Many customers ask us, “Why do you use sheep’s milk instead of other milk like goat's milk?”. Sheep’s milk is one of the most nutrient-rich milk available today! By comparison, sheep’s milk typically contains a 7% fat content and 6% protein and is rich in amino acids, vitamins, and minerals. Due to this rich ingredient, sheep’s milk, when used in a skincare product, can moisturize your skin, brighten its appearance, reduce redness and inflammation, and protect and repair your skin. Moisturizing Formula Our sheep’s milk soap moisturizes your skin due to the high amount of healthy fats contained in the milk; which can help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on a person's face! We combine our sheep milk with olive oil in our soaps as olive oil is a known “emollient” that helps to trap moisture in your skin, retaining the vitamin-rich moisture of the sheep’s milk. To help reinforce this rich moisture content of sheep’s milk, we also add coconut oil as an additional ingredient that helps hydrate your skin and provides another defensive barrier to help retain moisture on your skin! Long story short, your skin will not feel dry after using our product!! Brightening Formula Sheep’s milk is rich in lactic and alpha-hydroxy acids, known as natural skin exfoliants. We combine this with all-natural oat bran in our soaps to help provide an enhanced and gentle exfoliation experience to remove old and dead skin cells. Our product does not contain plastic beads or ingredients that will negatively impact your health or plumbing! Reducing Redness and Inflammation The antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties of sheep’s milk help reduce redness and breakouts on an individual's skin. Protecting and Repairing Your Skin With the high concentration of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and Vitamin E found in sheep’s milk, we enhance our soap formula with the Vitamin E found in olive oil and our secret weapon, Mango Butter! We use mango butter with our sheep milk soaps as it is rich in OMEGA-9, Stearic Acid, Palmitic Acid, OMEGA-6, Vitamin-F, Arachidic Acid, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and Vitamin-E again! We add Vitamin E-rich ingredients into our soaps as Vitamin E is known to help boost circulation, prevent moisture loss from your skin, and repair scarred and blemished skin.
