Saving the Date is owned and operated by Savanna Faulkner. As the lead planner, Savanna has over a decade of experience in the event industry, serving the Austin & Dallas area.
Savanna has seen it all! She started out in corporate events at Dell Computers, followed by working for the best athletic department in the world - The University of Texas! ( Hook 'em). Following her big heart, Savanna started a non- profit in East Austin and hosted several successful fundraiser events. In an effort to expand her event knowledge she then moved to conferences; managing multi-day conferences with up to 5,000 attendees.
In 2017 Savanna decided to follow her passion and entrepreneurial spirit and started Saving the Date. She has planned and coordinated over 100 weddings to date!

The day of, it was like we were on a cloud, smooth sailing throughout, or at least that is what we remember! Which should be exactly what the couple remembers. After so many disaster stories of weddings, I felt so spoiled and well taken care of by the Saving the Date Team! My husband was sure to never have an empty drink throughout the night, they made sure to get us fed and calm before the night got started (as well as packed us a nice hearty meal), and made sure to keep our valuables in pristine condition (including my husbands inhaler!!!). They literally catered to us all night long! Our wedding day went off Perfectly, and it would have not been possible without their help and support!
