l was thoughtfully executed, and it was clear how much care went into making the property feel both beautiful and welcoming. The staff went above and beyond from start to finish—professional, kind, and so attentive to our needs. Their behind-the-scenes coordination ensured everything ran smoothly, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment. We are so thankful for their hard work and hospitality—it truly made our wedding weekend one we’ll treasure forever. If you’re considering this venue, don’t hesitate. It’s everything you could dream of and more!

r, what first song I’d dance to. When I did finally fall in love with a man I was excited to spend my life with, I practically begged for an elopement. It was out of my love for him and the love for our families that I relented for a proper wedding. I knew the entire time I’d hate the process, as I’ve never been a great planner, and I was correct. I hated finding vendors, I hated having to leave my hair and makeup to a stranger, hated leaving everyone to just show up on the day I expected them, and basically hated being out of control of a day where I had to shepherd 100 people. To talk about the financing of it all still leaves me green in the face. Safe to say, I was barely excited for my own wedding day. Until I visited Chimney Pond Farm. I’m not going to wax poetic about the beauty of the venue, that’s easily deduced from photos and the fortunate who are able to see it in person. Instead, I’m going to review their team. I was handed off a few times during my experience with them, but in a way that was exceedingly natural. I chose CPF because they promised a designated representative through planning and as a day of coordinator, and she never once failed me. Brooke Robinson supported my entire time planning my wedding. She never made me feel discouraged when my own life took precedence over planning. I went through several major life events in the five months leading up to my wedding, and I was… pretty far off course from any “checklist” Pinterest decided to spit at me. I came to her several times in near tears from the anxiety of the upcoming day and each and every time she encouraged me with where I was and gave me feasible steps to take. Her compassion, humor and competency was a godsend. She balanced utmost professionalism with form of empathy that I would only wish everyone else planning a major event gets to experience. She never showed an ounce of stress to me, planning and on the day of, to the point that I was basically uninvolved on my wedding day up until I walked down the aisle. She coordinated the band (Emerald Empire shout out), catering (Sage and spice— nothing but raves), cake (Gateaux cake. First time I’ve seen all desserts gone at a function until mine!), and so much more. I may have been the bride, but she was the star of the show in my eyes. She clearly was working with a team I didn’t get to spend time with personally, but suffice to say they all knew exactly what they were doing. I especially want to take time to thank Jared who helps run the farm but also was our bartender!! Our guests loved him and his team as well and he was exceedingly kind to work with. Giving CPF a 5/5 doesn’t feel like enough justice, but it’s all I’m eligible to give. (P.s. they were even kind to me the day after my wedding, when I had accidentally left my WEDDING DRESS of all things at the house we rented 🫠 type B doesn’t even begin to describe me)

Most of our family stayed on the property for the weekend, and we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and serene experience. Despite the nearby communities of Western North Carolina recently facing devastation from Hurricane Helene, everyone we encountered was incredibly welcoming and gracious, making us feel truly embraced. We’re continuing to keep them in our prayers, hoping for a swift recovery and a return to normalcy. Chimney Pond Farm is truly a gem nestled in the mountains. Although the photos are stunning, they don’t fully capture the magic of this place—you have to experience it in person. Our guests were captivated not only by the venue but also by the charm of the surrounding area, filled with great restaurants and activities. Many of them fell in love with the town, and we now feel it has become an extension of our home. Even from South Florida, planning our wedding was a breeze, thanks to the amazing support we received. Raquel and Brooke made the process seamless, giving us peace of mind and making wedding planning a joyful experience. We cannot thank them and the entire team enough. We’re already looking forward to returning to this piece of mountain paradise. Thank you!
