Originally built in 1915, the barn's centennial celebration seemed like a fitting time to start. In 2015, family, friends, and neighbors poured plenty of time and effort into making Schafer Century Barn a memorable and romantic event location. Since then, the farm has hosted lots of couples' magical milestone celebrations. Soon-to-be-weds are invited to hold serene outdoor ceremonies overlooking the pond. The happy couple can say their "I do's" as the scenic surroundings of the farm are reflected in the water. Afterwards, guests can enjoy an intimate reception in the barn. String lighting and light wood tones create a warm atmosphere from start to finish. Large doors open out onto the grounds for a starry end to the celebrations. They offer a range of services to help get the big day up and running. This includes planning assistance and service staff for the big day. On-site dressing rooms are available for the wedding party. This gives the happy couple a relaxing space to get ready for their once-in-a-lifetime occasion. An additional time slot is also granted for the rehearsal dinner. Depending on the package chosen, couples have 1-2 days for setup and cleanup. This leaves plenty of time to tie up any loose ends. With room for up to 200 guests, this farm-style wedding venue accommodates events large and small.
