I’m a wife and proud mom of four amazing girls, and they are at the heart of everything I do. I’ve always been in love with the color green, the quiet beauty of forests, the wildness of nature, and the simple joy of flowers in bloom. Those inspirations show up in so many parts of my life—including behind the bar. I’ve been bartending for over 15 years, and along the way I’ve discovered how to bring my love of art into every cocktail I make. For me, bartending isn’t just about pouring drinks—it’s about creating something beautiful, memorable, and full of life. From fresh ingredients to thoughtful details, I try to weave a little bit of nature and artistry into every glass I serve.

We had Sassafras serve drinks from her bar cart at our 50 person wedding in Lexington KY and we were soooo happy with our experience. She is very personable and all of our guests ...

and vendors LOVED her. She's great at reading the room and keeping the drinks flowing. Our guests drank all night and I do not think that the line got more than 3 people deep ever. She made two signature cocktails: a old fashioned and a lavender lemonade, which we amazing. But she also made drinks to order all night: gimlets, martinis, and lemon drop shots. We brought a shotski for group shot taking, and she was very involved in hyping everyone up and making an event out of it. Planning with her was so easy. She is very professional and quick to respond with questions or requests. We blindly found her on the Knot and we are SOOO happy that we did.

The drinks were excellent all night, and our guests especially loved the different margarita options.
