My husband and I cannot express enough how thankful we are to Chris and the SCE team for making our wedding INCREDIBLE!! One of the most important things to us on our big day was making sure everyone was on the dance floor all night. Chris completely understood our vision and played all sorts of genres (even some country) per our request, all while managing to keep people dancing. We had so many people tell us that the dancing and music at our wedding made it one of the most fun weddings they’ve ever been to! Not only did Chris read the crowd perfectly with music, but he also emceed and made all of the special dances and speeches seemless. He even worked with my maid of honor to incorporate music to a humerus part of her speech. Lastly, Chris surprised us with a Penn State flag while playing one of the school songs at the end of the night and it truly was such a special touch. Jason not only handled the timeline and flow seamlessly but also checked in with us multiple times to ensure everything was going smoothly. Coming from a music lover (I'm always the one on the aux at any party LOL) and being the super organized person I am, it was truly a PLEASURE hiring and working with SCE for all of our entertainment needs for our wedding day. From the very beginning steps of reaching out to see if our date was available, to reviewing DJ's availability and portfolios, to meeting our DJ over zoom to chat more to make sure he was the right fit.... everything was flawless. Communication was on point and if I had any questions throughout the year while planning Steph was always super responsive to answer my questions right away. I then had zero doubts that they would deliver on our wedding day. We hired Jeff Scott Gould and knew right away he was the right person to DJ our wedding just after one zoom call. His energy is off the charts, so personable, rocked the best playlist the entire night. We had shared some songs that we wanted to hear that night and not only did he deliver but he threw in his own twist reading the crowds energy so well. I can't say it enough how many people were complimenting how amazing the music was literally ALL night and still to this day! I literally did not leave the dance floor once LOL. Trusting Jeff and SCE was the best decision we could have made for the most memorable day of our lives!!!

We had the pleasure of working with SCE Event Group and DJ Chris Obando for our wedding, and we couldn’t have been more impressed! YES! ABSOLUTELY YES! Having a DJ / MC that set a good vibe and kept the party going while hitting all the events and names correctly was top of our list. We wanted to have fun, get butts up on the dance floor and have a blast all night. Casey and Eric were PERFECT! Every meeting we had was so much fun. My fiancé (at that time) and I would come away from the meetings saying, “they are awesome, we have such a good feeling / vibe from them.” The forms to fill out were extremely thorough – It might seem like a lot to put in, but I promise it was worth including everything. People said the DJ was awesome! I was so happy to hear that even though, I knew I was on the dance floor all night so I knew they killed it, in my eyes at least lol. It was still nice to hear from guests that they also had a good time. They played a perfect mix of hits, requested songs (even the weird ones), our picks, etc. The timing was on point too, playing the right kind of songs while eating or in between certain events like bouquet toss, cake cutting, etc. Casey made really great suggestions too like the ballroom blitz but instead of the bride and groom running and taking a photo with each table, we sat on the dance floor and each table had to run up to us and take a photo. I cannot wait to see these photos! Our siblings and nephews were jumping across our laps and sliding onton the floor! He also told us about the ‘millennial hour’ at the end which was a huge hit. They also provided so many cool add-ons, we did dance on a cloud and the photo booth which was a hit too and I love having the photos of our guests having a great time. We also had a harpist that SCE provided for the ceremony and cocktail hour - She was lovely and so talented. I cried the moment I heard the harp. Their prices are extremely reasonable. I highly recommend SCE fully! It says something that I spent more time on the dance floor than taking to some people lol I also ended the night on my knees playing air guitar to My Chemical Romance and Blink 182 so just the best way to end any night. I also suggest getting everyone to chant ‘1 more song’ at the end of the night to get their special last song… it was a fun time.

WOW! I WISH I COULD GIVE MORE THAN 5 STARS! It can be hard to know who to trust, but if you want to trust me - I cannot understate how much I recommend SCE and specifically Chris Atwood. One piece of advice I have is to put your dollars behind the PEOPLE that are running your wedding. What's important when picking your wedding DJ? Yes - they gotta bring the party, yes they gotta be professional, but it shouldn't be understated how much they need to be comfortable in chaos and able to pivot with a smile. Wedding days are chaotic despite the best of efforts and true professionals can handle it and are worth every dollar for that peace of mind! Chris went so above and beyond I cannot put into words the impact and extra happiness that he brought to our wedding. My family and friends LOVED his energy and authenticity. He worked SO WELL with my photographers and coordinators - but I truly believe he was running the show! Any moment of doubt it was CHRIS who was at our side making a suggestion or guiding the way. P.S. - I assigned my (now husband) to do the music... and my man always does his homework at the last minute which usually STRESSES ME OUT. However, with Chris in my corner I had nothing to worry about. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

Chris O and the whole SCE team were a true pleasure to work with for the past year or so. Music was a big part of our special day and Chris ACED IT. He went above and beyond with the planning, the advice, the vibes, all of the above! From day one, he was extremely helpful by getting to know us first and then diving into all the components that would make our special day the best one yet. It's been a little over a week since we got married and we are still getting compliments about the music from our wedding. The day went off without a hitch thanks to Chris and his team.
