Based in Augusta, GA, Savannah River Brewing Co opened for business in 2017. Since then, they have provided delicious brews for a wide range of occasions, including weddings and other celebrations. This company is close-knit and is passionate about all it does, something which is evident in the quality and presentation of their products.
Savannah River Brewing Co. features a 4000-square foot taproom, currently configured with about 150 seats inside, and another 50 outside. The facility is rated for 400, and the seating is infinitely customizable.
In addition to the event space, you will have a selection of flagship and seasonal beers when you book the brewery. Flagship options include brews like the No Jacket Required, a Czech Pilsner, the Phinizy Swamp Thing, a Fruited Berliner Weisse, or the Savannah River IPA, an American IPA. There are also many other varieties, some of which change throughout the year.

photos at the brewery outside of normal hours - we had the place all to ourselves for those special pictures. They turned out beautifully!
We also decided to use SRBC as our wedding reception venue and they were wonderful to work with. Not only were we able to serve our guests the wonderful beer at SRBC, but we were also able to work closely with the brewing team to get a His and Hers beer brewed for the special event.
This venue has plenty of beautiful indoor and outdoor space and their bar staff is extremely accommodating to all of your needs. We highly recommend SRBC for your next photoshoot or party!

engagement party in that same space. While we had originally planned to elope, COVID-19 had other plans. We decided to have a private ceremony followed by a small reception for our closest friends last minute. Lucky for us, the brewery had last minute availabilty so we could seal the deal right where we met. They were extremely accomodating and provided an outstanding experience from start to finish. The venue itself has plenty of space, a beautiful live edge bar, along with an outstanding selection of craft beers that are brewed on-site. Jim, the taproom manager went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and he was very easy to communicate with especially given the last minute nature of the event. Both the engagement party and the reception were experiences that I won't forget and I couldn't be happier with our decision to go with Savannah River.
