I cannot rave about Chef Derek and Savory House Kitchen enough!! Chef Derek was the only caterer that offered us a tasting for our wedding menu. He fit us in a few days after Christmas for our tasting since my fiancé was only on leave for a few days before having to fly back to Texas. His food was to die for and we had so many compliments from our guests. 10 out of 10 would recommend…especially the meatballs and chicken and waffle bites!!!

We chose Savory House Kitchen for our wedding rehearsal dinner and wedding reception and they were AMAZING! We got so many compliments on the food and it was indeed delicious. Derek and his staff were extremely helpful and communicative and made our vision come to life for all things related to our big day!

My decision to go with Derek and his team did NOT disappoint!!!
This catering team was absolutely fantastic down to pricing, helping us figure out our menu and delivering the day of our wedding!!!
I got so many high reviews and compliments on the taste of the food from our guests and that made me so happy.
Another HUGE reason I went with Derek and his team was because they were one of VERY FEW caterers who actually included alcohol in their services! We did not have to go buy the alcohol ourselves and then pay a separate price for someone to simply serve it. NO. They supplied EVERYTHING. I picked the wines and beer I wanted and they delivered and served it for an amazing price included in our total package! Stress annd hassle free!
All of the team members that attended the wedding were super sweet and professional as well. If you’re looking for a great catering service for your event, this is the team to go with I promise!
Thank you so so much for taking part in making my wedding day perfect! I will never forget!

The team from Savory House Kitchen was amazing!! They catered our wedding and the food was delicious. That’s one of the main things guests focus on for weddings. Not only was the food great, but we even had family and friends come up to us and say how sweet the Savory House staff were! They’re down to earth and friendly, but still very professional and efficient. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience from a wedding caterer. The filet mignon had people raving about it the next day. Definitely reach out to Chef Derek and his team if you’re looking for a great all-around catering experience!

Savory House Kitchen catered my wedding and did a phenomenal Job! From the very begging Derrick was professional and accommodating. We did the buffet option and everything ran smoothly. We had zero complaints and everyone raved about good the food was. I would definitely recommend savory house kitchen and can’t wait to work with them again!

Outstanding!! We used Chef Derek and his team for our daughter’s wedding. From the first contact, he was extremely responsive and easy to work with. We created a custom menu and enjoyed our tasting experience. He provided valuable feedback and worked with us thru some changes during the process. All of the food was high quality and delicious- many wedding guests have commented on how good the food was - some said it was the best they’ve ever had at a wedding!
The team at the wedding was professional and kind and responsive to our needs that evening.
We attended another function with food provided by Derek and the flavors were amazing. He has a fantastic new facility with his kitchen and tasting room - he’s offering catering to-go and cooking classes and more. Highly recommend Chef Derek for small or large catering needs.

Derek and his team were absolutely top notch. They were easy to work with and communicative. The food was out of this world. My guests kept raving about it!! They also prepared us breakfast casseroles to heat up for the next days brunch and that was a huge crowd pleaser!! There were no leftovers! I would recommend working with Savory if you have the option to!!

We chose Derek for my daughter’s wedding after having a taco bar he had catered at another event. His team did an amazing job from the bartenders to the servers. Very professional and responsive during planning and I would use him again.

Chef and team were amazing! Their communication during the whole process put me at ease. He was also very flexible with menu changes leading up to the wedding and providing vegetarian meals.
Come day of his staff arrived on time and set up quickly! The food was amazing and everyone raved! Their staff was so friendly and professional.
We chose Savory because they were the only caterer we found that didn’t serve frozen food. The food was homemade and seasoned and just everything you’d want in a meal! The meatballs were my favorite!
I’d recommend for your future wedding or large event!

What a delight it was to work with Chef Derek and his crew! Our son recently got married on Friday and had the reception on Saturday. The majority of the guests stayed at the venue, what will they eat fir breakfast? SavorybyDDT provided a lovely, and yummy, brunch. The set-up was lovely and the crew were friendly and helpful!

All communication with Chef Derek was professional and easy. He always responded promptly as we planned our menu. Could not be happier with the menu we with created. Everything was delicious from the main course to the yummy banana pudding. Order more macaroni and cheese because it’s going to go fast! The servers were so professional and artfully arranged the food for my guests. They cleaned everything up, boxed up any leftovers and put them in the refrigerator. So nice after the party that this was all done for me! Highly recommend Savory by DDT. They will hopefully be available to cater my next event!

Great experience working with Chef Derek and his Savory Team. We had a plated style wedding and his team did a great job. The food was amazing! We had halibut and vegetable risotto. I would definitely recommend them for your wedding.

While I have not used Savory by DDT. I was invited to an event food was amazing! At the time I didn’t have a wedding planned nor an event to cater so I inquired about private chef options. And can I just say it was sooo good! We really enjoyed it. The staff is so kind and very personable. Chef Derek cared about our preferences and how we felt about the experience afterwards. I’m glad to see Savory by DDT on “The Knot”. Waiting to see if they’re available for my date! Definitely worth it based on my previous experience!
