I'm an Englewood, FL-based film and documentary wedding photographer at Sasha Prince Photography. I work across the Gulf Coast in places like Sarasota, Anna Maria Island, Siesta Key, Venice, Boca Grande, Naples, and everywhere in between. I shoot on 35mm film, medium format, and toy cameras alongside digital. The approach is documentary — I show up and let things unfold. There's no staging, no direction, no vendor marketing. Your wedding is private, and it belongs to you. Every wedding becomes a printed zine—something you can hold. I take on 8–12 weddings a year and work with couples who connect with this kind of photography. Portraits, family documentation, and editorial sessions are also part of what I do. We got married November 17th, 2016 at the Olowalu Plantation House and they were able to capture the beauty of that place with ease. The photos all turned out amazing. She made all of us feel very comfortable and we barely even knew she was there, especially during the ceremony. Sasha's talent in capturing all of the amazing characteristics and beauty of the church as well as the happiness and love of myself and my new husband was amazing. She really caught a lot of great pictures. She turned around the proofs within a week, which is great for a new bride who has no patience, and we thoroughly enjoyed looking through all the proofs (numerous times). ll you enough how amazing she is; I was bawling my eyes out with joy, when Sasha revealed/introduced herself after the proposal to then begin our engagement shoot, and I fell in love with her instantly. My fiancé had corresponded with her from NY, and even between times zones and crazy flights, they managed to both surprise me (my fiancé and Sasha obviously had never met, so unknown to me, as James and I passed Sasha on the beach, they gave each other head nods as if to say "yes, I am James.. You must be Sasha, let's do this!"). She made us both so comfortable and let us enjoy every moment without being overwhelming and intrusive. Trust us, if we could, we would fly Sasha out to NY for our wedding. From a business standpoint, she is prompt, and so quick to get you your pictures. She has set a ridiculously high standard to finding a photographer back in NY! We love you Sasha! THANK YOU for everything! I went through a wedding planner (White Orchid) for my fiance and I's destination wedding. With our package, photography was included and at first, I was interetested in upgrading ...

but once I saw Sasha's portfolio, there was no need. She does an amazing job at capturing the spirit of the day and the beautiful Maui landscape. I still can't pick just 25 for professional editing because they're all so beautiful!! Sasha was so friendly and accomodating and really made the most of the beach we were on. Moving from one location to another, she caught us in several different environment all within mere feet from each other. I highly recommend working with Sasha. She's uber talented and professional.
