All of our guests absolutely loved the music and said that they could tell that Kevin had a great pulse on what the crowd wanted. We can’t thank him enough for helping make our wedding day perfect!

erent companies before SCE Event Group but I knew I wanted Jason for our wedding within the first 5 minutes of our initial meeting. He was just so nice and fun and understood the vibe we were going for (a lot of 2016 college-era music). I had provided him with a playlist of song suggestions for cocktail hour (but honestly probably didn’t need this, I didn’t even notice the music playing) and reception, and he knew exactly how to play to the crowd. We had everyone, from my 14 year old cousins to our 60-70something aunts & uncles out on the dance floor majority of the night. He came up to us a couple times asking for input but other than that he just did his thing :) For example at the end of the night most of our guests were just hanging out enjoying each other's presence and not a lot of people were on the dance floor, did we want to continue with that environment or level up the dance floor? spoiler alert - he leveled up the dance floor and we closed out the night with Mr. Brightside into Closer into A Sky Full of Stars. He truly killed it, we couldn't have asked for a better DJ.

Eric and Charlie helped with video and lighting and they did an amazing job capturing the night and bringing the room to life. floor was always lively! Paul was so great to work with, and he made sure our introductions, reception program, and announcements ran smoothly and were hyped/energetic to keep the party going. Our photobooth was really fun also, and made a wonderful guestbook for us! We added clouds for our first dance and C02 guns, and they were honestly some of the best highlights of the day. SCE were professional, easy to communicate with, and really did a spectacular job, we truly recommend them for your wedding/event!

Our first meeting with DJ Seth sealed the deal for us.  His excitement to be working with us on our wedding was genuine.  He made us feel confident that our wedding would be nothing short of amazing and that he had the expertise to make sure our guests were having so much fun. During our 6-month meeting, Seth went over each part of the music questionnaire with us so we knew exactly what to do when filling it out. In between meetings, Seth was available via texts and email to answer any questions we had.  He even offered his professional opinion on our song choices when we asked him. The day of the wedding, Seth came to my husband and I and introduced himself, again.  He went over the details to make sure our day was exactly what we wanted.  Seth perfectly blended each of our ceremony songs so the music flowed.  During the reception, Seth's true talents shined!! He had the dance floor packed from the moment it opened to the end of the last song (and then the end of the encore song)! Our guests were throwing down on the dance floor and it was the reception of mine and my husband's dreams!! We received compliments from so many of our wedding guests about our DJ - compliments from my college-aged cousins to our grandparents! Seth used the playlists we created to get an idea of what kind of music we liked and played songs everyone was excited to dance to!! He even had my 92-year-old grandmother up and dancing! Our reception was seriously so much fun thanks to DJ Seth. I cannot say it enough - BOOK DJ SETH!!

From the very first Zoom meeting with Kevin Garrity from SCE Event Group, we knew he was the one. He instantly understood our vibe, listened to every like and dislike, and made us feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process. By the second meeting, it felt like we had known him forever. The planning form he sent us was incredibly helpful, it got us thinking about moments, transitions, and timing we never would’ve considered on our own. When we sent Kevin our playlists, he mixed everything flawlessly and created the perfect balance of EDM energy and classic crowd-pleasers. We were blown away by how effortlessly he tied everything together. He absolutely killed it on our wedding day. Every single person was on the dance floor all night. The energy never dipped, not once. The feedback from our friends and family has been unreal. People keep telling us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to, and Kevin is a huge reason why. His timing throughout the day was perfect, from the ceremony music fading in and out at the right moments, to keeping the reception flowing seamlessly. He was interactive, fun, and in tune with the crowd without ever being overbearing. We’ve been to weddings where the music is painfully loud (and we’re people who LOVE heavy dubstep and bass), so we asked Kevin to really pay attention to volume. Whatever magic he did, whether it was his equipment, his skill, or both... it was perfect. The sound was full and energetic but never overwhelming. We could actually enjoy the music AND still talk to our guests. On top of all that, Kevin is planning his own wedding right now, and somehow still showed up and delivered like an absolute rockstar. His professionalism, talent, and attention to detail truly stand out. We cannot thank Kevin and SCE Event Group enough. It was the best night of our lives and a night we, and our guests, will never forget. If you want a DJ who understands energy, mixes like a pro, cares deeply about your vision, and genuinely loves what he does, book Kevin. You won’t regret it.

We were so thrilled when we had confirmation that he was available for our date since he's one of their more popular DJs, and he absolutely crushed it at our reception. We had a couple of calls with him throughout the planning process, and each time we left knowing we were in the best hands. He executed all of our requests and preferences perfectly, his energy is infectious, and we kept getting compliments all night from guests about how amazing he was! Him and his partner, Bird, are so kind and professional and will be the perfect addition to your wedding day.

Several guests, some even experienced in the DJ/music industry complimented Chris. This just reinforced knowing we made an excellent choice.  SCE as a whole is a breeze to work with. When we added lighting a mere 2 weeks before the wedding, all it took was a simple email inquiry and choosing the lighting we wanted.  Music and lighting truly sets the vibe for your wedding and 2 weeks later I am still mentally reliving ours because I had so much fun.

CE event group were a 10/10 from start to finish for our wedding. Leading up to everything the communication was great. Jason strikes a great balance of listening to and incorporating your preferences while also sharing best practices and insights from his experience. As a couple who loved music and knew the general vibe we were going before but didn’t know the first thing about planning a wedding or a dj set, this was exactly what we needed. He was accommodating to what we wanted while helping keep us on track. He was friendly, communicative, and available for months and even years (we started planning early) before our big day.  On the day of the wedding Jason absolutely blew us away. First off the music was amazing and he kept the dance floor electric all night. His set lived up to exactly what we talked about with just the right amount of surprises and creativity. Of course the music is the most important job for a dj and he crushed it, no notes.  However, what impressed us almost more than how much he crushed the music was his level of organization and dedication to making sure our night ran smoothly. He acted as a de facto wedding coordinator in the way that he kept us in the loop, checked in with us throughout the night, and partnered with our other vendors. The day-of coordinator from our venue left some things to be desired (another review for another day) and I am convinced if it was not for Jason we would have had some major hiccups. I never would have expected the DJ from our wedding to be the one keeping everything on track but Jason was there every step of the way. I could honestly talk forever about how impressive Jason was and how thankful I am that he was at our wedding. He made it the party of our lifetime while also making sure things ran smooth and we weren’t caught off guard by anything. My only complaint is that I won’t ever have another wedding where I can hire Jason. I’ll have to find an excuse to throw another huge party so he can DJ. If you read this far in this review and aren’t convinced, I don’t know what else to tell you. Your wedding is the biggest party you’ll ever throw for yourself - put it in the hands Jason and you won’t regret it.

They will be hired again for us through different milestones of our life - it was one of a kind. The crowd was up on the dance floor the whole night, the energy was through the moon. The professionalism is out of this world. They are one of kind listeners, the key is when you do meets - if you tell them what you want, they DELIVER. You will have the best wedding of your life if you go with this group, we are still getting compliments from our guests. Chris made it easy by asking for 25 must play songs plus a questioner to understand what we want to be played at the reception and we couldn't wait to hear the final product. From there he made a mix that had all of our songs, songs we loved but didn’t think to play, and everything had a smooth transition to keep the energy flowing. We didn’t have an empty dance floor all night because of Chris’s talent. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. If you're seeking a high-energy, crowd-pleasing night that you and your guests will be talking about for years to come, look no further. You'll be missing out if your DJ isn't Chris Obando.
