I have never been so surprised at how terrible customer service is from a private baker. I was trying to schedule a tasting but needed a particular week that was a few days out from 1 year before my wedding date. Well their policy is 1 year out or they will not work with you. Such a ridiculous policy considering we just wanted to taste the cake, not even book. They of course offered to take my non-refundable deposit in advance and have me try later but how does that help if we don't like the cake. Not only would I be out the charge for the tasting but I would also lose my deposit. I don't get why you would not be flexible with customers especially when you consider the amount of money you are about to drop in buying a cake. They did not give a good impression of someone we would like to work with, especially if this is how they will treat customers. What if something went wrong, would they be willing to fix it then, no clue. Needless to say we are looking elsewhere.

I cannot say enough how AMAZING of a job Say it With Sugar did for my husband and I's wedding cakes!!! They were not only beautiful, but delicious!! Our wedding cake and groom's cake was everything we could have asked for and more! They were awesome to work with and super helpful and creative in helping to design my husband's grooms cake! They helped make everything he likes fit into a single cake that we will remember forever! They were also prompt and professional! We still get compliments to this day on both of our cakes! Highly recommend them for every special occasion! Cannot wait to use them again!

I used to think that this place was the go to place but when it comes down to making sure their customers are taken care of they completely drop the ball. We have ordered multiple items from here in the past and both times that we have ordered cakes they both have shifted by the time they got the the destination. The first time it was for our wedding that was delivered by y'all and the most recent time was my daughters 1st birthday over the weekend that my wife brought home. Just the same I spoke to Trey 6/19 as there was no one to help me Saturday or Sunday and as a manager he is not very capable of conflict resolution and definitely forgot that he is in a customer service business. I am truly glad that the Kroger bakery in Rockwall could help us out on such a short notice to still get a unicorn smash cake for my daughters birthday party. Here you'll see our wedding cake at an obvious tilt. This was the one they delivered. We honestly thought it had to be a fluke. And then the unicorn smash cake that completely separated from the bottom inch of cake and melted down into itself during the 32 minute drive home on a flat surface with AC blasting on the coldest setting. But as Trey says, both of these are clearly our (the customers') fault. Seems logical.

Our wedding cake was AMAZING! It tasted soooooo good, making my soul very, very happy. The flavors we picked were carrot and strawberry for the bridal cake, and german chocolate for the groom's cake and all three flavors were the bomb. Not only that (which to me is the only thing that matters about cake) but they came out perfectly, presentation-wise. They were very flexible regarding our design for both cakes, even when we would call (a good few times) to change something. Overall, definitely recommend, whether its for a wedding or another special event, they do it all.
