We had our ceremony and reception here in the pavilion and garden in Aug 2024. It was amazing and the venue is breath taking, especially the garden! It has a rich and unique histor...
y, and it was the first venue we looked at and we booked it the very next day. The SCA staff, particularly Teresa, the venue's event coordinator, was extremely professional, responsive, and great to work with. She even had a list of other vendor recommendations to help us pull off this forever memory. We highly recommend this venue and can't thank the SCA team enough!
My partner and I used them for our wedding this past weekend. The entire process went so smoothly. Teresa, the events manager, was so accommodating and provided so much info. It ma...
de the process so much less stressful! It’s also a beautiful venue! We rented the rain garden and pavilion. It rained a bit at the beginning, but because of the pavilion cover it didn’t matter. We highly recommend them!
This venue was perfect from start to finish. My husband and I wanted a venue that was outdoors, but offered options in case rain occurred so SC4A was perfect with the pavilion. The...
resa, the events coordinator, was such a pleasure to work with the entire time. The garden where we had the ceremony was so beautiful and all of our guest commented on how much they loved the venue. The venue has private parking which is great in small Saugatuck. Everyone loved access to the art gallery during the wedding and bar prices were really fair. Plus, they don’t charge you for unopened alcohol which is great. I had not one complaint about SC4A and I would recommend it to anyone for a wedding or event!
The staff at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts were wonderful and helped us have a beautiful day! Teresa was so kind and helpful with answering questions and coordinating the event...
! She worked with us to help us create the wedding we wanted :) The venue is multifaceted and offers indoor and outdoor beauty, it combines nature, art, and a modern industrial feel and offers the ability to do an indoor/ outdoor wedding - perfect for those who want to be outside but also like a back up plan with Michigan's unpredictable weather. So happy we went with this venue!
Picking a wedding venue was something I dreaded most at the start of planning, and then we visited the SCA and met Teresa, and everything changed. The space, both inside and out, w...
as absolutely perfect for our 150 guest wedding, and I can honestly say everything about the day and place was perfect. Teresa worked tirelessly with me for nearly a year, helping me to pick out the perfect wines, keeping me updated on some of the re-designs that were happening within the space, accommodating all our wacky ideas (food trucks, cramming 150 people into a space that fits 70 for a ceremony, etc.), re-answering questions that I kept asking, coordinating with vendors and my planner, and sending me photos and layouts whenever I asked. She was so thorough and helpful... I honestly felt like her only client (and she was planning an enormous community event the night before our wedding)!
I also love that our wedding exposed our guests to the wonderful art and important work the SCA is doing in the Saugatuck community, and as someone who works at an Art Museum myself, I understand how much facility rentals help support the mission of the SCA organization. The rental fee (which is comparable if not less than other venues in the area) is vital to the continued success of this special place and the wonderful people, like Teresa, who work there. Not only did we throw a bad ass party in an awesome space, but we supported the arts in our own small way, and that feels good :)
Looking back, I wouldn't change and thing and would 100% recommend to anyone looking to have their wedding outside and try something a bit different!
This venue was stunning! We had our ceremony in the rain garden and the weather was perfect! The venue looked great and could definitely accommodate our 150 guest list. The staff...
was very helpful with the flow of the day, along with answering all of my questions throughout the wedding planning process. I would recommend this venue to everyone planning to get married in the Awesome town of Saugatuck!!
