and is the sweetest! Her pies and other desserts are incredibly delicious and got compliments all night. There’s also an entirely reasonable fee to have the pies delivered and put on display (displays can also be “rented” but there is no charge for renting them if they are returned undamaged) so it’s one less thing to worry about! They were brought in, arranged beautifully, and did not disappoint!

We heard about Sara from my husband's uncle and when we met her we instantly knew we would use her pies no matter what the cost! Sara was so easy to work with, even when I wanted to reduce the number of pies a week before the wedding. She was super friendly and treats all of her customers like they are her friends. I would definitely recommend for wedding desserts or even for parties or just because you want to have pie one night for dessert! Her pricing is very reasonable especially for such a unique dessert option.

We used Sara's Tipsy Pies at our wedding a few weeks ago. They were the hit of the night! All the guests loved the individual sized pies and enjoyed having a variety of flavors to choose from. Sara was fantastic to work with! She was quick to respond to emails and questions. She has a great attention to detail and makes sure the pies presented to her standards. We love how she collaborates with local companies such as Finnegans Brewery, 2Gingers, and local wineries to make her fillings. I highly recommend Sara's Tipsy Pies for any wedding or event. Sara was wonderful and so so sweet (no pun intended)! We met with her on very short notice and had a great tasting. We LOVED everything we tried and couldn't imagine not working with Sara. One thing we appreciated was how many local companies are incorporated into Sara's recipes. There were so many great options that it made it difficult to choose! We wanted them all! Her pies were absolutely delicious - people are still talking about them and our wedding was over a month ago! It was so fun to have something a little different for our dessert options at our wedding. Our dessert table was just beautiful...it was also literally cleared completely in a matter of minutes. :)

Sara is the sweetest vendor I met through the entire planning process. She genuinely cares about not only her product, but her clients too. I contacted Sara a month before my wedding inquiring about her availability. She was incredibly prompt to return with a quote and answering all of the questions I had. She invited us for a tasting and then sent us home with the leftovers (which we ate for breakfast the next day!) Her set up was beautiful and her pie and tarts were absolutely delicious. Sara also made us a 6" cutting cake which was equally as good. Our guests raved about the pie and about how unique it was to serve pie at a wedding. I wholeheartedly recommend Sara and her delicious pies to any bride and groom! (check her out at the State Fair in the food building too!)

YUM! We got married in a rustic barn, and these pies were the perfect fit for our dessert. A lot of options and all of them delicious- guests loved the unique dessert. They were beautifully displayed and Sara was great to work with all year. The tasting was helpful and so fun!

We were looking for a pie maker for our wedding and were referred to Sara and her tipsy pies. She met with us for a tasting and even let our flower girl join us! Sara provided us with lots of choices and helped us narrow it down to four delicious flavors. She delivered our pies to our reception venue and even made a special bride and groom pie for us with our own special flavor.
