t warm, romantic, and personal, and this venue brought that vision to life perfectly.
One of the things we loved most was how magical the property felt. Guests enter through the house and then step out into the backyard space, which creates such a beautiful first impression. The greenery throughout the venue makes it feel intimate, peaceful, and romantic. We had our ceremony on the back lawn in front of the peach trees, and it was absolutely stunning.
We actually got married on the hottest day in March at 102 degrees, but surprisingly it never felt unbearable because of all the shade and greenery throughout the venue. The staff did a great job keeping guests comfortable by providing water and keeping the indoor spaces cool for anyone who needed a break from the heat.
We had around 145 guests, and the space accommodated everyone comfortably without feeling crowded. The venue photographed beautifully, especially during sunset and into the evening. Every area felt picture-perfect without needing excessive decor. The greenery was the focal point and then we added in pops of color to give the springtime garden vibe.
The bridal suite was also completely worth adding on for early access. My bridesmaids and I were able to get ready onsite, do hair and makeup together, and actually enjoy a calm morning before the wedding. The photos we took there turned out amazing.
One of the biggest reasons we chose the Farmhouse was the value. The venue included so much for the price, and booking about a year and a half in advance gave us plenty of time to make payments and plan everything out without feeling rushed.
Throughout the planning process, I primarily communicated with Bri and Kylee. They were always professional, responsive, and supportive whenever I had questions. I did find that I needed to ask detailed questions to fully understand some package details, especially regarding the bar options. For example, I didnât initially realize champagne is not included unless you purchase a champagne toast package. We also chose the cash bar option and had to request a list of the alcohol selections included. In the end, everything worked out well and our guests were happy.
I would also recommend discussing dessert setup ahead of time if you are bringing your own desserts. We didnât realize we needed to coordinate dessert plates.
The food was amazing. We chose the taco bar, and guests still talk about how good it was.
I also highly recommend using vendors from the venueâs preferred vendor list. We chose our photo/video team and DJ from their recommendations, and having vendors already familiar with the venue made everything feel seamless.
I hired an outside wedding coordinator in addition to the venue coordinators, and together they made the day feel magical and that everything was taken care of for us.
One of the best compliments we received afterward was that the entire wedding felt so âus.â The venue gave us enough flexibility to truly personalize the day while still feeling supported throughout the process.
Overall, we are so happy we chose the Farmhouse and would absolutely recommend it to couples looking for a romantic garden-inspired venue with an upscale backyard feel.

, over email, and even the morning of the wedding â yet they still managed to mishandle some of the most basic, essential parts of our day.
The menâs dressing room was a disaster. My fiancĂŠ and the groomsmen found their shirts hung randomly in a closet, and the clothing rack provided by the venue was rusted. The rust transferred onto their shirts, leaving stains we couldnât remove. No groom should be dealing with rustâstained clothing minutes before the ceremony.
Then there was the cake. I was never served my own wedding cake. I had one bite during the cakeâcutting, and the rest was thrown away instead of being boxed for us. After paying for it and planning for it, I didnât even get to enjoy it.
And the coordination? A complete mess. We were told Talia and Savannah were our coordinators, but the moment the wedding started, they vanished. Someone we believe was named Bri suddenly took over, and to this day, we have no idea who actually ran our wedding. The lack of communication and accountability was unbelievable.
The next day, we reached out to Schnepf Farms hoping for clarity or at least acknowledgment of what went wrong. Instead, the conversation only confirmed how disorganized and disconnected their team truly is. There was never an offer to pay for the ruined shirts or even cover dry cleaning. They refused to take responsibility for the emails they never responded to, instead gaslighting us with, âWell, if we did miss it, we apologize.â The worst part is that we werenât even asking for compensation â we ended the conversation by giving gentle feedback about communication going forward. When we walked out, I realized I forgot to ask about the deposit. My husband went back inside â less than ten seconds later â and walked in on the staff making comments about me, including, âIâm not her personal bartender.â That moment said more about their professionalism than anything else.
To be clear, I never asked anyone to wait on me hand and foot. Savannah asked us before the grand entrance what we wanted to drink â and then never brought it. Guests even asked why we had nothing at our table. Our photographer was the one who finally got us our first drink, and for the rest of the night, we got our own.
For a venue that markets itself as a wedding specialist, the level of disorganization, carelessness, and disregard for basic professionalism was unacceptable. These werenât small inconveniences â they directly affected our experience, our photos, our stress, and our memories of a day that should have been handled with care.
I would not recommend Schnepf Farms to any couple who wants their wedding treated with the respect and competence it deserves.

Letâs just say the rest is history once we set our eyes on SCHNEPF FARMS. Before we booked our venue, we were able to meet with Miss Riley who would soon be our wedding coordinator. She provided the whole breakdown of the prices, vendors, and the inside/outside of what the barn would look like the day of our wedding. They even had our date available and most venues did not have the date when we were searching. Booking with Schnepf Farms was truly an amazing experience, they made our lives so much easier and stress free! I know a lot of brides go through a tremendous amount of stress when planning their weddings, but the best part about have an amazing wedding coordinator and an all-inclusive venue is there is nothing to worry about. If I had to plan my photographer, entrees, flowers, etc., my wedding coordinator made sure I was on top of all the planning and never too late for meet and greets. The best part in my opinion about having Riley as our wedding coordinator was our budget would never go over the amount that was anticipated when booking. For example, if I wanted extra florals in the barn from our florist, she made sure to include it in our already set budget and made sure it never went over. Honestly, I never had to worry about any details on my wedding and she would tell me âlet me worry about these thingsâ.
The day of the wedding was even better, everything was so beautiful and exactly what I had imagined when planning with Riley. She made sure we were on time with everything (wedding cake, dance, speeches, etc.) to ensure we had the best time on our special day. The staff went above and beyond, especially our venue coordinator, who met with us multiple times to figure out our food selections, decor usage, and when we could schedule our rehearsal. The only hiccup we encountered was that we couldn't be on the grass for the wedding rehearsal. However, we worked around it and everything turned out great! They also provided us with a recommended vendors list which helped us sort out who we wanted, what we could afford, and the vendors they recommended exceeded our expectations. Everything ran smoothly on our wedding day, and the timing of everything was seamless. It also helped that we hired a day of coordinator that the venue worked wonderfully with to make everything picture perfect. Mikayla really really helped during the day as the coordinator, as well as answering all of my millions of questions trying to figure out what I was doing or what the venue offered! She even served us our food first without us getting up and getting it, a super kind gesture that really made us feel important.
