I wish I could give him more stars. Punctual. Talented. The Photo Booth was a hit!!! So many memories made!
DJ Rey was our wedding DJ at The Cooper Estate and he was absolutely amazing to work with! He is incredibly professional, kind, and knows how to read a room perfectly. The question...
naire he provided before the event was very thorough and he made sure no stone was left unturned. We loved the security of knowing what was going to happen and when it was going to happen.
DJ Rey also knew exactly when to play each song, making sure all of our guests from different generations were up and dancing. He also created an amazing environment with the uplighting and dance lights he provided (it was absolutely worth adding on).
Our wedding dance floor was so much fun and we have DJ Rey to thank for that! We loved the energy and enthusiasm he brought and we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. He followed our song requests exactly and followed our wishes about not taking requests. 10/10, A+, 5 stars. Thank you so much DJ Rey!!
We had an AMAZING experience with Rey and SCJ Events. From the very first email with Rey it was completely positive. I had so many questions that he was able to answer fully for me...
and very quickly. We also found their pricing to be excellent, and even came with extra perks like the photo booth and lighting.
I was pretty specific in the "look" I wanted for my reception, and Rey picked up on it right away. He sent me photos and descriptions of exactly what I was to expect with his equipment and different options to be able to fit in with my decor. Highly recommend his all white set up, its very sleek and pretty but could go with any decor easily.
In addition, the music was awesome! We had a spotify playlist with several songs and he literally played all the songs we wanted and even added his own selections based off the style/genre we were going for in our playlist. I honestly didn't know what to expect with my guests, would people dance or just sit around? Well they danced the-whole-time thanks to the DJ! We had so many guests come up to us and really loved the music and told us just how much fun they had and we can only attribute that to Rey.
We can't recommend Rey and SCJ Events enough and I know anyone that uses their services will not be disappointed!! Thank you Rey for making our wedding soo much fun and an event to remember!!!

The photobooth that came with our package was an absolute highlight! Not only was it a hit with our guests, but the attendant was incredibly sweet and attentive. They helped us create a stunning photo guest book album, ensuring that every moment was captured beautifully. The attention to detail and organization at the end was impeccable, and we were handed our cherished memories in a neatly arranged album.
When it comes to the DJ services, SCJ truly shined. His ability to curate the perfect playlist had the entire crowd on their feet, dancing the night away. We were impressed by his professionalism and how easy he was to work with. Communication was seamless, with prompt responses that made the planning process stress-free.
The DJ plays such an important role in making your wedding day magical and we truly feel we picked the perfect company for it! We wholeheartedly recommend his services to anyone looking for a talented, responsive, and personable DJ who goes above and beyond to ensure a fantastic celebration. Thank you, SCJ for making our wedding an absolute success!

e, al of our guests loved him. He was very professional, punctual, friendly, made everyone feel relaxed and got us in a good mood. Where is else ca you get Miami base, Reggaeton, Caribbean, Afrobeats, and Bollywood on the dance floor while keeping up tempo? Nowhere, stick to Ray!

Rey was professional, organized, and made the whole process pain free.
We filled out a small form with our wants and likes, we opted to provide a Spotify playlist as well and Rey ...
did a wonderful job picking songs out of that playlist. Overall had a great time and really enjoyed his selection or Spanish music.
Thank you Rey for making our special day perfect!
DJ Rey did a phenomenal job at our wedding. We provided him with a unique and eclectic list of our favorite music and he blended and transitioned through songs with such precision ...
and ease, it felt like he had been working with that playlist forever. From start to finish, it was perfection. His presence was kind, humble, but very much in control. Forever grateful!

DJ Rey transformed an already great day into an unforgettable one! Global events made planning our wedding a complicated and frustrating experience, and SCJ Events was a shining li...
ght through all of it. From the first conversation, throughout various postponements, and finally having a date, Rey was courteous, understanding, and incredibly accommodating. He helped reduce the mental fatigue of planning out the night of entertainment, with all the right recommendations, at the right time (Can't stress enough how important this is). SCJ Events provided the music and photo booth services for the night, and both were fantastic. All songs, from quirky requests to universal favorites were available, and his ability to curate the right atmosphere and playlist kept the party alive the entire night. We still receive plenty of compliments months after the wedding about how fun the evening was, how great the music and photo booth were, and how neither the dance floor nor the booth are were ever empty once after dinner. We highly recommend SCJ Events and DJ Rey!

mes, and through at all, he was so accommodating and gracious. He added customized services that we asked him for (including gobo with custom logo, custom photo booth wall, up lights, percussionist) and he took care to go through every detail with us to make sure everything was to our liking and that everything worked out according to our vision. He was referred to us by two friends who also used them for their weddings and who also loved him. We are so thankful to have had him as our DJ and our very long awaited wedding could not have gone any better. Everyone had an absolute blast, especially the bride. Thank you so much DJ Rey!!!

e wanted to play at our wedding so that was a plus and he was very kind, attentive, and patient with minor changes that we made throughout the night. We had songs by specific artists and certain points within songs that we wanted to start or stop at, and he executed everything perfectly. He was also great on the mic. We highly recommend him, he helped bring our vision to life and make our wedding better than we imagined! :)
Rey was an amazing DJ at our wedding! He played everything I asked for and even added songs to keep our guest on the dance floor! Definitely recommend Rey!!!!

th the Ceremony, Reception, Speeches, and Dancing. He provided a PDF Guide that helped in this endeavor. He also dedicated time to visit the venue with us - to ensure he planned his lighting / augment lighting correctly. The day of the wedding DJ Rey was perfect - he was there on time - setup the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception to perfection. Best of all - DJ Rey did an amazing job keeping our Guests entertained. He introduced our Speakers, Wedding Party, etc. throughout the night. He played excellent music during the dancing portion of our wedding - keeping our guests entertained with different genres - we danced for 3 to 4 hours!!!!
Rey is the best in the business!! He knew exactly the prefect music to play at our wedding! Everyone came up to me to tell me how awesome he was. Highly recommend!

We had such a great experience with this company and with DJ Rey. Extremely professional and willing to work with our schedules and requests. I had gone to 2 other weddings who had...
contracted his services so I knew the music was going to be awesome. Each wedding had very different crowds (age ranges, ethnicity, style, etc...) and he was able to adjust the music type to ensure everyone was dancing at all times. I basically told DJ Rey the type of people who were going, and the kind of music/ vibe we wanted, and he ran with it. We did not provide any list of music selections to stick to (only a couple restrictions like no "Cha Cha Slide"..lol). We put complete trust in this DJ to come up with great music selections, and he did not disappoint.
For my wedding, we also added on a photo booth option. It was worth every single penny. The guests had such a great time with all of the props they provided, and the style of the photo booth. There was also an attendant at the photo booth at all times to ensure everything ran smoothly.
Great experience overall and would definitely contact again for other events.

ight play the wrong one. He didn't. He killed it. We also listed some artists to play during dancin, which he did. Then he kind of took over after feeling the vibe of our wedding group. He was amazing!! Everyone had an amazing time, I wish I could post the videos
Thank you so much for making my wedding the best!!!
Rey was incredibly easy to work with and after just one meeting knew exactly what we were looking for our wedding to sound and feel like. I didn't have to worry about a thing after...
our initial meeting until the last song was played. We asked for a certain mix of music from spanish, to oldies to top 40 and he delivered. I think the highest compliment he could get was that our friends booked him for their wedding first thing in the morning the day after my wedding.
DJ Hurricane Rey was great! He was responsive to all of my questions, provided me with a step by step form so that I could tell him exactly what I was looking for, and followed all...
of my directions to a tee. My dad and I did a fun remix father daughter dance and DJ rey made the perfect mix for us. My dad also reached out to him the day before because he needed to incorporate some music into his speech and DJ rey worked with him to get it just right, everything turned out perfect! He took all of my requests and used his own creative freedom to put together the best mix for our wedding, ranging from oldies, to slow songs to rock and roll, to the fun modern music that got EVERYONE on the dance floor. I highly recommend DJ rey to anyone!

derstand that things happen, but the day of the wedding we were confused and surprised to see a dj that we had never met before. That's an unsettling feeling. Like I said things happen... but we never got a phone call or email from dj Rey with an apology, explanation, or any follow up as to how things went at are wedding. During the ceremony, right as I (the bride) was going to walk down the isle the power shut off and we had the dj yell across the ceremony to the wedding coordinator "we lost power". Not sure who's fault or if that was just a freak accident that couldn't have been avoided. The part that got me and my husband... the dj is supposed to get the crowd going and liven up the party... take control! While the wedding party and my husband and I were being introduced... everyone was practically sitting down in their seats. Same with cake cutting, garter toss etc. My husband and I had to go to the dj many times and say "get this party going"!!!! We had an amazing day, however music was definitely a disappointment.

Hurricane Rey was absolutely a pleasure to work with. At first we were skeptical about a wedding DJ but Hurricane Rey was so amazing that he lay to rest any hesitation and anxiety...
we had about having a DJ instead of a live band. He met with us on several occasions to make sure all of our needs, wants and hopes for a great dance floor were met. He was beyond cooperative and open to our input. He made sure everyone got on the dance floor and had fun! He was so easy to work with – professional, responsive, flexible and downright nice and friendly. I would recommend Hurricane Rey for any occasion.
I can't say enough about you guys!!! You were ON POINT! From being readily available during planning... giving us amazing advice and keeping the dance floor hopping all night long!...

out how awesome my DJ was; people going out of their way to tell us. I'm not sure that he even realizes how good he is. I specified a list of genres that I wanted, and he played the best songs out of those genres. Everyone was on the dance floor all night. He knew exactly when to play each song and payed attention to the crowd and what they were liking. We made the best decision hiring him and no matter what party we have in the future, he will be getting a phone call...my sister has even hired him for her wedding! Thank you so much Rey for being a part of our special day and making it the absolute success that it was. See you in two months for my sister's wedding!!!!!!! :-)
They say better late than never and here is my WELL DESERVED review of DJ Hurricane Ray.
My wedding was in August of 2016. Ray had originally DJ'ed at a friends wedding about 3 y...
ears ago and at my sister's wedding 2 years ago. My wife and I knew that we had to book Ray and no one else for our once in a lifetime wedding.
I contacted Ray in February of 2016 and told him I was planning my wedding in 6 months and he told me without hesitation "I'll be there". My wife and I had landed the best DJ in Miami; someone I'm now proud to call a friend of the family.
All I handed Ray was a few of the key songs and I told him to take creative freedom with the rest. Ray did not disappoint. Who says Sunday weddings are slow? School and work the next day were of no importance - everyone was on the dance floor until the end of the night.
Ray, thank you once again for doing what you do. You'll always have a seat at our table for a Palacios Family event.
Warm Regards,
Rafael "El Caballo" and Gabriela Palacios
After 10 months and a 2 months old baby we are able to take time and thank our wedding DJ. We got married April 24, 2016 and DJ Rey was one of the highlights of our wedding day. Re...
y was so understanding and patience from the moment I reached out to him on the phone to our first meeting at the wedding venue. I had a groomzilla in charge of a lot of the wedding preparation since I was 2 months pregnant and let me tell you Rey was able to meet all of our entertainment needs. Our guests had a blast with all the music, the live drummer and the "hora loca" . Our guests did not stop dancing once the party started and DJ Rey hit the mixer. Thank you DJ Rey for making our special day a one of a lifetime. You are definitely the best DJ in Miami!! My husband and I are grateful that you were part of our Wedding.
Well what can I say... DJ Hurricane Ray had the party going from the get go. If it wasn't for the venue putting an end to the party at midnight, he could have kept the party going ...
till sunrise, literally. He was very interactive with the crowd and would always somehow fit songs that were requested by guest within a couple minutes. I would highly recommend SCJ Events for any occasion, DJ Hurricane Ray will certainly make it a memorable one!
Rey was the absolute BEST! He was incredibly responsive to all my emails, and helped me put together a timeline for my wedding. The dance floor was packed the entire night and even...

ight, everyone had no voice from singing and could barely move after dancing. He was able to keep the flow of the wedding going seamlessly. Even better, people loved the vibe and with their eagerness started trickling on the dance floor before we even finished eating.
Thank you again for making our day truly amazing. If you want to have an unforgettable night, this is who you should book!!

Renee and Mario
Rey was a crucial part of our wedding day and I can't recommend him enough! My brother in law and sister in law married in Miami last year and had Rey as their DJ. At their wedding...
, the dance floor was always full! When it came time for me to start planning my wedding, we instantly went to Rey. From the start, Rey was helpful and informative. On our wedding day, his set up was perfect and our entire ceremony and reception went perfectly. He was even able to get a rather tricky first dance song for us and about halfway through dinner my fiancé decided it was time to party and from that point on, the dance floor was for- SERIOUSLY LIKE 3-4 HOURS OF STRAIGHT DANCING AND FUN! Multiple family members came up after the wedding to us to tell us how great the DJ was. Rey is essentially family and we plan to use him for every single event moving forward!
Rey at SCJ Events was the best decision we made! As soon as we met him we knew our wedding party was going to be unforgettable, and it was! From the ceremony, to the reception and...
until the end, he played the best music selection we have previously discussed, and as soon as the dance floor was open, no one, not even us sat down again, ever... and we wanted more! He did an amazing job and I loved every second of it.
The Music was perfect. You remembered every detail and request. The party didn't stop!! Your whole entertainment group made sure everyone was dancing and having a good time!! Thank...

We heard nothing but the very best from our guests about him and he made our day perfect. We will forever have great memories in our hearts!
Thank you so much Rey! You nailed it :)
I absolutely love DJ Rey! He did a phenomenal job with our wedding! We met with him a few weeks before the wedding and he sat with me patiently and we walked through the music for ...
each part of the wedding, I gave him suggestions for each style and he knew exactly what I wanted. On the day of the wedding, the set up was perfect, he helped with the lights, and even created a custom monogram for my husband and I.
The music was absolutely amazing! Guests were commenting that even the music he played during dinner was so good, that they left their meals, to sing and dance on the floor!! He kept the party going all night, I would definitely recommend him for any weddings or parties and would use him again!
Thank you, DJ Hurricane Rey!
