ke sure we got to see our day through everyone else's eyes and they did an amazing job at doing that. We loved our wedding day, but as the bride I was worried about how people would see our day, when Elli and Aaron sent our photos and videos back and I was able to watch them I fell in love with my wedding day all over again in such a different way. I couldn't have loved it more. Thankful for the entire scarlet oak team for everything they did leading up to our wedding and for the weeks after working on our gallery.

onally and looking back at it. We are sooo thankful that we decided to get it done. We did extensive research and ended up deciding to work with scarlet oak for the videography and that was one of the best choices we’ve ever made. Their team is incredibly relatable and professional. They are a blast to work with and do an amazing job at really capturing the day for you. The videos are about you and they are great about making sure things are natural and organic. They also have great addons like drones, 4k footage, doc edits (which we highly recommend) and zoom live streaming. We had a fairly small destination wedding and the zoom live stream really helped us include the family and friends that we originally couldn’t. Scarlet Oak was rock solid and we didn’t have to worry about them at all. They were able to deliver our videos within the timeframe they committed to. They are completely upfront about everything, expectations etc. Overall if you’re looking for a wonderful group of people that are able to deliver amazing results these guys are who you should hire. They also are competitive with their pricing and work well with other photographers if you decide to split between the two. Highly highly recommend!! the same vendor for both pictures and videos. It saved us SO much time on our wedding day, as they were synched with each other's visions and shots. We actually were able to enjoy our cocktail hour! They were also so creative- they were able to get shots of my husband and me on the chairlift down from our ceremony. Talk about going above and beyond! captured other aspects of the wedding so I wouldn't feel rushed. They had taking family photos down to a science, so that went very smoothly. In our pre-wedding call to make sure we were on the same page with everything, they made it a point to ask if there are any family issues to know beforehand. That was helpful because my parents are divorced and don't get along very well, but the team easily navigated that. I really liked that for certain photos/moments they helped pose us a bit. It was clear they were capturing every moment of the wedding, but in a very comfortable way where it felt natural to have them around. I loved my experience with Scarlet Oaks and highly recommend them!

I could see that he was present for each event but he was never too intrusive with the cameras etc. I would definitely hire Scarlet Oak again! They were/have been really easy to work with as well in regards to planning/choosing the right videography package.

we hired a family member to video our wedding because we could not afford a professional. However, as I was walking down the aisle, our family member accidently hit the mute button and we had NO SOUND of the entire event and he only captured one angle the entire time. I was devastated with the "homemade" video and have regretted that decision ever since. In hindsight, I would have traded fancy flowers and expensive food for a professional video of our special day. When we were planning the weddings for our sons, I shared my experience with both brides and convinced them that, in time, people will forget the food you served and the flowers will definitely wilt, but the videos that capture your event will be eternal and priceless; a family heirloom to be viewed for generations to come. It should NOT be an after-thought, but should be one of the first, and most important, budget items for your wedding. Choosing Scarlet Oaks Studios to capture your day will be one of the best decisions you will make. They will NOT disappoint. They will exceed your expectations on every level. We highly recommend Scarlet Oaks Studios.

r colors and editing are more natural, very clear and crisp. Amanda and Taylor did our initial consultation. Amanda did our photos for engagements, formals, and wedding day. Aaron was our wedding videographer and we had Dalton as an assistant for all three sessions. Scarlet Oak is very prompt with communication. Their website is super informative, be sure to check out the different packages they offer and know that that they are willing to customize things how you want them. They do a consultation to get to know you and your fiance and how you met, what your interests are to get an idea of who you are. They're knowledgeable about recommending places to do the engagement and formal pictures. They do a phone call about a week before the wedding to go over details and the group shots (which they have a handy list of commonly photographed groups in a sensible order to maximize photos and minimize the time it takes). They were great about working with the large height difference between me and my husband. We couldn't do some of the shots that they normally might do so we have several lifts and seated shots or shots where I'm sitting on a ledge so we are more even in height. They do the editing of the photos themselves and they offer stellar printing with their Entrada and Juniper rag paper (sorta like a cardboard paper--heavier weight). The quality of their prints will be better than those if you print them yourself at Walmart or Costco., which Scarlet Oak also does thinner more typical photo paper prints but I have only printed on the Entrada. They offer both matte and gloss prints as well as canvas. They shoot with two cameras, one to get close up details and the other to get full body shots. They house your photos on their server for a year. You get to download everything in both high resolution and low resolution (better for social media) (you can create a favorites list and share the online gallery with family and friends). All photos are edited for 8x10 size and when you order larger prints they go back and do some more editing so it looks the best it can at that size. Payment is super easy--they use Quick Books and it comes straight from your bank account. They're humans and they're professionals, so when you're making your big day plans, don't forget they need to eat (it's stated in their packages depending on the type you go with--we did full day photo and film) so when planning be sure to take that into account so they aren't eating when you want pictures taken. If you want both photos and video, I recommend going with Scarlet Oak for both since they're used to working together (you're not going to get awkward photos of the videographer in the shot because they're used to where each other will stand and what shots they will be getting) and the colors and finishing are going to look the same.

Planning a wedding is stressful, having a great photography team is something you shouldn’t be stressed about. Amanda and Aaron shot our wedding and worked with us. They were amazing!!!! Over-delivered is an understatement, they went above and beyond and captured all the small details and special moments. We are forever grateful. I would recommend this studio to anyone and everyone.

Tanner and Amanda were on top of every detail and made sure they captured every aspect of our special day. Wedding days are so busy that it's nearly impossible to take everything in (I didn't even know what my decorations looked like til I saw the footage!), so it's worth every penny to have them capture your wedding day for you. I still go back and look at my video and photos at least once a month to relive everything. Highly recommend!
