Outside of her wedding work, Betsy also writes music and lyrics for children's musicals.

I can’t recommend Betsy enough. We spoke with a number of officiants during our planning process, and Betsy’s warmth, kindness, and guidance through the process (even prior to booking) immediately made her stand out. She made herself available for calls any and every time we needed, offered a tremendous amount of flexibility for our logistically complex wedding, and brought an engaging presence to our ceremony.
During the planning process, she began by walking us through the various ceremony styles and options, then drafted a beautiful, customized ceremony script based on our requests and personal information provided through an easy questionnaire. She then collaborated with us on a number of revisions to perfect the ceremony. On the day of the wedding, she was a calming and reassuring presence. She happily pitched in with our team of vendors to ensure our day went smoothly, even in areas that weren’t strictly in her scope - like taking pictures of signing our marriage license when our photographer was pulled away. Her husband Bill also offered beautiful music and sound set up for us. The Say I Do team is excellent and helped make our day so special.
Betsy was an angel to work with - she was professional, informative, and caring. She happily accepted the small tweaks we provided for the beautiful ceremony she wrote and helped us through the license process. During the ceremony, her presence was calming yet bright. She helped make our day perfect! Highly recommend.
Earlier this year, I started looking for an officiant to conduct a vow renewal. I am not from the area, so I did some research on the internet and came upon Betsy. I knew from the moment I read her profile, I wanted her to conduct our renewal. She is extremely responsive and such a pleasure to work with. Several months prior to the renewal, she sent me a questionnaire to complete. After I sent her the completed questionnaire, she wrote the most beautiful vows. Betsy arrived to our location early and spoke with us for a few minutes before the renewal. Everything was amazing. Her husband came and took some pictures too, which was a nice surprise. Betsy is upbeat and very passionate about what she does. We would not hesitate to recommend or use Betsy in the future. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful renewal.
Betsy was an absolute delight to work with on our July 5th wedding. She was highly responsive via email and crafted a ceremony that perfectly captured our vision. On the day of the event, she delivered it beautifully. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant. Our friends were impressed by how thoughtful the ceremony was. can't say enough about Betsy. From start to finish she is not only the utmost professional but she is an absolute delight to work with. Every detail is taken into consideration with care and love to craft a personal unique experience to fit. We are an older couple and this was a second marriage for both of us and had a few requests that were a bit different about our ceremony. She easily accommodated us and helped to make our vision a reality. She set the tone for the whole event that flowed into the rest of the evening. Her words and the way that she lovingly guides the ceremony are exceptional. There were tears and laughter from all attending and I would say that this was the best part of the day. And that is saying a lot because our wedding was PERFECT. I've just watched the video of the ceremony and it was better than I could ever have imagined.
