I'm Kyna, prounounced like Tina but with a K. :D I will answer to anything though LOL! I created Sawyer Creek because I LOVE people and I LOVE, LOVE. I am the kind of photographer who will do anything to make your wedding the day of your dreams. I have helped with hair and makeup, put boquets together an hour before the ceremony, asked Aunts or Uncles to please get out of the aisle and put their ipads down during the ceremony(hahahaha), cleared reception tables so the first dance can start on time and more. I am part of your team, one of your besties the day of the wedding and hopefully for years to come!

ence with Kyna from start to finish was nothing less than stellar! Our mini-engagement shoot was a great introduction to her friendliness, professionalism, and style. Neither of us are the type of person who feels comfortable in front of the camera, but Kyna's bubbly personality immediately made us feel at ease. She is so efficient and good at what she does that we never felt like we were awkwardly holding poses for too long or feeling unsure of what we were supposed to be doing.
Fast forward to our wedding planning time--Kyna was absolutely vital in helping us come up with a good timeline for our day. Her experience with so many weddings showed through in her suggestions for when things should happen at each point of the day. And fast forward again to the day of the wedding, our timeline was spot-on!
Just like our engagement session, Kyna was an absolute ROCK STAR the day of the wedding. It was a super windy day, but she did an excellent job finding places for us to still get photos outside without getting too windblown--which we really appreciated because our venue had SO many fun, unique areas for outdoor photos! And when it came to extended family photos, she expertly "herded the cats" so to speak and got everybody coordinated very quickly. Her ability to bustle around and be exactly where we needed her was nothing short of amazing! We are so, so grateful for her incredible work!

y great at directing my husband and me in our photos. We did an engagement shoot with Rick first and it was so fun! Neither of us had ever done a professional shoot before so Rick was excellent at telling us what to do and giving us some ideas. The photos were edited beautifully and delivered to us in a timely manner. Before our wedding, we worked out the photo timeline and got organized so we both felt prepared for the wedding day. The day of the wedding went very smoothly and Rick was awesome! My hair ran a little later than expected and Rick was so kind and calming when I was nervous about the timeline. He was so my bridal party had so much fun with him and when my husband and I did individual pictures with him he kept it light hatred and told us some hilarious stories! Rick is so personable and professional. We are still waiting for our pictures to be edited but we did get to see our sneak peak and I can not wait to see the rest of them! Kyna is super easy to work with and fast to respond. Kyna and Chris are funny and lighten everyone up! Kyna goes out of her way to make sure your photography goes well. For example, for someone who is afraid of wasps (me), Kyna literally picked up a wasp by its wing to remove it from the area before we started photos (twice). Day of she was really accommodating to changes in plans, random pictures I wanted here and there throughout the event, and was super efficient and effective with the time we had together.
We've shown our complete album to a variety of people already and some of the most consistent feedback we get is surprise at the amount of pictures and also praise for the quality.
All in all, feel incredibly lucky to have found Sawyer Creek Photography and wholeheartedly recommend their services.

He helped us get a good variety of pictures, and we're pleased with the pictures we got. 5 hours ended up being the perfect amount of time for our pre ceremony pictures, ceremony, and reception from the dinner through the first dances. When we decided on the Orchid Collection, Kyna let us know we could wait to decide if we wanted to add on extra hours until closer to the wedding. Though we ended up not needing to, we really appreciated the flexibility. Overall, we loved working with Kyna and Chris and love the photos we have commemorating our special day!
