Danielle, our wedding coordinator, was truly exceptional. Her guidance and support began long before our wedding day and carried seamlessly through every moment of the event. She was organized, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect.
I truly don’t think the day would’ve went as effortlessly without her.
My mother passed shortly before our wedding and every staff member carried my partner and I through this time in such a genuine grace.
Support and generosity like that is truly difficult to find these days.

Dj Ricky was phenomenal! He’s the kind of guy you can’t go without!
As a last minute gesture to my partner and I, he stepped in as our officiant. We’re forever grateful for him & his genuine support for my partner and I.

Cupcake heaven did the cupcakes and beautiful 3 tiers cake…. I can’t say enough about them. My son and daughter in law wanted a naked cake to go with the rustic theme and it did not disappoint! The cupcakes were not only beautiful but they were delicious too!
Shawna was our photographer for the day and she made sure to capture every single moment of the day and made sure to stay on time to get the bride and groom inside to enjoy the day. She is creative, professional and fun to work with to get the perfect images.
The guests also raved about the food. Everyone said it was delicious and loved all of it!

You can have your ceremony on the manor house lawn with cocktails and reception in our elegant, glass Garden Room. Our Barn venue is set on 12 wooded acres. Your ceremony takes place under a majestic oak with cocktails and reception in the Barn. We also offer our Boho venue, which is a smaller, more intimate wedding venue that accommodates up to 55 guests!

From the moment your families arrived, there was a feeling that stayed with us the entire evening — it truly never felt like two separate families coming together, it felt like one united family celebrating something beautiful. Watching everyone interact, laugh, hug, and support one another created such a warm atmosphere, and your son and daughter-in-law were surrounded by so much genuine love all night long.
One of the moments that stayed with our staff the most was seeing you dance with your son, and then sharing that dance with your husband as well. Those were the kinds of moments that quietly stop time. I can tell you honestly — there were several of us behind the scenes peeking from a distance to catch those memories unfolding (while very carefully staying out of the photographers’ frames, of course!). It was emotional, beautiful, and a reminder of exactly why we all care so deeply about what we do.
And you are absolutely right — your future daughter-in-law completely stole the spotlight. She looked stunning, radiant, and so full of joy. Watching your son lift her, dip her, and hold her so proudly for those special photo moments was incredibly meaningful to witness. You could truly see how much he adores her and how naturally he supports her, and as a parent, those are the moments that stay with you for life.

Our wedding at Saxon Manor was beautiful, but it was unfortunately overshadowed by major catering issues and how the owner, Greg, handled them afterward.

important factors when choosing our venue. I specifically asked about older reviews mentioning poor food quality and was assured those issues were from years ago. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.
We attended two tastings. The first with the former chef was very disappointing, but the venue encouraged us to try again because a new chef would be taking over. The second tasting met our expectations, and I completed and emailed our finalized menu selections to the new chef and reconfirmed them again by email. Greg was aware of this because he helped me schedule the second tasting and checked to see how the tasting went.
At the wedding, the food served did not match the menu we selected and paid for. The salmon entrée and au gratin potatoes we ordered were never served. Instead we were given green beans (which we never selected and frankly tasted terrible) and a chicken entrée instead of the salmon.
There was also not enough food. The chicken satay appetizers ran out early, and many guests later told us they never received any. All of our guests had traveled from out of state to celebrate with us, and in our culture serving good food and plenty of it is extremely important. This was humiliating for us as hosts. Guests also told us they felt uncomfortable asking for more food because staff seemed reluctant to provide additional servings.
To their credit, Danielle and the evening manager Nick were very apologetic the night of the wedding and acknowledged the mistake.
After the wedding, Greg explained that our finalized menu had never been placed in the event file and staff instead used an earlier incomplete form meant for 40 guests, even though our confirmed count was 75 guests. This likely explains why food ran out.
However, when my mother tried to discuss the issue with Greg, he became hostile and accused her of “playing him” simply for pointing out that serving the wrong menu was a breach of contract. The call became so unpleasant that she ended it and requested all further communication be in writing.
She followed up by email requesting compensation for the catering errors. It has now been three months and Greg has never responded. The way this was handled afterward was honestly worse than the mistake itself. Mistakes can happen, but the response we received was rude and dismissive, rather than apologetic or solution-oriented.
The venue itself is beautiful, but the food failures and the owner’s response afterward left a very disappointing final impression. I’m sharing this so future couples are aware — if something goes wrong, it does not appear Saxon Manor will take accountability.

nce with Saxon Manor. We sincerely apologize for the mistake made during your event. During a transition between chefs, the incorrect protein was prepared, and we take full responsibility for this oversight.
Following your event, we conducted a thorough internal review to understand where the breakdown occurred. We discovered that the updated menu from your second tasting had been sent to an individual who was not officially employed with Saxon Manor at the time. As a result, the change from chicken to salmon was unfortunately not reflected in our final preparations.
While we deeply regret that this error occurred, please know that we have taken steps to ensure improved communication and processes moving forward to prevent anything like this from happening again. We understand how important every detail is on such a special day, and we are truly sorry for any frustration or disappointment this caused.
It is our sincere hope that this issue did not overshadow the many positive moments of your wedding day. We take great pride in creating meaningful and memorable experiences for our couples.
We also want to respectfully acknowledge your continued feedback across multiple platforms. The entire team on the wedding day and during the rehearsal dinner was phenomenal. Huge shout-outs to Nick, April, Maria, and Diane, who genuinely went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. Their professionalism, kindness, and calm presence made such a difference and allowed us to fully enjoy our wedding without stress.
We also cannot say enough great things about the preferred vendors we selected through Saxon Manor. The DJ and photographer included in the package were superb, and our makeup artist was equally amazing. Every vendor was talented, organized, and wonderful to work with — we were thrilled with all of them.
That said, I want to be transparent that this five-star review is in spite of our experience with Crystal. Unfortunately, she made the planning process extremely stressful. Communication was very poor, responses were delayed or nonexistent, and her interactions often felt unprofessional. Because of this, I strongly recommend choosing any florist other than Enchanted (part of Saxon) so you can avoid having to communicate with her altogether.
Nick provided excellent floral recommendations, and we ultimately went with Huf Floral, who was absolutely incredible — we couldn’t recommend her more.
Despite that challenging portion of planning, our wedding day itself was exceptional. The venue is beautiful, the staff truly cares, and when you are supported by the right people, Saxon Manor delivers an unforgettable experience. We are so grateful to the team who made our wedding such a joyful, seamless, and memorable celebration.

Starting with the tour and working with Crystal, she was so sweet and patient with all of our questions!
For the Planning, Danielle listened and understood our vision. Showing me all the options and being willing to change anything at the drop of a hat!
The Food! Oooh the food! Anthony is a true rockstar and everyone could not stop raving about the Brisket, Steak, meatballs, Carolina BBQ sauce, Mac and Cheese!
Coordinator of the year should go to April! The flexibility and support this woman shown was stellar! She kept us on time and cool, calm and collected even though we were crazy she brought the tranquility to the day! She was there to get us water always asking if she could do anything for us! Made our plates and packed to-goes! All our extra things were placed with care!
Ms lady Diedra, was not only our photographer but our confidence booster and even a 1000 button buttoner! Getting to see sneak peaks of the images, easy direction for getting into the beautiful poses. She is a true Artist!
As for DJs, DJ Chad is all the vibe. He understood the assignment and he gets an A++ from us! He kept our vision for a classy 1960s love songs for the cocktail hour and dinner. But turned up the heat and pumped the party and had everyone enjoy the dance floor!
Diane had the best spunky personality. She was an amazing bar tender, all my guests and myself loved the interactions with her!
We wanted the perfect day and Saxon Manor Events and all the staff and vendors made sure it was nothing less! Thank you all! We already plan to do our 10 year anniversary with you all! I will add more photos as soon as I get my hands on them.

She really went above and beyond to make our day perfect. We honestly couldn’t be more thankful for her help. The venue itself is gorgeous! We got married in the barn which was so beautiful. From the ceremony area to the inside of the barn it was everything we had hoped it would be and more. Our friends and family also really enjoyed the venue and have not stopped telling us how beautiful everything was. All of the vendors we picked out from their list were also amazing. We honestly couldn’t recommend this venue enough. You defined won’t regret having your wedding here

welcoming and easy to communicate with up until wedding day. We did book our wedding very early and unfortunately our initial DJ was no long available. Saxon Manor made sure to find us a replacement and Rhythm Makers DJ still did an amazing job on such short notice. Linda was my coordinator and she was absolutely AMAZING! She made my wedding day run perfectly and was always one step ahead. She was available throughout the day and helped with all of our design meetings as well. The day ran so smoothly. The food (Catering by Greg) and our cake were so delicious. We just cut into our wedding cake from Amy’s Creative Cakes on our 1yr anniversary and it was just as fresh and delicious as wedding day. I would highly recommend this venue for any potential bride looking for an all inclusive seamless wedding!

food, decor, atmosphere, etc. their flower shop is so great and my boutique was absolutely stunning. our wedding coordinator Lisa was honestly amazing and made me feel like a stress free princess. for the price and how absolutely beautiful it is and you don't have to book different vendors soooo worth it. I highly recommend and will be back for any event I need to host in the future.

erday July 23rd. I learned about the venues through one of the bridal shows, and I'm so so glad I found them!! We used the barn venue space, but the garden is also beautiful. The outside space for the ceremony underneath the greenery Arch, the paved pathway all the way from the barn to the ceremony space, the bench seating outside, and all of the shade made the ceremony exactly what I wanted! The barn is positively stunning, and something truly from a dream.
My coordinator was Danielle and she was absolutely TBE BEST person for the job! From the tour (that she gave us) All the way through to the end of the wedding night She knew exactly what she was doing! There was never any doubt in my mind that the vision that I had and that her and I created together would come to life on the wedding night.
We used all of the vendors that were provided through the all-inclusive package from Saxon Manor. Amy's creative cakes did our two-tier traditional flavor wedding cake and a total of 80 cupcakes with the flavors of Oreo, key lime, hummingbird, and more traditional (almond cake with a raspberry filling). Amazingly delicious!! My guests are still talking to me about it today. DJ Tony Sparks was who we used for our DJ and he absolutely nailed it! We could not have asked for a better DJ for the night. We aren't even a dancing crowd, I myself only know how to white girl dance lol, and he found ways to get my whole family and my husband's whole family on the dance floor! Shawna meadors was our photographer and she was amazing!! She made me feel so comfortable while taking pictures and even showed me a couple sneak peeks from her camera lens and the pictures are going to be phenomenal!!

usiness ethics and public professionalism. 😑
A hashtag was created for our guests to upload photos from our big day and many tagged Saxon Manor as a location in doing so and NONE OF THEM have been shared on Saxon’s Facebook home page. Plus, THEIR PHOTOGRAPHER posted and tagged photos along with several posts tagging Saxon, including a beautifully done video teaser and TONS of photos. NONE OF IT is there.
We see photos from several straight weddings posted, even on the same day as ours, but Saxon has apparently chosen NOT to use our incredible gay wedding as an example for their business.
When we inquired why this has occurred, the manager/owner told our coordinator to tell us “I’m not feeling well and we don’t post everything on every wedding.” 🙄
We find this communication or “explanation” unacceptable, offensive and discriminatory as we see only straight weddings on their page. So either you agree to host gay weddings and then give approval to share everything or you make a stand for bigotry if that’s your deal and live with those consequences. But don’t try to walk some little shady line in between.
At first sight, we knew Saxon was the perfect place for us to get married. It is a well thought out venue, offering a variety of options, not only from a style perspective, but when it comes to designing details. It is a unique venue, offering a helpful one-stop-shop package. While we did bring in many additional components to elevate our wedding, what Saxon offered gave us an incredible baseline to start. We enjoyed the process of designing the cake, tasting the food and watching it come together so quickly.
We had a small window of time to put a pretty complex wedding together. It wasn’t without the true professionalism and expertise of Linda, that we could have pulled it off. From the minute we met her, we clicked! She’s all about making your vision a reality and worked both tirelessly and effortlessly to make sure what we wanted came to fruition. All with 6 photographers and 3 videographers working in the background. Linda connected, listened, researched and executed this wedding with a million moving parts in a way that is unexplainable.
Our wedding involved a live butterfly release, live music and singing, several timed tracks to fog and spark effects, the coordination of a 7-foot drag queen’s four costume changes and live performances and so much more! She and her assistant Amy did it with such ease and professionalism, never breaking a sweat and always in control. She is a hugely valuable asset to the Saxon Manor staff and should be applauded for what she did to make our day both fun and flawless. I don’t think you can request a coordinator, say prayers that you get Linda as your person. She’s a dream!
Regardless of this business not acting professionally or ethically by gratefully posting our wedding on their Facebook page as they have others, we know our guests had a blast and we celebrated our love in a way we never thought possible.

ther. Once we were assigned our coordinator and was able to meet and talk with her my mind was at ease. We were assigned to Linda, Linda was perfect. Linda did an amazing Job she is amazing at her job. I am so happy she got stuck with us! She handled all the stress that come with planning a wedding so I didn’t have to. She communicated with the vendors for me from DJ to limo.
I do not think it would have turned out the way I envisioned with any other person! Linda is the reason I am so happy how everything turned out.
I highly recommend Linda!! She is the best, all the weddings I seen on social media that she was part of hands down has been the best ones!

All the staff at Saxon Manor work very hard to make your day turn out the way that you envisioned , we had twelve staff members that helped assist Linda your ( Day of Coordinator ) with decorating & working your beautiful wedding. Again we ALL work very hard at Saxon Manor to make our brides happy.

Amy’s Creative Cakes, Shawna Meadors Photography, DJ Tony Sparks, Sherwood Florist, and Catering by Greg all made our wedding more than perfect. I am still getting compliments on every aspect of my wedding. Linda, my coordinator, was on top of everything. From our final design till the time our wedding day was over, she was making sure my husband and I, along with our families and bridal party, had everything we needed. The only suggestion as far as the venue goes is to incorporate some outdoor fans under the covered dance floor outside. It was a very hot day/night for us, but we enjoyed every minute of it! Anytime there was an hurdle (delays and last minute unplanned changes caused by weather) she readjusted our time line to accommodate and capture ever peice of our day to make it perfect. Jennifer fixed any flaws almost instantly. The vendors worked extremely well together and communicated when needed. It definitely helped utilizing all of the in house vendors. a few other venues, but I had that *magical* moment when I saw the oak tree ceremony site. I was pleasantly surprised with the updated they did to the barn in time for my wedding! They were extremely accommodating, as I wanted my guests to feel safe during COVID and they seamlessly moved everything outside for me - and it was absolutely gorgeous! My guests are still talking the food and mainly the mac and cheese! Linda was my coordinator and she was the best I could have asked for! She made sure ryan and I were happy and taken care of for every second. We can honestly say that not a single thing went wrong on the day of our wedding - most of that is thanks to Saxon!

She was great to work with and so accommodating of all of my special requests like bringing my horse to the wedding. The entire staff at Saxon took all of the stress out of the big day and it couldn’t have gone better. The food was the best wedding food we have ever had (catering by Greg), the wedding cake was amazing (cakes by Amy), and DJ Tony Sparks kept the party going! The venue was gorgeous- our guests described it as fairy tale, stunning, and beautiful. as nothing short of absolute perfection. The vendors they use are top notch, from the photographer to the DJ everyone worked together flawlessly. Their all inclusive package took so much stress away from my husband and I. Our only complaints are that the groom’s suite in the barn is severely lacking. We were lucky that there wasn’t another wedding the night of ours and my husband could utilize the groom’s suite for the garden room. I would also suggest that the coordinator be assigned from the beginning. We would have loved to have been in contact with Linda from day 1.

Everything turned out exactly how she wanted it and to say it was her dream wedding is a vast understatement. Every detail was exactly as she had planned. The grounds looked pristine and made our photos come out amazing. They made everything so easy for us, all we had to do was show up and enjoy every last second of our special day. They know exactly what they are doing and were a well oiled machine, everything went perfectly. It truly has a wow factor and looked as though we spent 5 times more on our wedding than we actually did. 18 and everything went smoothly. Saxon Manor was very accommodating with what I needed and I was able to meet with Dorothea and other vendors on my schedule, which was important to me because I do not live in Brooksville and my Husband was not in the state. They were able to accommodate all of my needs. Any time I called they answered my call or email in a timely fashion. Ginger ended up being my wedding coordinator and did a great job making sure everything ran smoothly and that I got everything that I wanted. They even ordered more table cloths and flowers for the décor. Fast forward to wedding day and everything went very well, all of the guests had a good time to my knowledge. It started pouring about an hour before my ceremony and what could have been a chaotic event was handed smoothly and I was still able to get married outside at their ceremony site. The only thing that could be improved is having more doors or privacy in the bridal suite as it is very open and made it difficult for me to put on my dress undisturbed. Other than that, I could not be happier with my Saxon Manor wedding.

and made sure we had everything perfect on our big day! We were nervous with our guest listing ending with 45 people in barn made for twice the amount, but the staff made it look full. The all inclusive vendor selection was also nice, we were pretty pleased with each one we chose. The owner Dorothea shyed us away from some of our original vendor picks even though they are on her list, however she did work with us when we had a few complaints. We received compliments for several days after our wedding on how beautiful everything looked, how surprised people were when they saw our “barn” wedding, and how much fun they had. I would recommend saxon manor to anyone getting married looking for an outdoor venue.

wesome reception inside the Garden Room. Everything was beautiful and above expectations. Not only was my family amazed by it all, all of the guests raved about the venue, the staff, the food and the ambiance. Every detail was taken care of and the staff saw to all of our needs, from getting us appetizers/drinks while we took photos, to placing purses by the seats and even fetching and storing shoes from the bridal suite. We were waited on hand and foot! (literally)
All of this magic started before the big day. During the planning process both Dorothea and Angela were available to answer questions, address concerns and make fabulous recommendations. They took all of the guess work out of planning such an event and allowed us to enjoy it instead of stress over it.
If you are looking for a stress-free event, then look no further. This is your place. It's worth the drive!
