Rhonda and the Saucy Salamander team were amazing to work with. Rhonda was very professional and understood my vision perfectly. Right from the initial consult we were sold, Rhonda is so easy going but seasoned enough (being in business for the past 30 years) to know exactly how to execute impeccably. The tastings and menu suggestions were spot on. She helped with all the details when I was at a loss, even the week of the wedding when I realized I had forgotten to order wine glasses with the linen company. I couldn’t thank Rhonda enough for making our wedding day menu so great and delicious.

Rhonda and her team were utterly AMAZING!! The food was delicious, the setup and presentation and the outstanding service were noticed by all our guests! Rhonda was much more than a vendor to me, she helped me and advised me, and was there for anything I needed! I am so thankful we chose them for our wedding! They even set up the cocktail hour and a separate bar on the beach for us and our guests loved it!

Saucy Salamander catered our recent wedding and thanks to Rhonda and the wonderful team at Saucy Salamander, it really was the fantastic celebration we had hoped to share with our family and friends. The food was beautiful, delicious and remarkable. Literally. Each guest we have spoken with since just loved the food and many said that it was the best wedding dinner they have ever had (with several mentions of the Saucy Salad alone)! Rhonda and her team set the room perfectly. Thanks to her many years of experience as an approved caterer at our venue, they transformed the space into an elegant room with our simple decor. They attended to my new husband, me and our all of our guests with thoughtful care. But catering is not all that they do. Rhonda was an enormous help in the planning and decision making process. She made navigating the many options easy, and generously made suggestions and provided recommendations for items I needed help with or had not thought of - and there were many. She guided us through selecting linens, securing rentals and the wine and spirits for the bar, and referred us to an excellent bakery for the cake. I truly can't thank Rhonda and the Saucy Salamander Team enough for their work to make our wedding the wonderful evening that it was. I would highly and wholeheartedly recommend Saucy Salamander to anyone catering an event of any kind, large or small. I am so very happy that they catered our wonderful wedding day!!

After interviewing several catering services in the Annapolis area, we selected Saucy Salamander for our daughter’s wedding. Everything was absolutely perfect! I can’t thank Rhonda and her staff for making this the most beautiful day ever! The food, the presentation of the tables, the service, the attention to every detail was amazing! My only regret was that it went by too fast! For anyone looking for a catering service for your special day, Saucy Salamander is top notch. Saucy Salamander catered a wedding and reception for us in May, 2019 and we were thrilled with everything they did for us. Rhonda was so friendly and warm and above all, absolutely wonderful to work with...she quickly understood our ideas and was able to offer us great advice and many helpful suggestions. She guided us through every step of the process with gentle reminders and enthusiasm. On the wedding day, it was evident that she and her staff were making every effort to help us host a very special and fabulous celebration. Our guests praised their professional manners, efficient service and, of course, their delicious food! We could not have asked for a better company ...we would not hesitate to recommend them for any catering needs, but especially for a wedding and reception that you’ll always remember with much pride and happiness!

Saucy Salamander did an exceptional job with our wedding. Rhonda Falcon is really passionate about her work and it showed with all the details put into our event. She has a very friendly staff and a very good system of making a wedding smooth and stress free. Rhonda worked closely with us to ensure that we got what we wanted for our special day. She gave us her honest opinion about decoration and food and really helped us with working on our budget. Saucy Salamander also does a very good job of working with the rentals i.e. chairs, tables, cloths, etc. Working along side Saucy Salamander to make our dream wedding come true was a breeze. My wife and I would highly recommend this company for all of your catering needs.

Such an AMAZING experience with Rhonda and her team! My husband and family are still talking about how impressed they are. This company took so much stress off of me. They are full service and professional, however so friendly and absolutely priced right! Definitely the best decision I made was going with Saucy Salamander for my wedding day!

Seriously AMAZED with the experience my husband and I had with Saucy Salamander. Rhonda was more than help in several areas when dealing with out wedding. She hosted a fabulous tasting. One of the reoccurring things that we heard after our wedding was how much people enjoyed the food. But what people don't know is how much Rhonda did for us aside from just that. She took us to the rental company to make sure that we had everything we needed, and she even helped us with our lay out for the reception. I would HIGHLY recommend using Saucy Salamander for any event.

Thank you Rhonda for going above and beyond for the Nicholson wedding at Historic Londontown! She made sure my husband and I were able to eat and let me tell you it was such a relief. Rhonda and her team made our day extremely special! From the first tasting, we knew that Saucy Salamander was the caterer for us. We didn't even bother to taste test anyone else. Rhonda treated us like her own children and took such good care of us! The food was amazing and we got so many complements from guests. We knew everything was under control the day of and we even got to eat because we were waited on hand and foot by the staff.

We used Rhonda and the Saucy Salamander for our daughter's wedding 3 years ago and still hear praises for the food! When our other daughter got engaged we didn't even consider anyone else. Again, the food was excellent and offered choices for all the varied diets of our guests. Rhonda's good food is surpassed only by her excellent service. Both our weddings were outdoors and required last minute changes due to the heavy rain at one and the heat wave at the other. Rhonda and her staff remained cheerful and helpful throughout. Her experience and connections with the rentals and beverage vendors made both events very easy to plan. Rhonda helped us every step of the way through both weddings, with so much enthusiasm, the whole process was stress free. I highly recommend Rhonda and the Saucy Salamander.

To say Rhonda and her team are amazing is an understatement. Our venue was a complete blank slate - no tables, no decorations, no coordinator, etc. Rhonda was so great at helping us decide on everything from floor plan to decor - I don't know what I would have done without her. There was also no running water or a built-in kitchen at the venue, but Rhonda was up for the challenge. Everything ran so smoothly and efficiently and the food was delicious. We had so many compliments on the food and several guests asked for her contact information. Oh, and did I mention it was 100+ degrees on the day of the wedding, all of which was outside? Again, Rhonda and her amazing team took it all in stride and were helpful and cheerful throughout the day despite the oppressive temperature. In short, if you are looking for a caterer who is truly invested in your wedding, will go the extra mile, and is up for any and every challenge you (and mother nature) can throw at her, Rhoda and the Saucy Salamander team at the very best! I cannot recommend her strongly enough.

Words cannot explain how impressed my Husband and I are with the fantastic work of Saucy Salamander Catering! From our initial meeting and tasting with Rhonda, to the day of the wedding, everything exceeded expectations. Rhonda was SO good to us! She knew we were on a budget, and she not only respected that, she made every possible suggestion as to how to keep the costs down. Rhonda was there every step of the way with planning, she worked with our other vendors to make a smooth event happen, and by the time our wedding came around she honestly felt like family. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. Rhonda completely took control and made it a worry free day for us. As is the case with many couples on their wedding day, we were so busy greeting all of our guests at the cocktail hour we didn’t have much of a chance to eat anything. We were so appreciative when Rhonda had two large plates of food ready for us right when we sat down for dinner so that we had a chance to eat while everyone else was up at the buffet. Everything was DELICIOUS!! The Saucy Salamander crew was impressive in their professionalism, flexibility, ability to think on their feet, and a pure pleasure to have around. Finding Rhonda and her team was like winning the wedding planning lottery. Aside from her amazing catering services she was almost like a stand-in wedding planner. We went with almost all of her vendor recommendations and are so grateful for them. From the moment we started working with her, she was the biggest help. She was always available for answering questions about the food and the venue and smoothly kept up with all of our changes. The food was amazing and such a great price. Our buffet dinner offered our guests several entree choices. Guests told us throughout the night how good everything was. I'm only sad I wasn't able to eat more. The waitstaff was flawless and very professional. We hardly even noticed them. I cannot recommend Rhonda and Saucy Salamander enough. I would hire them in a heartbeat if I ever have need for a catered event in the future.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Rhonda and Saucy Salamander. I came to Rhonda because my original caterer was unable to cater my wedding reception, and though I had a back-up caterer in mind that I was looking in to, I decided I needed to have a back-up for my back-up plan just in case. We met with Rhonda and immediately felt at ease, as if everything happens for a reason and we had landed with the caterer we were meant to have. Did I mention this was 1 month before the wedding reception? Rhonda flew into action. I felt so comfortable and trusted that she had it all taken care of. I did not worry at all that my reception would be wonderful. The food was great and presented beautifully wonderful (I wish I could’ve had more, but no time ) . Things ran smoothly and all the workers were pleasant, helpful, and efficient. Thank you, Saucy Salamander, for the part you played in our special day!

I can't say enough good things about Saucy Salmander... both their food and their staff. I can not imagine having any other caterer at my wedding! I felt as if the staff were an extension of my friends/family. They were the most pleasant, kind, professional, fun and accommodating group of people. They were beyond helpful and really took care of every single person at the wedding. They really went above and beyond, helping with every single detail- even those I didn't expect them to help with. The food was OUTSTANDING! Weeks later, people are still talking about how delicious it was. Very rarely do brides and grooms have the opportunity to eat their meal, well my husband and I refused to leave the table once we started eating! My wedding day planner even made a point to reach out to me after the wedding and express how amazing it was to work so closely with Saucy Salamander (and she works with a lot of caterers.) I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer. They were amazing from the first meeting to the last goodbye, served really delicious food and were extremely reasonably priced. Rhonda Falcon and her team did an excellent job with catering our wedding at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis on June 9, 2012. She was very organized, friendly, and did whatever we needed and asked for. She even had to set up my guest book and all the other fine touches that are neccessary during a reception. She was able to place everything in the correct spot as she was told. The food was delicious and her pricing is very reasonable. My wedding guests have continued to tell me how delicious our food was that day. The Saucy Salmander made us Pesto chicken, beef tenderloin, red potatoes, green beans almondine, tortellini, and the rolls were delicious!!! The beef tenderloin was cooked perfect. The saucy salamander signature salad is to die for too!!!! For appetizers we had crap dip, bruschetta, and scallops wrapped in proscuitto. These too were delicious. She also took care of picking up the beer, wine,and liquor and delivering it to the reception. This definatley made it easier on Dan and I. I would definately recommend the Saucy Salamander to others. They would be great for any catering event too!

going with saucy salamander was one of the best coincindental finds for our wedding! it was great working with rhonda, who made me feel like she really cared about how our wedding day would unfold. she helped coordinate the rentals for the day, worked with the hall manager, referred us to a great baker. we decided to save some money by not getting a tent for the patio/balcony at our reception site, but rhonda kindly brought a small covering with her - being outside for the cocktail hour was really enjoyable for our guests. we did splurge a bit on the food since there were a lot of other areas in which we were cutting costs. and it was important to us to have good food. which, you definately will get with saucy salamander. she worked with us on the menu, incorporating some of our random favorites (falafel and taboulah paired with chinses style pork buns:). one thing i wish we had thought of beforehand was what to do if there were leftovers - i should have thought to ask that, but maybe there weren't any leftovers left! the food was that good:)

Rhonda has decades of experiences, and guided us to a nicely balanced, beautifully-displayed array of heavy hors d'oeuvres for our evening reception.

I honestly do not know how to begin to explain how great Saucy Salamander is. I wanted Rhonda to cator my wedding from the first time I met her and had lunch at her cafe. She displays all food in an artisic beautiful way. I hated the way wedding buffets look in the silver chaffing dishes, and Saucy Salamander is the exact oppisite. The food is not only delicious, but it looks beautiful too. From the begining, Rhonda immediately turned into not only our catorer, but in a way our wedding planner. She helped us so much, and we were so appriciative!! I was sad to learn that she would not be able to work our actual event, but once I met her right hand lady, Anne, I knew my wedding would be perfect! Anne was so sweet and absolutely went above and beyond to make our day so special. Our weddding day ended up going a bit haywire, due to rain, wind, and cold, and Anne came up with a perfect plan to make sure that our wedding ran smooth and was beautiful. She had to make a lot of quick and important decisions, and she made all the right choices for us! I cannot thank her enough! I will recommend Saucy Salamander to all brides! You will not be dissapointed with the excellent food choices, and top notch service!!
