Ghosted us. Tyler seemed very professional when we booked him 11 months out from our wedding. Unfortunately, when I began to reopen communication 3 months before our wedding he was...
really difficult to get ahold of. All my emails popped back, no response through the knot convo. Received a message to set up a call time and the call never happened. 2 weeks before our wedding I called multiple times and texted with no response. We ended up having to hire a different DJ 10 days before our wedding.
I cannot say enough about Bill Bara as our DJ. He created a perfect mix of dance club with class. Because he is still out there in the clubs he knows how to read a crowd and keep a...
dance floor packed. There was only about 30 seconds where I noticed anyone sit down from the dance floor, and he somehow spun right out of that song so quickly and smoothly that everyone was right back on the dance floor. He put together a speaker loaded with music for out cocktail hours which was in a separate room. Then he stayed a full hour late and no one left the dance floor! The reception was supposed to end at 11PM but the captain of our venue staff told us the DJ could continue to play because everyone was still dancing. At 11:45PM the captain told me he never expected us to continue to party for so long, and he was going to have to ask the DJ to stop so they'd have enough time to prepare the room for the 8am brunch event they had the next morning! (and there was no alcohol being served after 11pm!) On top of that, Bill and Denise are so easy and fun to work with. They are so excited to work with their couples and really enjoy what they do. They are responsive and professional. Bill even accommodated last-second changes to our bridal party introductions because they wanted to surprise us! Choosing Bill Bara as our DJ was hands down the best decision we made in our entire planning process.
We highly recommend booking Bill for your next event! He keeps the pulse on the dance floor the entire night—smoothly transitioning from song to song and reading the room so your g...
uests stay entertained. I’m addition to keeping the dance floor packed, Bill is extremely organized, responsive, and prepared. I never for a second leading up to the event had to worry about this vendor. I felt confident that he had it under control—something you’ll be grateful for the week of your event when stress levels are high. On the day of the event, Bill is also more than just a typical day. He worked with our wedding coordinator to keep the day moving, didn’t miss a beat on announcements, and seamlessly stepped in when other vendors dropped the ball. We are so happy with the work Bill did DJing our wedding. Our only regret is that we can’t get married every weekend and book him again and again!
A DJ will make or break your wedding; the entire night hinges on his performance. Let me save you the time and book with Sarasota Wedding Company. DJ Bill Bara will make your weddi...
ng a night you'll never forget! From the first time we met him to the night of our wedding, he put our minds at ease. Unlike some vendors, Bill was one of the most responsive and professional vendors we dealt with. If we ever needed anything, he was just a phone call/text message away. Bill is not a typical "cookie- cutter" DJ; he wanted to know the style of music we liked and tailored the playlist to our taste. During our reception, he made sure everything was on track and kept to our timeline. Once the dancing started, there was not a point in the night the dance floor wasn't packed. It is difficult to keep the all the generations dancing, but he was able to throughout the entire night. Bill made sure our wedding was the best night of our life; he went above and beyond to make our night even better. He played until we got kicked out of our hall without hesitation and kept the dance floor jumping. My husband and I couldn't have been happier. Bill is an extremely talented DJ and booking him was, hands down, the best decision of our wedding.
By far the best wedding DJ I have experienced! Countless guests have said truthfully that it was the best wedding they have been to, and Bill played a huge part in that. It was the...
most consistently packed dance floor I have seen at a wedding ever, of all ages. Our legs were cramped up the next day from dancing :-) He also made sure all of the formalities at the event ran smoothly, do not discount the value of that. Bill also really seemed to have fun, he was engaged with the crowd, and people took notice to that. It was a perfect night, can't recommend him enough.
DJ Tyler is honestly the best DJ and MC you could hire. We are so thankful we found him on The Knot. Between his talent, passion & energy, everyone had a blast!!! He’s also extreme...
ly helpful. I asked about a million questions along the wedding planning journey & he was always so quick to respond. Also, Josh, the videographer for Sarasota Wedding Company put together such an amazing highlights video for us. High quality & great editing skills! We love it so much! We are so thankful to both of these individuals & highly recommend hiring them!
If you're thinking of hiring DJ Tyler James, all I have to say is DO IT. This man is AWESOME!!! From the very first phone call, we knew we wanted to hire him. He was super easy to...
talk to and answered every question we had clearly and concisely. He sent us a website to fill out all the details of the wedding, including a database of music that we can choose from to link the songs we needed/wanted. The database didn't have some of the songs we wanted, but fear not, a simple text to him about it and he called us up immediately to talk us through how to get what we wanted. Cut to the day of the wedding. He had to travel about 3 hours to our venue on the day. He showed up 2/3 hours early with a smile on his face, ready to get things going. We had an outdoor wedding, so DJ Tyler hooked a mic up to our officiant so everyone could hear! When it came time for our grand entrance DJ Tyler got everyone on their feet and his announcement of us truly made us feel like the most important people in the world in that moment. He commands the mic and gets everyone's attention with ease. Now to the party! On one of our phone calls prior to the wedding, he asked for a few songs we absolutely wanted played, and then he could do the rest. He definitely wasn't kidding! This dude had our dance floor jumping! His mixing ability was so clean it felt like we were clubbing! He ended our night with "time of our lives" and to be %100 honest, it was definitely the time of our lives thank to DJ Tyler James!! If you're reading this Tyler, You're the BEST! Everyone MUST (and I repeat) MUST book DJ Tyler James for their event!!
My husband and I had the honor of having Tyler dj our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made for our special day! We had so many compliments on him from our guests ab...
out how awesome he is, and the dance floor was full the whole night. We had several meetings and discussions with him prior to the big day about what we wanted and envisioned. He asked us all the important questions and made every music detail perfect for the ceremony and reception! We told him all the important songs, what kind of genre/ style for the rest of the night and he worked his magic. We also loved the portal he used with all the songs you can add for him to play as well, it was also super easy to use! If you are in need of an AMAZING dj, Tyler is your go to! I would highly recommend to anyone :)

venient for everyone and really listened to what we had to say. He was prepared for everything and very accommodating to each of the locations he used at the venue. He is great with his presentation and interactions with not only our families, but also our guests. He made everything run smoothly and stayed calm throughout the event. You can tell that he really enjoys what he does and it was pleasure to work with him.
