that during the reception the bar was mostly empty because everyone was on the dance floor the whole time. People came up to us afterwards asking who the DJ was and if we can give them his contact info. We told Nick in our meetings we wanted a good mix of classics and modern music to keep the vibe up all night and he delivered. He was playing all our favorite bangers and keeping everyone out of their seats. His ability to read a room and know how to keep the vibes high is unmatched. On top of that, he doesn’t make it feel like it’s just his job. He was talking to some of my family before hand and telling them how pumped he was, he genuinely cares about making it the best experience ever. He played every song we requested while mixing in a lot of his own stuff and we were blown away at what he was able to do. At some point he did a sick remix of two of my favorite songs growing up and I didn’t even request them (Dynamite and Don’t Stop Believing) I’m not convinced he can’t read minds. We had so much fun just talking to him during our meetings and having him perform at our wedding. Best DJ ever hands down and would recommend him for any event.

e crowd on the dance floor was impeccable. They loved every song played! We also had SCE do a string trio and photobooth for us as well. The string trio was the perfect addition to cocktail hour and our photobooth attendant, Brittany was so sweet! Thank you SCE for being so wonderful and making our wedding one to remember!!

Pre-planning meetings were always a blast with him. The photo booth add was also a hit! I'm so glad we added this through SCE cause the book we got to take home with a copy of everyone's photos is a keepsake we will keep forever. Thank you Kevin and SCE for such a fun night!

Our consultation meeting with Chris was wonderful - he was warm & charismatic, organized, and very professional. It was clear that he was great at his job. It was an easy 'YES' from us. Moving forward with booking SCE was very straightforward and streamlined, which helped make the planning process much less stressful. We really appreciated that they offer so many additional services (i.e lighting add-ons, photobooth, etc), and that all those services were explained on their Youtube channel (so helpful!). Anytime we had a question or decided to add an addition service, we received a response quickly and our contract was promptly updated. We never worried about things falling through the cracks. Our Timeline meeting with Chris a few weeks before the wedding was very exciting - He helped guide us through the flow of the evening. We felt so supported in any & all of our decisions, like nothing could go wrong. Fast forward to our wedding day: surprise, surprise - nothing went wrong! Everything was perfect. Chris and his assistant Anthony ensured the night went as smoothly as possible! Chris checked in with us periodically to make sure we had enough time to eat and drink water (thank you Chris!!) before moving onto the next part of the program. His energy was IMMACULATE. He hyped everyone up and he kept the dance floor FULL. When we say 'FULL' we mean it. The amount of people who said they were too busy dancing to remember to take photos of the night... We knew we loved him, but all of our guests left our reception loving him too. We had an amazing time, it was exactly how we hoped our wedding would turn out. Thank you Chris, Anthony, and SCE for everything! We will always, always, always recommend you to friends and family & we hope we find a reason to work with you again!

His MC skills were great and even had some perfectly timed jokes. He was extremely responsive throughout and also very uplifting as we went through the preparation process. My wife and I will be lucky enough to attend another wedding in the coming months where he will be DJing again and we can't wait! SCE and Kevin are a great group to work with!

Communication was always quick and easy, and Paul was always available whenever we had questions or ideas. They also coordinated seamlessly with our venue, which made the entire day run so smoothly. From all of the behind-the-scenes planning to the day of the wedding, Paul made sure everything was exactly how we envisioned it. He brought such high energy and an amazing personality that made everyone feel comfortable and excited all night long. He got personal with our families and bridal party, kept everyone laughing, and had our guests on the dance floor the entire night while making everything flow perfectly. The music was amazing from start to finish — ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He played everything we requested and completely nailed the vibe we wanted. The lighting package was also very well done and added so much to the atmosphere of the reception. We also loved how much he genuinely cares about his couples — even taking photos with us and sharing our special day on his social media. Overall, this is hands down one of the best DJ companies around. The pricing was very reasonable for the quality and experience they provide, and we are so grateful we chose them for our wedding!

We filled out a detailed online form to shape the wedding day experience, and it worked out perfectly for us. It offered a great balance between having control and also letting the professionals do what they do best. I would book them again in a heartbeat!

The dance floor was packed all night and we had so many guests comment on how great the music selection was.  I highly recommend booking with SCE Entertainment- you won’t be disappointed!

We also hired a saxophonist, Art, through SCE, and in collaboration with Jeff, they created an absolutely epic bridal party entrance led by the sax player—one of the most talked-about moments of the night. From there on, Jeff kept the dance floor going all night long. He seamlessly mixed in our unique requests, including a DMB mix, a full “girl anthems” set, and pop-punk, while keeping everyone dancing—from our bridal party to my grandma. Music was one of the most important parts of our wedding, and Jeff, Art, and SCE exceeded every expectation. We cannot recommend them more highly.

y our last prep call, it felt like we were good friends. He's super easy going, fun, and knows how to keep your dancefloor bumpin all night long. We gave Kevin a few songs we wanted played during our reception dinner and said if there was additional time they should play whatever they thought guests would like. Teddi played Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls to wrap up dinner and the whole room was singing along. It was one of my favorite moments of the reception. We can't recommend this awesome duo enough!

respect and awful service that we received from SCE Event Group that we received leading up to, on, and after our wedding. Our problems were in three areas: 1. DISRESPECT: Throughout our planning calls, our DJ consistently made gendered comments that made us uncomfortable. During our reception, he made sarcastic comments about our choreographed first dance and our parents’ and MOH/best man speeches. He also cut me off during my husband’s and my’s thank you remarks. 2. LACK OF ATTENTION TO DETAIL: When reviewing the songs we sent for our parent’s entrance songs, he asked us to differentiate between two very different songs from the artist we sent. Admittedly, it was not in his native language, but all he had to do was listen to the first 5 seconds of each (which had incredibly different intros..) and match the characters in the song title. We didn’t think this would be too much for a professional DJ to handle considering recognizing music and beats is a core part of his job? He also the venue name wrong while MCing our reception. 3. DISREGARD OF PLANNING & FEEDBACK: Our biggest issue. We spent a long time before the wedding filling out SCE’s portal detailing the music and vibe we wanted. We spent hours planning / reviewing our selections with our DJ (4 different calls ~45 minutes each) and were taken aback at how little of that planning surfaced during our reception. The DJ started our second dance set with a slow dance for our guests to join in– something we explicitly indicated we didn’t want as we had widowed relatives that would feel left out. My husband and I separately went up to the DJ to tell him to cut the slow song ASAP, but when we asked, he told each of us “when I’m done with this song”. This behavior repeated itself throughout the night as the DJ deviated from the agreed upon musical styles we requested. Both my husband and I as well as members of our wedding party went up to DJ Paul Knox to request other songs / tell him to move on, but we were told by him “we’ll have time for that later” – we were still getting these comments 45 minutes before the end of our reception. It genuinely felt like we were in a tug-of-war with our DJ to get the music we selected and discussed to be played at our wedding. After the wedding, we had a call with the founder of SCE Event Group (Jason Jani), to express our disappointment with Paul Knox the services. During the call Jason seemed apologetic and said that he will check with Paul but that he would “fully refunded us, even if out of my own pocket, if necessary” (his words). When we heard this we were impressed and appreciated a business righting its wrongs. After this conversation, we got an email from Jason that after review of the playlist and “footage showing an engaged crowd and a full dance floor” (which was true because we tried to make the best of bad situation, with us / our wedding party dragging as many people as they could on the dance floor), he denied offering a full refund, stated that they would only offer a 50% refund with the caveat that we could not share our negative experience anywhere. We decided that we would rather not take the money so we could speak the truth about our terrible experience and prevent anyone else from having their special day ruined by SCE Event Group.

The music and dance party was a very important part of the night to us and Jason went above and beyond to deliver exactly what we were hoping for. Our guests shared that Jason was the best wedding DJ they've ever experienced and everyone was up on the dance floor having a blast from the very first song. We also added the Photo Booth, which our guests had a ton of fun with. Jason's team was professional and friendly. Jason delivered the perfect balance of energy, song choice, and fun. 12/10 would recommend partnering with Jason and SCE Event Group! He rocked!!

If you want a DJ who is organized, talented, and genuinely cares about making your wedding unforgettable, Paul is the one. Hiring him was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Highly, highly recommend!

and it felt like he truly took the time to understand the energy that we wanted for our wedding day. He made the entire process so easy up through the big day and helped make it stress free and fun. He worked with us to include all of the different and special moments that we wanted in our ceremony and in our reception seamlessly from a choreographed dance by our family to a table by table photo dash with our guests. All of our guests absolutely loved the music and said that they could tell that Kevin had a great pulse on what the crowd wanted. We can’t thank him enough for helping make our wedding day perfect!
