Wow! What an amazing wedding planner! We knew Melissa was going to be a great fit for us from Day 1. We could feel her passion for wedding planning and making sure we had the per...
fect wedding day. We ended up getting the partial wedding planning package which was perfect for our needs. Leading up to the wedding, she guided us every step of the way offering great suggestions for vendors, actually listening to our thoughts about day, and making sure we stayed on track with securing everything as the wedding day approached. She was always available to answer questions day and night. She kept in constant communication making sure things went smoothly leading up to the day. Admittedly, we were a little slow with some decisions, but she was super patient with us and made sure nothing was missed!
The wedding day itself turned out perfect. We can't say enough about how attentive Melissa and her team were to every single detail. She managed all of the vendors and guests to the point where we didn't need to worry about anything. The whole day went perfectly according to the plan she had helped us put together. We were also really impressed with how personal she made the whole experience (Where are the Minions!? lol). Overall we had a wonderful experience with her and can't recommend her enought to any couple looking to get married that needs an outstanding wedding planner! Thanks Melissa!
We are so glad we hired SBM Event Co for their month of coordination. Melissa was very helpful and responsive and paired us with the perfect planner for us, Shelby. She was always ...
available if we needed her, and was instrumental in making sure everything stayed on time and running smoothly for our wedding. She has a great personality and knew when to step in without being overbearing. She even took a flock of ducks to the face to help us get a picture with the ducks! We can't recommend Melissa and Shelby enough!
We moved across the country from our venue in Hudson right before the pandemic shutdown and needed someone 'on the ground' to help us plan from afar. Melissa was that and more! She...
helped us vet vendors, found us a wonderful florist, and worked with an independent artist to create cohesive paper goods from invitation to menu cards to the seating chart. As a couple, we didn't have specific ideas in mind when going into the wedding, but also had a clear sense of what we like and didn't like. Melissa did a great job bringing us options and then changing them based on our feedback. She was friends with our photographer as well and her staff and the photography staff all worked together seamlessly.
I would also be remiss if I didn't mention how she is great person on top of being a great planner. She talked us through the stressful parts of the wedding and supported us throughout our very long (12+ hour) wedding day. She really brings warmth and calm to the process - something I wasn't looking for, but was so thankful she had.
Melissa was fantastic - had familiarity with our venue, knew all the right local vendors, and was so easy to work with. She clearly cares very deeply about her clients and making s...
ure their weddings are not just wonderful, but also the right fit for each individual couple. We described our general vision for Melissa and she brought it to life, thinking of details we never would have imagined but that fit in perfectly with what we wanted - seeing the beautiful set up Melissa created for our reception dinner was a huge highlight of the day! Melissa also struck the perfect balance on our wedding day of always being available whenever we needed anything, while giving us space to enjoy our time with friends and family. She really was so wonderful and helped our day be completely stress free, allowing us to just focus on each other and our guests. Would highly recommend Melissa!
Melissa Brown of SBM Event Company was invaluable. Our daughter’s wedding was originally to be a large affair at the Hall of Springs in Saratoga on May 15, 2021. Due to the Covid...
Climate Melissa helped us through the decision to instead have a 60 person Backyard Reception at our home. This allowed The Bride and Groom to be married as planned on their original Wedding date.
Melissa together with our vendors created a magical Event Venue in our backyard. A clear top tent with full floor and fairy lights, a champagne wall, an exceptional lay-out of head and guest tables and clusters of couch and chair seating under the tent.
It was truly a Garden setting that made my daughter’s wedding day more special than she could have imagined. Melissa’s attention to detail was magnificent! She has quite a gift!
Working with SBM was an absolute dream! Melissa is a rockstar. She did an incredible job designing and bringing our wedding day vision to life - I was truly speechless when I saw o...
