I called and texted and would get a response 20% of the time, he’d say “tomorrow I’ll get back to you”, and he wouldn’t. I finally got through after saying I was concerned and instead of apologizing he was arguing with me about how busy he is - meanwhile I’m an international corporate event planner, and I wasn’t too busy to make time for him, which always happened to be in the middle of the work day. We did our final meeting (for 2 hours) I felt confident that he would get the job done correctly, I was wrong. List of things done incorrectly : My FIL wasn’t given a boutonnière My bridesmaids bouquets were wrong. My 4 sisters were meant to have plussed up bouquets, they didn’t. My bouquet was smaller than the sample size. The aisle was done incorrectly. The men’s boutonnière were meant to be on cards to stick in their pockets, they were pinned on. He added vases at the end of the aisle, which I said I didn’t want. He didn’t even deliver my personals, I didn’t see him once the entire day. We had a mirror with messaging, 2x large clamshell pots in which florals were placed in. When all was said and done - these 3 items went missing. It took us nearly 2 months, and 3 people reaching out to Phillip and his team to finally learn that they had these items. I only received 1 text message back from Phillip for the 6 that I sent him. I finally lost my patience when I called the shop and asked them to look in the back right that moment after they went on an on about how busy they are - because apparently they’re the only people on the planet earth that are working & busy. FINALLY they located our items. It’s worth noting these items valued $600. I firmly believe if we didnt force them to pay attention to us they would have kept these items. My husband went to pick them up the next day - the messaging had been removed from our mirror. This indicates to me that he either used it in another wedding or planned to. He asked the shop to tell Philip to call him immediately. He did not. My husband finally grew impatient after a week and called him. Philip didn’t apologize, instead he made excuses “there was water in the van, the wrapping took it off” both of us work in events, and we both know that wouldn’t remove the messaging. Then he said “most people don’t care to have the messaging on it still”, which isn’t his decision to make. He then was trying to manipulate the situation and tell my husband “your wife wasn’t smiling the whole morning of your wedding, I saw one of her bridesmaids tell her to smile before she walked down the aisle. I was standing in front of her and she didn’t even acknowledge me. Neither of you came to find me to say hello” Who tells a newly married man that his wife wasn’t smiling on the day of their wedding. This couldn’t have been further from the truth. H&MU and my coordinator told me I was the chillest bride they had ever met and I had a smile on my face the entire day. Also, he never delivered our personals so when would I have seen him? The officiant before the ceremony even said “your florist is such a miserable man”. He tried to take my happiness away from me post wedding and talk horribly about me to my new husband. Absolutely disgusting behavior.
