bove and beyond for them. I chose not to hire a wedding coordinator for our wedding, but between Anne and the DJ day of and my wonderful bridesmaids, I didn't need one! Anne took the time to really walk me through plans, contingency plans (which did have to be used due to weather and the wedding still was PERFECT), vendor options in the area, and helped with difficult vendors and finding additional vendor options that weren't on her original list as well. She allowed us to use decorations that she had available at the venue at no additional charge, she had tablecloths for us to rent, and the bar was amazing. We even made a last minute request to see if they could get a bottle of Becherovka to make the Be-ton drink as the groom's signature drink, and I'm pretty sure Andy searched until he found the very last bottle in the state of Missouri. The Savoy is worth every penny and more because it's not just a location to have your wedding at, it's a place where you can have peace of mind and watch your vision come to life. door ceremony, moving inside does not disappoint. Out of all the places we visited for our wedding venue, the Savoy stood far above them all. Anne and Andy were excellent from the first day we met them. Every email and text were answered quickly. I knew I could call and visit them any time. Out of all our wedding vendors, they made everything involved with the Savoy worry free. Anne and Andy helped with every detail we needed from them. The day of our wedding they were there for set up, all through the ceremony and reception......and even helped us clean up!! By the time our wedding was over, we felt like we had two new friends. We never worried about anything at the Savoy. They are very professional, yet completely approachable and comfortable. Their staff is amazing and they all worked well with our DJ and caterer. We had a little glitch with the DJ sound system. Anne and Andy helped fix the issue and the party went on! We are so happy that we chose the Savoy for our wedding. Our guests thought it was the most beautiful venue they have been to locally. The Savoy is well worth a visit when deciding where to celebrate one of the biggest moments in your life.

The owners are such a joy to work with and are so accommodating with things like furniture to set up to floor plans and budget, and so helpful if you need a list of vendors to work with for your big day or event. We had our wedding here in March. It was so perfect in every way. We had so much fun and this will forever be a place that we will have such sweet memories to hold because of how well they took care of us and our event. Excellent, Excellent service and outstanding place. Whether you're from Missouri or not, this is a perfect place to book. We came from California to have our wedding here. the crystal chandeliers, the hardwood floors, and the gorgeous tin ceiling. But the display windows from when the building was a department store truly took our breath away – mirrored, and the perfect place to hold some of the Savoy’s gorgeous furniture for gifts (including an historic church pew), welcome bags, and our cake. The ballroom was exactly what we picture for our 1920s vision. Anne and Andy’s eclectic collection of décor that is available for use took brought our vision to life – mixing Gatsby with Beauty and the Beast with the use of a plethora of votive holders and the most stunning candelabras I have ever seen. All of this, combined with the modern bathrooms and well-equipped HVAC, would have been enough. But then we saw the courtyard.
The outside is simple, elegant, and perfect for any ceremony. The pergola covered in our flowers transported us to a ceremony that was a dream come true. The bridal suite set up was perfect for us, and made our day so much easier to have everything all in one place. Anne and Andy have everything you need to make this your dream event. They did for us.

half day is about the same as a full day anywhere else in the area. Take my advice, a half day is NOT enough time. I felt rushed the whole time. Also, when you have a bar you pay $225 for the bartenders and if you host, 25% of you hosted bar tab goes to the bartenders too. I use to do catering and I WISH our company paid us like that! It was the best day of my life!!! The husband and wife that own it are friendly; they even gave us a nice gift at the end :)

Andy met with both me and my dad and me and my fiance multiple times to get us prepared for our dances on the big day. Andy was kind, easy to understand, and made something that makes some people uncomfortable, completely fun! He even let us stay a bit longer than our schedules time to keep practicing! entire process of choosing a location, to popping in from time to time just to look at the venue and brainstorm ideas for the big day, to the day of, we were so supported by the staff! They were available for questions and were flexible with ideas we had for our wedding along the way. This is a great venue for outdoor/indoor weddings as well as small and large guest lists. The audio system they have is amazing and having a June wedding was no issue heat wise with their great cooling system (something you have to think about in the summer!)
