Gorgeous Historic Venue with Modern Amenities
Voted 2024 Favorite Wedding Venue in Saratoga, The Foothill Club is a historic 1915 Arts and Crafts-style building, designed by Julia Morgan, the chief architect of Hearst Castle. We are by far the most reasonably priced venue in Saratoga because our woman's club wants to make the clubhouse available to the community for special celebrations and events. Inside the clubhouse entrance, a foyer leads to the ballroom with an open, adjacent dining room. The space is easily configured for either a buffet or multi-course sit down dinner and can accommodate up to 150 guests, 120 if your party includes dancing. The venue is equipped with a modern kitchen, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a bridal suite. The elevated stage is lovely spot for the wedding altar, a live band or DJ, or video presentations. Amenities include tables and chairs, with upgrades available for additional fees.
The vaulted redwood ceiling and large glass windows provide abundant natural light giving the site a rich, old-world charm and welcoming atmosphere. With meticulous attention to historical standards, a major exterior preservation project was completed in 2023 offering a photo-ready backdrop for your event. The gorgeous “Secret Garden” patio with grand arbor and flowering plants is a spot many couples choose as their ceremony site. It can also be used for cocktail hour or as additional dining space.
The clubhouse is nestled in a charming neighborhood just one block from beautiful downtown Saratoga with easy access from major highways. The clubhouse offers an elegant, full-service venue for a rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and/or reception caterered by our event manager, Gunther's, or choose one of our preferred caterers an additionnal fee. The venue is also a great space for an engagement party, bridal shower, vow renewal, bar/bat mitzvah or memorial service. We can also be configured for concerts, business meetings, or dance recitals.

Gunther’s Catering, a family-owned business with 53+ years of event management experience, provides the venue’s catering and event coordination services. From full-service event planning to buffet, plated, and cocktail-style receptions, they are determined to do everything they can to create a memorable celebration. For additional fees, you have the options to choose a different caterer from our preferred list, or your own upon approval from the club.
