I honestly looked to Jules for more than just photography, she was there to guide me through creating a wedding timeline and provided fabulous recommendations on other vendors for our wedding day, as well. She advised me to put all our "details" items in separate clear containers for the "details" shots, which was extremely helpful in keeping organized, as well. She truly is the full package. If you decide to hire Jules (which you should), listen to her! I wish we had extended our photography coverage looking back on it, which she had advised us on prior. Jules also works with different levels of budgets - from high profile NHL players to those a bit more cost-conscious, like myself - and makes each client feel extremely important. On the day of our wedding, she was extremely professional and committed - for example, I distinctly remember her climbing up on large stone rocks and balancing to capture our large family group shot. She is a true empath and feels/notices energy in the room. She checked in on me whenever she felt a shift in my energy, to make sure I felt my happiest. Lastly, Jules works very efficiently. We received our "preview" edited pictures within 1 week of our wedding! And the preview included a TON of pictures. We received the rest of the pictures back within the month of our wedding - something I found unique to other photographers in the industry. Jules brought our couple to an area by the water in Newport despite the couple not originally being interested in going off site but we were able to persuade them to let Jules work her magic and she did! The pictures look like the belong in a Newport Wedding magazine. The couple were so happy that they followed Jules’ advice and took pictures with multiple different scenic backdrops! Jules was so amazing and sent a huge sneak peek to the couple and sent all of the vendors the gallery when it was complete. It is not often you get a photographer who is willing to share their work with vendors and follows up with sending galleries when they say they will! Jules did not miss a beat with anything on the wedding day and captured every little moment that was happening! We were immediately drawn to her work and how she makes everything look so naturally stunning, but as a very camera-shy person who was super nervous about the whole idea of wedding photography, what really sealed the deal for me was Jules's warm, confident, and joyful approach to the entire process. Every interaction we had leading up (including our super fun engagement shoot) was an absolute pleasure and put my mind at ease, and during our wedding day, her endlessly bubbly presence combined with her professionalism and experience was everything we could have dreamed of. months before the big day, COVID hit. Our dream wedding was quickly squashed, but we were determined to still have Jules as our photographer. She made our new date work and went above and beyond to be at our 2021 wedding. You read that correctly. Jules stuck by us through this process for nearly three years. Her kindness and comfort during such a trying time did not go unnoticed. She checked in, genuinely cared, and offered candid advice to help us through. Weekend of, 30 of us traveled to Nantucket for our micro wedding. We were warned of gale force winds and cancelled ferries on the big day. What did Jules do? She took hours out of her private time, the day before, to get us some sunny shots before the weather rolled in. Her thoughtfulness and willingness to role with the punches are rare qualities these days…but Jules truly exudes both. She was able to get us out of our shells and kept us in the moment. Most people look back on the wedding and remember the party. For me, I will always remember taking pictures the day before my wedding. The three of us had so much fun and were stress-free for the first time in this entire process. We laughed, danced, and we’re entirely carefree. I attribute this entirely to who Jules is. eline and she sent us a document outlining the event which relieved a lot of my stress. On the day she did a great job of naturally getting us to pose and has a great eye for picturesque photos. We received a sneak peak of several photos within a week of our wedding and all the photos within a month. Jules is my first pick for photos in the future and I would recommend her to anyone :)
