He truly cared about us and guided us to crafting a perfect experience for our guests. The lighting they brought? INSANE. At one point, one of my guests shared “it looks like you have the northern lights on your ceiling!” The way Chris mixed the music was seamless; he paired songs together perfectly and always kept our guests moving. He was so authentic, and his energy made you want to dance all night long. I cannot imagine our wedding day without him and the SCE team. The dance floor was packed all night and we had so many guests comment on how great the music selection was.  I highly recommend booking with SCE Entertainment- you won’t be disappointed!

We also hired a saxophonist, Art, through SCE, and in collaboration with Jeff, they created an absolutely epic bridal party entrance led by the sax player—one of the most talked-about moments of the night. From there on, Jeff kept the dance floor going all night long. He seamlessly mixed in our unique requests, including a DMB mix, a full “girl anthems” set, and pop-punk, while keeping everyone dancing—from our bridal party to my grandma. Music was one of the most important parts of our wedding, and Jeff, Art, and SCE exceeded every expectation. We cannot recommend them more highly.

SCE also helped deliver on our ceremony in the chapel which was beautiful. Jason  hooked us up  with an airhorn  because it was right  for our vibe, he's a legend and SCE was the best

y our last prep call, it felt like we were good friends. He's super easy going, fun, and knows how to keep your dancefloor bumpin all night long. We gave Kevin a few songs we wanted played during our reception dinner and said if there was additional time they should play whatever they thought guests would like. Teddi played Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls to wrap up dinner and the whole room was singing along. It was one of my favorite moments of the reception. We can't recommend this awesome duo enough!

respect and awful service that we received from SCE Event Group that we received leading up to, on, and after our wedding. Our problems were in three areas: 1. DISRESPECT: Throughout our planning calls, our DJ consistently made gendered comments that made us uncomfortable. During our reception, he made sarcastic comments about our choreographed first dance and our parents’ and MOH/best man speeches. He also cut me off during my husband’s and my’s thank you remarks. 2. LACK OF ATTENTION TO DETAIL: When reviewing the songs we sent for our parent’s entrance songs, he asked us to differentiate between two very different songs from the artist we sent. Admittedly, it was not in his native language, but all he had to do was listen to the first 5 seconds of each (which had incredibly different intros..) and match the characters in the song title. We didn’t think this would be too much for a professional DJ to handle considering recognizing music and beats is a core part of his job? He also the venue name wrong while MCing our reception. 3. DISREGARD OF PLANNING & FEEDBACK: Our biggest issue. We spent a long time before the wedding filling out SCE’s portal detailing the music and vibe we wanted. We spent hours planning / reviewing our selections with our DJ (4 different calls ~45 minutes each) and were taken aback at how little of that planning surfaced during our reception. The DJ started our second dance set with a slow dance for our guests to join in– something we explicitly indicated we didn’t want as we had widowed relatives that would feel left out. My husband and I separately went up to the DJ to tell him to cut the slow song ASAP, but when we asked, he told each of us “when I’m done with this song”. This behavior repeated itself throughout the night as the DJ deviated from the agreed upon musical styles we requested. Both my husband and I as well as members of our wedding party went up to DJ Paul Knox to request other songs / tell him to move on, but we were told by him “we’ll have time for that later” – we were still getting these comments 45 minutes before the end of our reception. It genuinely felt like we were in a tug-of-war with our DJ to get the music we selected and discussed to be played at our wedding. After the wedding, we had a call with the founder of SCE Event Group (Jason Jani), to express our disappointment with Paul Knox the services. During the call Jason seemed apologetic and said that he will check with Paul but that he would “fully refunded us, even if out of my own pocket, if necessary” (his words). When we heard this we were impressed and appreciated a business righting its wrongs. After this conversation, we got an email from Jason that after review of the playlist and “footage showing an engaged crowd and a full dance floor” (which was true because we tried to make the best of bad situation, with us / our wedding party dragging as many people as they could on the dance floor), he denied offering a full refund, stated that they would only offer a 50% refund with the caveat that we could not share our negative experience anywhere. We decided that we would rather not take the money so we could speak the truth about our terrible experience and prevent anyone else from having their special day ruined by SCE Event Group.

The music and dance party was a very important part of the night to us and Jason went above and beyond to deliver exactly what we were hoping for. Our guests shared that Jason was the best wedding DJ they've ever experienced and everyone was up on the dance floor having a blast from the very first song. We also added the Photo Booth, which our guests had a ton of fun with. Jason's team was professional and friendly. Jason delivered the perfect balance of energy, song choice, and fun. 12/10 would recommend partnering with Jason and SCE Event Group! He rocked!!

He worked with us to include all of the different and special moments that we wanted in our ceremony and in our reception seamlessly from a choreographed dance by our family to a table by table photo dash with our guests. All of our guests absolutely loved the music and said that they could tell that Kevin had a great pulse on what the crowd wanted. We can’t thank him enough for helping make our wedding day perfect!

erent companies before SCE Event Group but I knew I wanted Jason for our wedding within the first 5 minutes of our initial meeting. He was just so nice and fun and understood the vibe we were going for (a lot of 2016 college-era music). I had provided him with a playlist of song suggestions for cocktail hour (but honestly probably didn’t need this, I didn’t even notice the music playing) and reception, and he knew exactly how to play to the crowd. We had everyone, from my 14 year old cousins to our 60-70something aunts & uncles out on the dance floor majority of the night. He came up to us a couple times asking for input but other than that he just did his thing :) For example at the end of the night most of our guests were just hanging out enjoying each other's presence and not a lot of people were on the dance floor, did we want to continue with that environment or level up the dance floor? spoiler alert - he leveled up the dance floor and we closed out the night with Mr. Brightside into Closer into A Sky Full of Stars. He truly killed it, we couldn't have asked for a better DJ.

Eric and Charlie helped with video and lighting and they did an amazing job capturing the night and bringing the room to life. Our photobooth was really fun also, and made a wonderful guestbook for us! We added clouds for our first dance and C02 guns, and they were honestly some of the best highlights of the day. SCE were professional, easy to communicate with, and really did a spectacular job, we truly recommend them for your wedding/event!

Our first meeting with DJ Seth sealed the deal for us.  His excitement to be working with us on our wedding was genuine.  He made us feel confident that our wedding would be nothing short of amazing and that he had the expertise to make sure our guests were having so much fun. During our 6-month meeting, Seth went over each part of the music questionnaire with us so we knew exactly what to do when filling it out. In between meetings, Seth was available via texts and email to answer any questions we had.  He even offered his professional opinion on our song choices when we asked him. The day of the wedding, Seth came to my husband and I and introduced himself, again.  He went over the details to make sure our day was exactly what we wanted.  Seth perfectly blended each of our ceremony songs so the music flowed.  During the reception, Seth's true talents shined!! He had the dance floor packed from the moment it opened to the end of the last song (and then the end of the encore song)! Our guests were throwing down on the dance floor and it was the reception of mine and my husband's dreams!! We received compliments from so many of our wedding guests about our DJ - compliments from my college-aged cousins to our grandparents! Seth used the playlists we created to get an idea of what kind of music we liked and played songs everyone was excited to dance to!! He even had my 92-year-old grandmother up and dancing! Our reception was seriously so much fun thanks to DJ Seth. I cannot say it enough - BOOK DJ SETH!!

From the very first Zoom meeting with Kevin Garrity from SCE Event Group, we knew he was the one. He instantly understood our vibe, listened to every like and dislike, and made us feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process. By the second meeting, it felt like we had known him forever. The planning form he sent us was incredibly helpful, it got us thinking about moments, transitions, and timing we never would’ve considered on our own. When we sent Kevin our playlists, he mixed everything flawlessly and created the perfect balance of EDM energy and classic crowd-pleasers. We were blown away by how effortlessly he tied everything together. He absolutely killed it on our wedding day. Every single person was on the dance floor all night. The energy never dipped, not once. The feedback from our friends and family has been unreal. People keep telling us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to, and Kevin is a huge reason why. His timing throughout the day was perfect, from the ceremony music fading in and out at the right moments, to keeping the reception flowing seamlessly. He was interactive, fun, and in tune with the crowd without ever being overbearing. We’ve been to weddings where the music is painfully loud (and we’re people who LOVE heavy dubstep and bass), so we asked Kevin to really pay attention to volume. Whatever magic he did, whether it was his equipment, his skill, or both... it was perfect. The sound was full and energetic but never overwhelming. We could actually enjoy the music AND still talk to our guests. On top of all that, Kevin is planning his own wedding right now, and somehow still showed up and delivered like an absolute rockstar. His professionalism, talent, and attention to detail truly stand out. We cannot thank Kevin and SCE Event Group enough. It was the best night of our lives and a night we, and our guests, will never forget. If you want a DJ who understands energy, mixes like a pro, cares deeply about your vision, and genuinely loves what he does, book Kevin. You won’t regret it.
