Elli and Aaron went above and beyond for us, not just on the day but the weeks leading up in preparation and even our formal photos afterwards. They made us feel so comfortable, and having them relieved so much stress from having to worry about such an integral aspect of our wedding. You know the vendor was awesome when so many of our guests complimented them on how fun and awesome they were. They were engaging when it called for it, and flies on the wall when appropriate. Clearly they have mastered their craft, because the flow they were able to achieve was flawless. The editing of our photos and especially our highlight video was so much more than we could have hoped for- legit Hollywood level film making. Layered storylines, seamless transitions, coinciding footage with music- little touches that on the 2nd and 3rd (and 10th and 20th!) watch you’re noticing some clever little tie in or Easter egg. I’ve made short films myself professionally, and I can tell the difference when a piece of content is produced with love and thoughtful consideration. Bravo!

We couldn't be happier with our decision to choose Scarlet Oak Studio to capture our special day. Their team approach was absolutely incredible. Not only did they provide exceptional videography, but they also made us feel incredibly comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. The videographers were fun and meshed with our wedding vibes. They were professional, discreet, and had a fantastic ability to blend into the background while capturing all the important moments. I cannot say enough good things about Elli and her assistants from our wedding last weekend. We haven’t even gotten any photos back yet but I think they already deserve a 5 star rating. They were so professional and so together. They knew exactly how to direct a big group and remembered all the shots we wanted. I can’t wait to see the photos but I have to say, they went above and beyond. I was pretty stressed for most of the dinner because our venue was having issues but Elli and her team literally helped us with everything from tracking venue people down to cutting cheesecake with us. It took a lot of research to find the perfect Videographer for my son who got married in October 2023 at Sundance Resort. From the beginning Tanner was so responsive and helpful in answering so many quesitons to details of the business from the importance of having more than one videographer (a team), to top quality equipment and most important, lighting - we were clueless. He made me feel 100% confident in their ability to shoot the perfect videos - which they did deliver! The arrived early, captured a bit of the nature outside the venu the Fall trees, brooke, mountains to the wedding itself. They coordinated beautifully with the planner and photographer so they ended up helping each other rather than be in each others way. Marcos was delightful and having fun with us while filming and Elli was his perfect assistance ensuring he had the proper lighting but was never in the way. Scarlet Oak did my September wedding and it was an amazing experience working with them. They helped capture my vision of how I wanted our photos to look and my hubby and I couldn’t be happier. They were extremely accommodating and very transparent with everything. They were also FUN! During photos they made us comfortable and making us laugh. We splurged on a lot of vendors for our wedding, but by far the best value we got was from Scarlett Oak Studio. My wife will frequently access our highlight video (and even the extra footage they sent) and sit around watching it over and over. They put together a top class product with narration, music, and terrific transitions between scenes. One thing you won’t regret is having a professional level video documentary of your most important day. There’s so much you miss, and they caught a ton of classic moments on camera. This company does it as well as anyone and for a reasonable price. They were great to work with

Scarlet oak is amazing to work with. They care about you and your day more than just being a job. Elli and Aaron are a husband and wife team for photo and video. We related on so many levels, I felt heard and seen by them. They were there to make sure we got to see our day through everyone else's eyes and they did an amazing job at doing that. We loved our wedding day, but as the bride I was worried about how people would see our day, when Elli and Aaron sent our photos and videos back and I was able to watch them I fell in love with my wedding day all over again in such a different way. I couldn't have loved it more. Thankful for the entire scarlet oak team for everything they did leading up to our wedding and for the weeks after working on our gallery.

The studio was wonderful and our photographer Amanda and her assistant were fantastic and patience. We’re not big on photos but she made us feel at ease and completely comfortable. Can’t wait to see our pictures.

We hired Scarlet Oak for videography of our wedding and could not be happier with the quality of the videos they provided. We always knew we wanted to at least record the ceremony but we had some apprehension about getting it all done professionally and looking back at it. We are sooo thankful that we decided to get it done. We did extensive research and ended up deciding to work with scarlet oak for the videography and that was one of the best choices we’ve ever made. Their team is incredibly relatable and professional. They are a blast to work with and do an amazing job at really capturing the day for you. The videos are about you and they are great about making sure things are natural and organic. They also have great addons like drones, 4k footage, doc edits (which we highly recommend) and zoom live streaming. We had a fairly small destination wedding and the zoom live stream really helped us include the family and friends that we originally couldn’t. Scarlet Oak was rock solid and we didn’t have to worry about them at all. They were able to deliver our videos within the timeframe they committed to. They are completely upfront about everything, expectations etc. Overall if you’re looking for a wonderful group of people that are able to deliver amazing results these guys are who you should hire. They also are competitive with their pricing and work well with other photographers if you decide to split between the two. Highly highly recommend!! It can be so overwhelming to select the perfect vendor to capture your big day. I am so thrilled we stumbled across Scarlet Oak Studios! We were originally going to just to photos, but after a 1x1 call with Tanner, we saw the benefits of using the same vendor for both pictures and videos. It saved us SO much time on our wedding day, as they were synched with each other's visions and shots. We actually were able to enjoy our cocktail hour! They were also so creative- they were able to get shots of my husband and me on the chairlift down from our ceremony. Talk about going above and beyond! To the Scarlet Oak Studios team- specifically Elli (my girl!), Marcos, Taylor, and Tanner- no words will ever express how appreciative I am of your team shooting and filming our wedding day. Scarlet Oak provided a fantastic product for our wedding. Their high grade equipment easily handled the tricky lighting conditions of the aquarium where our reception was held. Photos rights and a good price made it even better!

Scarlet Oak Studio was a pleasure to work with for our wedding. All of the photographers were professional, fun, and collaborative which made the process very engaging. They had lots of ideas for photos and videos. They even stepped away from the middle of their dinner for some unplanned photos of us with the sunset. We chose Scarlet Oak because they seemed like the best quality for the price, and I'm confident that was the right choice. I'm really excited to see the results, once they're done with the edits!

Having Elli and the Scarlet Oak team capture our wedding was the best decision! They were extremely professional and easy going. I was a little behind schedule getting ready and they put me at ease saying to take my time as they went around and captured other aspects of the wedding so I wouldn't feel rushed. They had taking family photos down to a science, so that went very smoothly. In our pre-wedding call to make sure we were on the same page with everything, they made it a point to ask if there are any family issues to know beforehand. That was helpful because my parents are divorced and don't get along very well, but the team easily navigated that. I really liked that for certain photos/moments they helped pose us a bit. It was clear they were capturing every moment of the wedding, but in a very comfortable way where it felt natural to have them around. I loved my experience with Scarlet Oaks and highly recommend them!

Scarlet Oak was great to work with! Although I haven’t received our wedding film yet, I know it’ll be awesome based on their previous work. Aaron was our lead videographer and he was wonderful to work with! He was super friendly and I could tell that he made efforts to work in conjunction with our photographer so that everything flowed smoothly. I could see that he was present for each event but he was never too intrusive with the cameras etc. I would definitely hire Scarlet Oak again! They were/have been really easy to work with as well in regards to planning/choosing the right videography package.

Tanner and Amanda are literally the best photographers we’ve ever had! They took the time to meet us, get to know us, and take incredibly beautiful photos of my husband and I on our special days! They’re super laid back, yet professional. It was the most fun I’ve ever had during a photo shoots! They did our engagement photos, first look photos, and wedding day. I can’t recommend them enough!!

They are AMAZING!!! In 2020, we had 2 sons get married and we hired Scarlet Oaks Studios to do the videography for both weddings. We are blown away at how beautifully they captured each event. 32 years ago, when my husband and I got married, we hired a family member to video our wedding because we could not afford a professional. However, as I was walking down the aisle, our family member accidently hit the mute button and we had NO SOUND of the entire event and he only captured one angle the entire time. I was devastated with the "homemade" video and have regretted that decision ever since. In hindsight, I would have traded fancy flowers and expensive food for a professional video of our special day. When we were planning the weddings for our sons, I shared my experience with both brides and convinced them that, in time, people will forget the food you served and the flowers will definitely wilt, but the videos that capture your event will be eternal and priceless; a family heirloom to be viewed for generations to come. It should NOT be an after-thought, but should be one of the first, and most important, budget items for your wedding. Choosing Scarlet Oaks Studios to capture your day will be one of the best decisions you will make. They will NOT disappoint. They will exceed your expectations on every level. If you're looking for vivid, true to life captures of your special day (photo and film) then Scarlet Oak is the studio you want. Their colors are bold and striking rather than the stylized ethereal soft look that is very obviously edited. Their colors and editing are more natural, very clear and crisp. Amanda and Taylor did our initial consultation. Amanda did our photos for engagements, formals, and wedding day. Aaron was our wedding videographer and we had Dalton as an assistant for all three sessions. Scarlet Oak is very prompt with communication. Their website is super informative, be sure to check out the different packages they offer and know that that they are willing to customize things how you want them. They do a consultation to get to know you and your fiance and how you met, what your interests are to get an idea of who you are. They're knowledgeable about recommending places to do the engagement and formal pictures. They do a phone call about a week before the wedding to go over details and the group shots (which they have a handy list of commonly photographed groups in a sensible order to maximize photos and minimize the time it takes). They were great about working with the large height difference between me and my husband. We couldn't do some of the shots that they normally might do so we have several lifts and seated shots or shots where I'm sitting on a ledge so we are more even in height. They do the editing of the photos themselves and they offer stellar printing with their Entrada and Juniper rag paper (sorta like a cardboard paper--heavier weight). The quality of their prints will be better than those if you print them yourself at Walmart or Costco., which Scarlet Oak also does thinner more typical photo paper prints but I have only printed on the Entrada. They offer both matte and gloss prints as well as canvas. They shoot with two cameras, one to get close up details and the other to get full body shots. They house your photos on their server for a year. You get to download everything in both high resolution and low resolution (better for social media) (you can create a favorites list and share the online gallery with family and friends). All photos are edited for 8x10 size and when you order larger prints they go back and do some more editing so it looks the best it can at that size. Payment is super easy--they use Quick Books and it comes straight from your bank account. They're humans and they're professionals, so when you're making your big day plans, don't forget they need to eat (it's stated in their packages depending on the type you go with--we did full day photo and film) so when planning be sure to take that into account so they aren't eating when you want pictures taken. If you want both photos and video, I recommend going with Scarlet Oak for both since they're used to working together (you're not going to get awkward photos of the videographer in the shot because they're used to where each other will stand and what shots they will be getting) and the colors and finishing are going to look the same.

I mean WOW where do I even begin? We LOVE our photos and video! My new hubby and I planned a very short minute ceremony as our wedding was delayed due to our current global events. We wanted our family and friends to be able to experience the ceremony even though they wouldn’t be there. It was incredibly important for us to have great photos and a video. Scarlet Oak Studio responded to us promptly and began working with us on our vision right away. They understood EXACTLY what we wanted to go for and were so helpful!! Planning a wedding is stressful, having a great photography team is something you shouldn’t be stressed about. Amanda and Aaron shot our wedding and worked with us. They were amazing!!!! Over-delivered is an understatement, they went above and beyond and captured all the small details and special moments. We are forever grateful. I would recommend this studio to anyone and everyone.

Top notch everything! My spouse and I used them for our wedding this summer. Due to issues with the pandemic, our previous videographer dropped our wedding 3 days before the big day! In our frenzy, we searched for a viedographer that was available for our wedding and stumbled on Scarlet Oak Studio. I am SO glad we did! They are professional, top quality, easy to work with, and just good people all around. They do such a good job communicating everything in the process. Scarlet Oak Studio has helped us with both of my daughters weddings and we were so pleased! Tanner and his wife Amanda work so well together and are so fun! We used Scarlet Oak Studio to film our wedding video. Working with Scarlet Oak Studio, specifically Tanner, was a great experience. He is personable and got along with the photographer and everyone in our wedding party. The process before and after our wedding was easy and professional. They were great and let us choose a specific song for the video that we had in mind. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of the video and footage itself, and it turned out absolutely beautiful. The turnaround time was also completed quickly. I wouldn't have chosen anyone different to do our video for us, and I recommend them to anyone who asks.

I absolutely loved working with the Scarlet Oak team! They were very responsive and accommodating to our needs. We had to reschedule our bridals twice due to rain and they were so willing to work around our hecktic pre-wedding lives. I was also so impressed with their equipment. My husband and I have loved working with the Scarlet Oaks Studio, specifically Amanda and Tanner! On the day of our bridals, Tanner was supposed to come film a short video while my photographer from a different studio took our pictures. However, in morning on that day my original photographer got in a extremely horrible accident and couldn’t come. Amanda was able to come the day of and totally saved our butts!! Tanner’s video of our wedding day will be timeless. From watching it, you can tell that hours were poured into making it a work of art! It captured the day so perfectly and a smile stretches across my face every time we watch it 💕

I found them after weeks of searching for the right style of wedding videographer/photographer, and they were the absolute perfect fit for this once-in-a-lifetime moment. I got married almost three years ago, and still Tanner could remember small details from my wedding. That just shows how seriously they take their client relationships. Tanner and Amanda were on top of every detail and made sure they captured every aspect of our special day. Wedding days are so busy that it's nearly impossible to take everything in (I didn't even know what my decorations looked like til I saw the footage!), so it's worth every penny to have them capture your wedding day for you. I still go back and look at my video and photos at least once a month to relive everything. Highly recommend!

NO BRAINER!!!! Okay, from the beginning a videographer was highly important to me. Everyone told me this is the one thing you don't want to skimp on when it comes to your wedding. I hence was very thorough in who I wanted to be our videographer. Not only was Scarlet Oak reasonably priced for their high quality, but their attention to detail, and ability to capture our wedding in the most beautiful way possible was beyond my expectations. When I posted online all my friends were asking who did our video as it was the best they have ever seen fro all our married friends posting theirs. Tanner was amazing with capturing our wedding and I truly felt he went above and beyond to make our day stress free and fun!! Like I said, if you want an amazing video, work with amazing people who are responsive and professional, you would be stupid not to go with these guys!!! Scarlet oak studio is amazing! They are very careful and sure that they know beforehand what kind of video you are going for. I wanted a happy energetic video and they did just that. I also hardly noticed them on the wedding day! They somehow caught all of the important moments and little things without having to get in the way. I would definitely recommend them!
