We can't say enough good things about SCE Event Group and our DJ, Jason Cohen. We were recommended to them by friends who had recently gotten married at the same venue, and they were spot on. Although we ended up working with a different DJ due to scheduling, Jason was an absolute pleasure to work with. Our wedding reception was a whirlwind of special moments, from a traditional Polish bread and salt ceremony to a Chinese tea ceremony. Jason seamlessly guided us through each event, providing informative narration and keeping our guests engaged. His MC skills were top-notch, and he even announced our group photos during dinner. The music was incredible! Our friends and family raved about the mixing and the DJ's ability to keep the dance floor packed all night long. Even those who aren't typically dancers were out there having a blast. Planning our wedding with Jason was a breeze. He was incredibly patient, working with us to select the perfect music for our special moments. YES! ABSOLUTELY YES! Having a DJ / MC that set a good vibe and kept the party going while hitting all the events and names correctly was top of our list. We wanted to have fun, get butts up on the dance floor and have a blast all night. Casey and Eric were PERFECT! Every meeting we had was so much fun. My fiancé (at that time) and I would come away from the meetings saying, “they are awesome, we have such a good feeling / vibe from them.” The forms to fill out were extremely thorough – It might seem like a lot to put in, but I promise it was worth including everything. People said the DJ was awesome! I was so happy to hear that even though, I knew I was on the dance floor all night so I knew they killed it, in my eyes at least lol. It was still nice to hear from guests that they also had a good time. They played a perfect mix of hits, requested songs (even the weird ones), our picks, etc. The timing was on point too, playing the right kind of songs while eating or in between certain events like bouquet toss, cake cutting, etc. Casey made really great suggestions too like the ballroom blitz but instead of the bride and groom running and taking a photo with each table, we sat on the dance floor and each table had to run up to us and take a photo. I cannot wait to see these photos! Our siblings and nephews were jumping across our laps and sliding onton the floor! He also told us about the ‘millennial hour’ at the end which was a huge hit. They also provided so many cool add-ons, we did dance on a cloud and the photo booth which was a hit too and I love having the photos of our guests having a great time. We also had a harpist that SCE provided for the ceremony and cocktail hour - She was lovely and so talented. I cried the moment I heard the harp. Their prices are extremely reasonable. I highly recommend SCE fully! It says something that I spent more time on the dance floor than taking to some people lol I also ended the night on my knees playing air guitar to My Chemical Romance and Blink 182 so just the best way to end any night. I also suggest getting everyone to chant ‘1 more song’ at the end of the night to get their special last song… it was a fun time.

Hiring DJ Seth Velez was the best decision we could have made for our wedding. When we began thinking of what DJ to use, we must have spent hours upon hours listening to samples from other DJs and nobody quite hit the mark, until we heard Seth. The goal was to find someone who truly reminded of us of what a DJ is, not too intrusive with MCing during the reception, ability to transition between songs, a classic DJ feel with a scratch table, and able to keep the dance floor going by assessing the floor and changing the songs up if needed. DJ Seth was all of that and more. The website was a fantastic feature where we were able to add absolutely must play, absolutely do not play, and play if possible songs. Seth also had us send him our spotify list for any extra songs that we couldn’t add to the list (due to the 25-song max.). He did a phenomenal job using the list and genres we told him we liked, and mixing it into something any age could dance to ranging from 5 years old to 92 years old. We said we wish we could throw another huge party just so we could have him DJ for us again.

When looking for a DJ for our wedding, Jason and SCE came highly recommended by several co-workers. We set a meeting up with Jason and instantly knew that we wanted him and his team at our wedding. Throughout the whole planning process, Jason and his team were very responsive and professional. We gave Jason a vision of what we wanted for our special day, and he had completely exceeded our expectations. Jason and his team provided services during our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Each part of the day was perfect. When it came to the reception Jason and his team had everyone on the dance floor. Everyone who attended the wedding has commented on how amazing our DJ was and expressed how much fun they had. We are truly grateful and appreciative of Jason and his team. We had DJ Paul Knox play at our wedding and he was fantastic. The music at the reception was great, and he knew how to keep the energy up throughout the ballroom. We also had him for the after party, which was probably our favorite part. Would highly recommend!

We had DJ Kevin Garrity and we couldn’t have been more happy!! He truly listened to everything we had to say and made our night so special. Every song he played was on the playlist I sent him and kept me and my husband a long with guests dancing for almost 3 hours straight! I didn’t want to leave the dance floor! He made sure to check with us before saying yes to requests and made sure we were happy the whole time! Would definitely recommend him and SCE event group!!! Many guests have complimented Kevin and some newly engaged couples at our wedding are interested in hiring him! We love you kevin!!

1000/10 highly recommend Jason Cohen with SCE entertainment. From our first zoom meeting with Jason, we knew we were in great hands. We wanted a DJ that would keep the vibes high energy from start to finish and Jason more than delivered! The music was incredible - he played the perfect mix of songs from every era while making sure to include our must plays/preferences. All of our guests are still raving about the music two weeks after our wedding! Jason/SCE also managed our lighting, Photo Booth, and ceremony music which was all executed perfectly. There is not enough good words in the world to explain how amazing my experience was with Jeff. From the first video call, Jeff was truly the most kind and considerate person. He never made me feel like we were just another couple, and always made me feel like he was intentional in working with us. He made the process so easy and getting his emails throughout the process really help keep me on track. Aside from that, the day of was absolutely perfect. Besides playing the best mix of music, he was just genuinely an amazing host for the day and made every moment he could memorable. I feel insanely lucky that we got to work with him specifically throughout this process. We were recommended SCE from a friend who got married who had an excellent experience with their DJ as well, so aside from Jeff being the BEST, I have no doubt that SCE always brings the best in their services.

We had our special day 11.8.2024 and it could not have been any better. Paul listened to our vision and ran with it. It was so important to us to have our guests on the dance floor and Paul filled it all night long. WOW! I WISH I COULD GIVE MORE THAN 5 STARS! It can be hard to know who to trust, but if you want to trust me - I cannot understate how much I recommend SCE and specifically Chris Atwood. One piece of advice I have is to put your dollars behind the PEOPLE that are running your wedding. What's important when picking your wedding DJ? Yes - they gotta bring the party, yes they gotta be professional, but it shouldn't be understated how much they need to be comfortable in chaos and able to pivot with a smile. Wedding days are chaotic despite the best of efforts and true professionals can handle it and are worth every dollar for that peace of mind! Chris went so above and beyond I cannot put into words the impact and extra happiness that he brought to our wedding. My family and friends LOVED his energy and authenticity. He worked SO WELL with my photographers and coordinators - but I truly believe he was running the show! Any moment of doubt it was CHRIS who was at our side making a suggestion or guiding the way. P.S. - I assigned my (now husband) to do the music... and my man always does his homework at the last minute which usually STRESSES ME OUT. Jason was amazing!! Our guests ranged from infants to a 95 year old and he was able to get everyone out on the dance floor. We met with Jason and told him that we wanted a hit of every decade with a modern spin and that is exactly what he gave us. He made our wedding dreams come true from his energy, to dancing on clouds and his sparklers! By the end of the night everyone in the room was on the dance floor having a good time. I would definitely recommend Jason to any bride getting married. He was professional, respectful and listened to us and our requests for the day!

Jeff was super awesome & kept the dance floor alive our whole wedding! Everyone was raving to me about how awesome he was. He will play all genres to keep people of all ages up and dancing. The communication line was always open between the office staff and our actual DJ for the night, Christian. Christian was more than we could’ve ever hoped for in a wedding DJ. He answered texts whenever you needed any questions answered leading up to the event. His love for love and positive energy is so obvious in his work. Him and his assistant truly helped solve any little issue just to make sure everything was truly perfect for us. Christian had our dance floor on fire! His mixes are so fun and awesome. SCE was very straightforward and helpful through the process beginning to end. I would be remiss if we didn’t shout DJ Kevin out on every wedding website, he truly made our party come alive! Kevin was an absolute pleasure to work with, and has a knack for making people immediately comfortable. When we talked about DJing/MCing it’s like he immediately knew what we wanted and tailored the experience to fit our vision. We gave him minimal direction because we didn’t want to get over involved and he completely crushed it just with a rough idea of what we asked for. It’s like he was in our minds! The intelligent lighting was absolutely worth it as well, and Kevin’s fiancée Teddi delivered a light show that was the perfect atmosphere for our dance party. It wasn’t just Kevin and Teddi’s skill that made the day special, it was their personality. They immediately felt like people we knew for a long time, and Kevin gave me a much needed silent boost of encouragement as I walked down the aisle with the groomsmen. Going with SCE event group for our wedding was the best decision could’ve ever made! They came to my husband and I highly recommended from a close friend who had them DJ their wedding a few years back. We were fortunate enough to score DJ Casey and DJ Eric and they did not disappoint. They were so nice and attentive with us. They were incredibly understanding, caring and put US first above anything. They carefully listened to our detailed plan of how we wanted to lay out the evening, what music choices we wanted to hear, even offered thoughtful suggestions for any details we may have missed. All people could talk about after the wedding was how much fun they had and how they danced all night long. We also chose the photo booth option with our package which was fantastic. We got such fun pics which everyone loved to take with them and our attendant Kaila was a joy to work with. As far as I’m concerned, SCE exceeded our expectations and will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family for any of their future events. 5 stars all the way!

She answered emails quickly, and I didn’t feel like I was annoying her with all my questions! Once we had our first meeting with Jeff Scott, we knew we had to book him! His energy is truly UNMATCHED. He had everyone on the dance floor all night long and that was all we wanted! He knows how to read the crowd, and we have not stopped receiving compliments. We truly believe the DJ makes the party, and with Jeff, and his team, we knew we made the right decision!

WOW we are so blown away by Kevin and Teddi. They definitely exceeded our expectations. The amount of compliments we received throughout the night about Teddi and Kevin was surreal. From creating a custom mix for our first dance song to absolutely crushing the last song, and everything in between, we just never wanted it to end. They were so friendly and accommodating to our guests and played a huge part in making it the best night we’ve ever had. They knew the exact amount of energy to bring during the emotional moments, but also ensured our dance floor was packed the entire night. DJ Chris Obando was extremely responsive and knowledgeable during each of our planning meetings. He listened to us and crafted the best wedding mixtape for our special day! My wedding at Pleasantdale Chateu happened in late July 2024 I had the pleasure of experiencing SCE’s Jason Jani’s performance firsthand, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! He has always been my personal favorite all this years , I knew I had to have him for my wedding . From the moment he took the stage, Jason's energy and passion for music were palpable. His ability to read the crowd is truly impressive; he effortlessly mixed genres, keeping everyone on their feet and dancing all night long. I had an extremely diverse crowd of all walks of life, ethnicities and age groups. Whether it was Latino hits, classic hits or the latest tracks, Jason curated set after set that resonated with everyone present. His transitions were seamless, showcasing his skill as a DJ and his deep understanding of what gets people moving. Beyond his technical prowess, Jason’s personality shone through. From our initial phone call with Christian, we knew he had to be there during our special day. He was super personable and easy to talk to, which is so important when picking your wedding vendors! He made us feel so comfortable and we knew he would do a great job at your wedding. He really cares about his clients and wants them to have a great experience. Christian did an amazing job DJing our wedding! We had a ton of guests saying how great he was and that they didn’t want to leave the dance floor. He read the vibes of those who were on the dance floor and played music accordingly to keep the dance floor going! He was also flexible and took suggestions on specific songs or types of music we wanted during the reception. He was easy to communicate with during our wedding process and helped us out with a lot of song choices. We highly recommend having SCE & Christian on your special day.

We chose SCE because of the incredible experiences we had at two weddings where we were guests. The overall energy of the company is fantastic! Our initial chat with Chris (DJ O) was very welcoming, and throughout our meetings, he genuinely valued our opinions and offered great insights to help bring our vision to life. He’s bilingual which was a big factor for us (Spanish) On our wedding day, DJ O brought amazing energy and did a phenomenal job! We truly appreciated how he listened to us and surprised us with national flags representing both our families. We had Jason DJ our wedding in September at The Mill Lakeside Manor. He was amazing from the very beginning. I knew from the moment my husband and I met him that he was the DJ for us. He was very communicative and gave great advice throughout the whole process. He met with us a few times before out wedding to make sure everything was in order and would run smoothly. He had everyone dancing all night from start to finish. He played a mix of all different types of music which kept everyone of all ages on the dance floor all night. We just had our wedding this past weekend and SCE made the event what it was. Chris, Mike, and Paul were incredible and kept the energy up the entire night. People were actually sad when we had to sit down and eat dinner. The entire process was incredibly easy and professional. Stephanie was also very helpful and prompt on the transaction side of everything. Special shout out to Paul for making sure that everything was perfect and double checked all songs/orders were correct. We had multiple people tell us this was the most fun they have had at a wedding. The entertainment truly makes it. I could not recommend SCE enough!

One of the highlights for us was the CO2 gun, which added an extra layer of fun and excitement to the night. It was something I had my heart set on, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. My wife loved it just as much—it really amped up the party vibe! If you’re looking to add a unique touch, the CO2 experience is an absolute must. Paul was phenomenal, handling every detail with precision. He nailed the pronunciation of everyone’s names and made sure every moment was perfectly timed. His professionalism, combined with his ability to keep the energy high, made our wedding unforgettable. We highly recommend Paul and the entire SCE team!

SCE is TOP NOTCH! Working with them throughout our entire wedding process was an absolute breeze. Not only are they super professional, they are warm, and you can tell they love what they do and care for their couples. You are by no means just another number. They really know how to help you throw an out of this world celebration. When we finally selected our DJ, Christian LaGrotteria, I knew immediately that he was the perfect choice and would do an amazing job on our wedding day. On our video calls, he really took the time to get to know who we are as people, and what kind of music we love. With that being said, when the wedding day finally arrived, everything was ABSOLUTE PERFECTION! Christian's set was EPIC, he played everything we wanted and more. He really kept the crowed going and the dance floor full. We chose Marcus to play the Saxophone, and he really added so much LIFE to the party and our guests loved it. Our guests raved about the music all night and still tell us how GREAT it was. SCE is by FAR the best in the business. 10/10!

Jason Jani and the entire SCE team made my wedding day entertainment everything we could have dreamed of and more! From initially meeting Jason to working with his very professional team to coordinate a saxophonist to our final meeting; every step of the way we felt Jason’s passion and desire to give us the party of our dreams. His attention to detail in coordinating special moments like an audio for my father-daughter dance to incorporating our love of country music was incredible. We have gotten innumerable compliments on how awesome our DJ and saxophonist were from all of our guests. I could write a novel raving about SCE and my DJ Paul Knox.. 5 starts just doesn’t even feel like enough !! We hired Paul and his team for our 10/6/24 wedding and they exceeded all of our expectations. Communication beforehand was easy and professional but most importantly they carried that over into wedding day and delivered the party I dreamed of. One of the best compliments my guests gave was that there wasn’t a single moment all night where you could see through the dance floor to the other side of the venue because the dance floor was packed ALL night. My husband and I could not recommend SCE Event Group, specifically DJ Seth Velez, enough! My husband and I got married in September 2024 on Long Beach Island and one of our biggest wishes for our weddings was to have a packed dance floor. Seth went above and beyond to make this happen. Our dance floor was pumping alllll night long! We have heard from so many of our guests that it was the best wedding they’ve been to. We also had a number of guests specifically mention how great Seth was. Not only is Seth a great DJ but he is also a great person and that really shows in how he treats his clients. He is responsive, attentive as well as kind and caring. From our very first meeting with him, we could tell he truly cared about making our wedding dreams come true. We also had 2 talented SCE musicians, a guitarist and a sax player. The guitarist played beautiful music during our ceremony and cocktail hour and the sax added that extra flare to the dance floor! These musicians were amazing, and the process for booking these musicians was seamless. The SCE team was responsive and attentive to our requests and everything went off without a hitch!

We went through SCE and had DJ Seth Velez as our DJ for our ceremony and reception. We are almost 3 weeks since our wedding and everyone is still talking about our DJ!! Seth was truly amazing from start to finish from planning to the actual big day! By the end of the process, i feel that i can call him a friend (almost feels like family). Super easy to talk to, always makes sure everything is on track. Has great ideas really out did himself. Everyone was on the dance floor all night. It was hard to leave the dance floor with a banger being played, and then right after that another. Felt like the party of the year! I hope to have more events in the future to hire DJ Seth V. Again cannot recommend enough! If you are looking for a good time, and to have your dance floor packed all night, look no further!!!

We are so happy we booked DJ Seth Velez from SCE for our 9/14/24 wedding! Seth is such a positive person with a joyful personality. He has great professionalism as a vendor and was extremely helpful during the planning process giving us feedback and helping us make decisions. On the wedding day he kept people of all ages on the dance floor all night long, while staying attentive to both mine and my husbands’ different music tastes! Seth was a very enthusiastic emcee that got people excited for each part of our reception. Overall we could not have chosen a better human to be our DJ, Seth will be an incredible asset to anyone’s big day! We hired Seth from the SCE group for our 9/28 wedding. WOW! We have been to a lot of weddings, and we have never seen a dance floor packed like it was on our special day. As the wedding planning process started, we heard of SCE from some friends who had used the company before for their own weddings. We met with a few companies and once we met with Kevin Garrity, we knew him and SCE were the right choice. Kevin is such an awesome guy, brings super high energy, and you can tell he genuinely cared about us and making sure we were going to have the best night ever. The planning process was easy, Kevin continuously checked in with us to make sure we were doing alright, and when it came to final meetings, he helped cover every detail to ensure we didn’t miss a thing. Our wedding was last weekend and Kevin absolutely KILLED IT!!! We have had so many of our guests tell us how the music was one of the best they have heard and that’s saying something as our guest’s ages ranged from 20s to grandparents. Kevin went above and beyond for us and we will forever be thankful for him and the SCE team to make our wedding reception one big party where everyone couldn’t get off the dance floor. SCE and Jason Jani are simply the BEST. Truly the best in the business. We knew from the first meeting with Jason that he was going to be our wedding DJ. SCE offers the best quality services and the most professional productions out there. I cannot tell you how many guests came up to us during and after the event telling us how amazing our DJ is and how blown away they were by the whole production. Jason had the idea of adding in media to our wedding production and I am so glad he did. Our guests were truly mind blown that videos and photos of our entrances, first dances, and other moments that just happened were playing on the screens during the meal. The cold sparks, CO2 gun, and photo booth were also show stoppers! People are still reminding us how insanely cool the moment was when my husband and I got up on stage and sprayed the crowd with the CO2. This is a memory we will never forget! We are so happy we chose Seth to be our DJ at our wedding. From the first time we met with Seth he was interested in getting to know us as a couple and the vision we had for our wedding. We wanted something a little unconventional...I wanted to incorporate Country music with a line dancing instructor for a portion of the night & my husband wanted to have an EDM rave. Not only was Seth able to seamlessly transition between all the types of song/genres that we wanted to have played but he also coordinated with our line dancing instructor to make sure the night ran smoothly. Our dance floor was packed from the first song to the last! We also had a saxophone player through SCE, who was an absolute vibe! With all the stress of wedding planning, Seth went out of his way to make the whole process easy & fun/exciting. We had friends who had terrible experiences with their DJs & heard of nightmare stories, so being able to trust Seth with the vision we had was huge. I had no worries that he was going to execute exactly what we wanted, which was a huge relief in the planning process. We are so grateful to Seth & the whole SCE team for making our wedding such an incredible experience for us & our guests! We booked Bobby (DJBobeluv) through SCE as well as Alli for our photobooth. Throughout the calls and meetings with Bobby, we told him our biggest wish for the wedding was to have a packed dance floor and WOW, did he deliver!!! Our guests danced the night away with us to all of our favorite songs that we shared with him through our Spotify playlist. He added in songs that matched our vibe perfectly, not only for reception but for dinner and cocktail as well! He was so much fun all night, walked us through every step, and was so knowledgeable throughout the entire planning process. Bobby and his assistant were snapping pictures and videos all night and had a live replay on the screen throughout the night! It was so much fun for us to get to see those memories captured in real time. Our wedding was a week ago and we are still talking about what an amazing party he helped us create. Alli was the best photobooth manager we could have EVER asked for. She was so hands on, helpful, and overall just had an amazing attitude all night long. We chose the social booth with prints, and were so excited to find out that Alli printed us duplicates of every photo we were in that night. It was so thoughtful of her to do. We were also excited to find out that we got a guest book with photos and notes inside as well! Special mention here also for Steph who answered ALL of my questions in record speed and was always so friendly and happy to help!!! If you are on the hunt for a company that will walk you through the planning process, make sure your wedding is the party of your dreams, AND do it all with a smile, then you have found the right company ❤️ we couldn’t recommend SCE more.

DJ Christian was absolutely perfect. I would not change a thing about what he did for our wedding night. Firstly we asked SCE to provide the microphones for our wedding ceremony and everything was set up perfectly without us having to worry about anything. We also asked for a string duet to play during the ceremony and cocktail hour, and the musicians were so talented and professional, playing all the songs we asked for at the right times. For the reception itself, Christian briefed us on the order of events and reviewed that everything was exactly what we wanted before starting. He was on time with all the cues for entrances, first dances, and speeches. Now onto the fun part. The dance sets were LIT. Christian read the crowd vibes and played music accordingly. The lights corresponded so perfectly to the music, I felt like our wedding was transformed into a dance club. He played most of the songs on our requested song list, and most importantly played the final songs of the night we requested. Leading up to the wedding, Christian and the SCE team were available by phone and email for any questions we had. Every time we chatted with Christian, he was very professional and reassuring, which meant a lot to us as wedding planning can be quite stressful. Overall Christian made our wedding night so fun and I would absolutely book him and the SCE team again.

SCE absolutely made the party at our wedding! We met with Jeff Scott Gould and knew he was the perfect fit. He brought all the energy on wedding day and all of our guests have been RAVING about him ever since! One couple has already booked with SCE because of it. THE BEST DJ GROUP AROUND!!!!!!!! I just had my wedding last Thursday 9/12 and I had Jason Jani as my DJ and let me tell you, he is the best DJ that I’ve ever heard! My husband and I told him that we want the dance floor packed all the time and wow did he deliver! The process of booking Jason was seamless and he provided an information sheet to make sure that every aspect of music for the wedding was taken care of and it is what my husband and I wanted! We also met with him on Zoom multiple times going over lighting and of course music. You can really tell how passionate he is and it shows in his work and while working with his clients because he really wanted to get to know us as a couple ! Our guests kept coming up to us and complimenting how amazing he is! A surprising touch that Jason added was that maybe mid way through the reception I looked up at his DJ booth and all of a sudden I see the booth is a TV screen that’s showing the bridal party’s entrances and special dances like father daughter dance, etc! I had no idea that was happening and I was so happy it did! Jason also made it special for my husband and I by giving us the best advice during dinner for him and I to take a minute together, step away from the dance floor and look and see all the people we love under one roof having so much fun. My husband and I listened and wow was that a magical special moment! If you are booking a DJ you MUST book Jason Jani or any DJ at SCE Events because they truly love what they do and are such caring professionals who want to make your wedding or event PERFECT!!!
