ld normally go 3 times a month. On one of our visits, my husband (boyfriend at that time) suggested we do a tour of the winery. We fell in love with it even more. That day my boyfriend at the time said it was “our” place and we had to get married there; at that time I couldn’t have agreed more. We loved their philosophy, greenery, and staff. A few months later we were engaged and went straight to Schnebly’s to get a copy of their contract. That day we met Jeannine, she was their wedding coordinator. Jeannine was the sweetest, most professional , caring person we had met. She would correspond with us, answer all our question and most importantly, got to know us as a couple. Meeting her made our decision to get married there much easier. We signed our contract a year and 5 months before our wedding. 5 months before our wedding we emailed Jeannine only to receive a response from the owner informing us that Jeannine no longer worked there. We were devastated. That should have been our first warning to walk away. The owner, Denisse was the most incompetent person we worked with (and that’s us being nice). When we signed the contract we had to choose their preferred vendor in order to save $2,000 fee for an outside caterer. Well, the day before the wedding their caterer informed us that he had no tables for our wedding and it was our responsibility to supply his catering tables, though this was never mentioned in the past. Not to mention, the day before the wedding we had our rehearsal- no one from the venue helped me nor my party. Once the rehearsal was over, the owner approached us to inform us that we would not have a bartender the next day (hours away from the wedding!!!!) I cried in frustration (the owner just rolled her eyes) and demanded to view the contract (I had left my copy at home) the contract stated that we had paid for a bartender for the entire time of the wedding yet, the owner said we would not have one. My husband and I were so upset by her words, actions, and untrusting formality that our dear friends called several companies to hire bartenders (still just hours away!). I was so thankful that my friends were willing to help and we were hours away from our dream day and ending the relationship from the venue from hell! The morning of the wedding, the owner told our NEW bartender that he was not allowed to touch the alcoholic beverages WE HAD PURCHASED AND OWNED!!! In the end, we paid for double bartenders, had to outsource every element of the wedding, and received no help from the winery. YES this is a beautiful place, very unique with exotic wines and beer, but the level of poor customer service from the owner was disheartening and they lost lots of customers. If the owner Denisse is the wedding coordinator, I would not recommend this place for a wedding. It is so unfortunate because we loved going there and the staff there are extremely nice and dedicated.

outsource on everything you need for the big day and it's in a bad area. Most of our guests got lost on the way home and homestead/ Florida city is not the safest area.

utiful wedding venues they'd ever been to. The staff is helpful, reachable, and very nice. The ONLY reason they do not get a 5 star rating from my hubby and me - we purchased wine from them for the cocktail hour and it didn't come out until the reception. They also told us (during our planning) that we would only be charged per bottle consumed, however they charged us per case opened. Also, a plus for us was that we got to choose all of our vendors as opposed to most places in Miami where catering is included at a very high cost.
