Schoen's Bridal World

After shopping around in the Wichita area for my wedding dress, I hadn't found anything I loved. My mother got her dress from Schoen's 25 years ago and suggested we stop in on our way through town. Their selection is fantastic and Eve was incredibly hospitable. I went ended up finding my perfect dress at a discount. Eve made sure it fit me like a glove and I have gotten so many compliments on how beautiful it looked. Schoen's takes a special interest in their brides and I would recommend them to anyone. The drive is totally worth it!

This is a great little store in Kansas. They know what they are doing when finding you a dress and truly want you to find what is best for you. They are also very capable in alterations and do a fantastic job. Great, great place to buy your dress and accessories!

I grew up in Downs and always dreamt of getting my wedding dress at Schoen’s. My grandma used to work there as a seamstress a long time ago so I have an emotional connection to it. Eve is so great! She is very honest and will offer her professional insight. There is a huge selection of dresses so you can find your perfect dress. Alterations are also free here which is awesome!!

So, I'm originally from Osborne (about 12 minutes from Downs) and I knew I'd be going to Schoen's to find my dress. The girls there are awesome. I wasn't sure at all what kind of dress I wanted, so they pulled anything they thought I'd like. I found my dress and am absolutely in love with it! The free alterations are an absolute bonus. Would suggest Schoen's to everyone!!

I cannot say enough great things about this dress store! Eve is absolutely amazing and so helpful with everything you need! Free alterations is unheard of and I drove over 12 hours to come get this dress at this store and do not have any regrets! They have so many dresses to choose from and Eve was so flexible! Highly recommend coming here no matter where you live!

Eve, the store owner is amazing. I went in with a picture of the style of dress I liked and she found one with the same style that I liked even better! She gets to know her clients and matches the dress with their personality. Perfect dress shop!

Eve is amazing! She picked a dress I didn't think I'd like, and it was exactly what I was looking for once I tried it on! Great place and wonderful prices, free alterations!!!

This store was amazing! There are no extra fees for alterations and they have some of the best designers that you see in the bridal magazines. She even fixed the veil I was borrowing from my sister and added beads to match. She was so wonderful to work with!

Owner of store immediately found about 12 dresses throughout the store to address the style I wanted and I ended up falling in love with one that I never expected to. She listens to her clients well and gets creative. Even loaned me a skirt for underneath the dress.

My wife went to this store at the suggestion of a coworker and it was the best choice she could have made. She had gone to a lot of designer stores and other big wedding stores, but this place beat them all. They had Alfred Angelo dresses for almost half of what the actual A.A. store was selling them for. All of her bridesmaids got their dresses from here and everything came out awesome. I would recommend anyone who doesn't live in either Wichita or Kansas City to go to this store. They perform all of the alterations and you can walk out with your dress on the same day.

Schoen's Bridal World is in my hometown. It's a little over 3 1/2 hours away, so initially I hesitated to go back there thinking it would be too far for me to get back for dress fittings since I worked weekends. However, it was totally worth the drive! I went in and gave Evie (the store owner) my budget and she worked within it. She never forced me to look at a dress that was above my budget. She also listened very closely to what I had in mind for my dress. She did have me try on different styles. I tried on around a dozen dresses and narrowed it down to 3. My dad came into the store and so I tried the three on for him. That was when Evie told me the price of each dress. She just happened to put them in the order she thought I liked and she was right on the money. The last dress I tried on for my dad was the keeper since both my mom and I were crying! My dad even helped choose the veil out. The best part was I chose the dress that was actually under my budget. Evie has a great selection of dresses, veils, and all other bridal accessories. The value is also great because most alterations are FREE! So yes, I had to pay a little extra gas to go to Downs (though it was a nice excuse to visit my parents) but it was much cheaper than paying hundreds of dollars in alterations! Thankfully, I was able to get my dress fitted properly in just one fitting. I decided I wanted blue shoes and she dyed them for only $5. Evie has such a great eye for sizing and what style suits each body. She has degrees in sewing and fashion design, so she has the experience. She is also very nice and I enjoyed working with her. I know it's a long trek for Kansas City but I felt it was totally worth it. Women from all around western Kansas have been going there for many years so they know what a gem it is!
