The Savage Pianos are the greatest musicians I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Matt, Steve and crew (Christian, Micah, Joel and Collin) are absolutely incredible! They played music for our ceremony and our reception! They kept my entire guest list so entertained all night. The knowledge and abilities they have to play any song you can think of is absolutely top notch. Guests from my wedding are still talking about how insanely talented and how amazing the Savage Pianos truly are. Thank-you guys for a truly unforgettable night and I honestly could never thank-you enough! Love the Lancasters and all of our family. HIRE THEM NOW you will not regret one second!!!

Incredible!!!! We had Savage Pianos play at our wedding welcome party - and they crushed it! Ridiculous musical talent, verrrry fun for the crowd, singing + dancing all night. My friends were bummed that these guys were not also the wedding band for Saturday eve. They were also super lovely to work with - professional, organized and so helpful. Highly, highly recommend!!

Savage Pianos was established in 2018 to bring the FINEST in Dueling Piano Entertainment to the Northeast. Our performers are recognized as headline entertainers around the world. They are each known for their craftsmanship, deep repertoires, and unique personalities! Please check out our videos! We offer several options for wedding events. OUR STANDARD RECEPTION SHOW features two singing pianists and a drummer (possibly violin or saxophone depending on who is performing). It is a request driven dueling piano dance party where our performers keep your guests dancing all night while taking requests. We will work with you on putting together the perfect trio for your event, and take on any necessary emcee duties. OUR MOST EXCITING OPTION is the The Savage Pianos All-Star Band. Imagine the flexibility of a dueling piano show with the sounds of a full band. It is a request driven dueling piano dance party featuring a carefully selected roster of dueling piano performers and professional instrumentalists. The band features pianos, drums, saxophone, guitar, violin, and variety of male and female vocalists. The performers work together to create a set-list on-the-fly based on audience requests. You will be treated to world-class instrumental improvisation, fantastic vocal harmonies, and amazing showmanship. Unlike most wedding bands that are unwilling to deviate from their songbook of 50 or so tunes, this band knows thousands of songs, and we welcome you to write down your requests! Owner

Steve grew up in NJ before studying English at Boston College and piano at the Berklee College of Music. He's been performing dueling piano shows around the globe for 10 years: Singapore, Switzerland, Holland, cruise ships all over Europe and the Caribbean, as well as many clubs all over the US. Over the years he's acted as music director, emcee, and performer to produce dueling piano shows at weddings all over the Northeast! Steve sings, plays piano, and saxophone for Savage Pianos.

professional. The performers were exceptionally skilled musicians with a wide-ranging repertoire — from classic rock to current pop to heartfelt ballads. They were also fantastic at reading the crowd and keeping everyone engaged. They made our wedding feel truly unique and personal. Highly recommend for any couple looking to elevate their celebration beyond the typical DJ or band!

It’s always been my dream to have a live band for my wedding. When my husband found this band and told me that they have dueling pianos AND they play for weddings, I almost fainted...

. We went to scope them out at The Hard Rock in Atlantic City first and just sitting at the bar watching them there was probably one of the funnest nights of my life. The presence that this band has while they are on stage is incredible. So obviously, we hired them for our whimsical, unique and non-traditional wedding reception. It was hands-down the most incredible night of my life. At one point, some of my guests were getting tired and wanted to leave and that was about an hour and a half before the end of the party. Then Matt jumped on the fiddle and EVERYBODY and their kids went running to the dance pavilion. Those people partied harder that night than I have ever seen them party. We couldn’t get them out by the end of the night. Matt is so gifted on the fiddle. I felt like I was at a world-class concert. Steve, who is the owner of the band, is such an amazing person and very worldly. My family is traditional Italian and he knew many Italian songs that he sang live which brought my dad to tears. He’s incredible on the piano and several other instruments as well as saxophone! I am so blessed and grateful to have found this band and they not only are amazing when they perform, but they are just amazing people in general and genuinely want everyone to have a good time. They clearly love what they do and it shows through their performance. Thank you for giving me a night to remember forever. Love you all.

nted! They played every single thing my guests requested from 90s pop to country to hip hop to anything in between. I’ve never seen people so excited for songs to get played at a wedding. Our guests could not stop raving about them. To top it off they learned a special song I requested for them to play when we first met and when I say they executed it perfectly, I mean it. It was an absolute blast. We can’t wait to see them next time they play a public event!

Steve is super professional and committed to a professional experience. It was great knowing we had such a dedicated vendor who we could rely on. NOW - for the music. We have gotten texts nonstop about how the music was the best music guests had ever seen at a wedding. Steve brought his team and they hit the ground running and played nonstop to the very end. Every song was better than the last and their range is so diverse. They nailed every genre from country to pop to rap to even a Disney finale. Steve even jumped on top of a speaker and did a saxophone solo that had people screaming. The musicians are one of a kind, crazy fucking talented and super nice people. The music set the tone for an insanely fun wedding that our guests loved and felt a part of via requests. I’d recommend them to ANYONE and want every future wedding I attend to hire them as well!

ly professional, accommodating, and easy to work with. They are truly tremendous performers and had our wedding dancing all night! Matt and Krisztina learned and performed some tricky songs for our ceremony (ranging from Smashing Pumpkins to Lord of the Rings soundtrack). They were executed better than I even imagined! They were fantastic during our cocktail hour. During the reception, songs were by request, although it was a new concept to most, everyone LOVED it. Throughout the night and since, I’ve had so many of our guests raving about the music! “So original, amazing energy, they really can play anything” were among the comments, and it is all true. Our guests were captivated by everything from the versatile pianos and vocals, to the high energy violin and drums. We had an absolute blast at our wedding and so much of it is due to Savage Pianos. Tiny anecdote: Literally the day before the wedding, as we were ironing out some details with the coordinator, we realized that we needed entrance music as we were entering into the reception room. I emailed Steve in a panic asking for a specific song, but I told him that I wasn’t expecting him to learn it on such short notice. When we walked out and actually heard the song I asked for, I could not believe it! It made the moment that much more intimate and special for us. They completely knocked it out of the park and we could not have been happier that we booked them! Savage Pianos is AWESOME and we cannot recommend them highly enough! the details were taken care of, so when the big day arrived I didn't have to do anything except let him in the door. Steve hired the best guys in the tri-state to make our dream band come together, they even worked out a special arrangement of our favorite song! My husband is a musician, so he was extra picky about the band, but even he was impressed. The band and the party that they made our reception is one of our favorite memories and the thing we get compliments on the most!
