Owner and licensed/ordained officiant Lois Meyer Bruno holds the realization of a couple's dream wedding day as her highest priority. She will work with you to create a personalized ceremony that reflects your unique love story. In addition to officiating your wedding, services include unlimited meetings with the two of you (typically via Zoom), a custom ceremony reflecting your preferences and personalities, and filing your marriage license via certified mail.
Creating a ceremony that reflects your preferences is a collaborative process. I offer couples unlimited time with me to ensure they have the ceremony of their dreams! I will arrive at your venue no later than one hour ahead of time to ensure all last-minute details are cared for. Following your ceremony, I securely file all marriage licenses via certified mail.

His example has been the standard in my wedding preparations. My degree in Communications, with an emphasis on Public Speaking, is also invaluable for my role as your Wedding Officiant.
When I am not meeting new couples and writing wedding ceremonies, I love to spend time with my three children and our two cats, Lucy and Ethel!

When I saw the first draft I literally cried-she had managed to tie in an element that was an inside connection between my fiance and I, and as I kept reading I felt an instant connection to her as a person, not only as our officiant 💕
Every question, request and opportunity to collaborate was taken seriously, and on our actual wedding day, she had the most calming and supportive presence which kept me calm in turn. Lois even went out of her way to attend a venue walkthrough and was constant running interference where we needed it. She was a huge part of why our wedding was so meaningful and magical. If you don’t choose Lois to officiate your event, you will be missing out. She makes me want to renew my vows every year just so I can hear her recite those beautiful words again! She is worth far more than 5 stars!!

After meeting with us and hearing about what we wanted, she drafted up a great ceremony that was exactly along the lines of what we were looking for and gave us a chance to personalize it a bit to make it perfect. ur family and photographer loved Lois. We had a very quick turnaround from when we first contacted Lois to when our actual wedding was and she was able to accommodate everything we asked and needed. We did things a bit untraditional as we had a small group of immediate family with us and it was an outdoor wedding on the lakeshore of Chicago in October. So it could have been a bit of a bad situation with weather or people out of our control. Everything went off without a hitch though and a lot of that was thanks to Lois. We highly recommend her if you are looking for a professional officiant that also feels like a part of the family and truly wants the best for you and your partner!

t's where my family resides now. We are having a big wedding still this fall, but I knew my grandparents wouldn't be able to make the trip for it. So, we had a private ceremony for them in IL, the day after Thanksgiving. Lois was so kind. She traveled 2 hours to my grandparents home. She kept in contact the whole time, and was super understanding and accommodating. The vows she wrote for us were perfect. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly, highly recommend.

fortable and excited to have her perform our ceremony. We met with her over zoom where she got to know us and our family and was able to put together a ceremony that was everything we wanted. She arrived on the day of with extra time to meet us and give me some encouraging, calming words to soothe my jitters. Our guests were impressed with how perfectly everything went from start to finish. I highly recommend Lois and am thankful for having her be a part of our big day.
