My husband and I were fortunate enough to have Ashley and one of her assistant photographers for our wedding day and all I can say is WOW. We are absolutely blown away by our photos. They were able to capture every little moment for us. My mom even made a comment that she knew I chose the right photographer because every time she looked over at Ashley she was taking photos left and right, trying to capture every detail. Not to mention we received ~60 sneak photos within a week and all photos in less than 4 weeks (granted our wedding was November, outside of peak season). It was also a bonus that Ashley made us feel so comfortable while taking photos and worked fabulously with our videographer so it made the day a breeze! I cannot recommend Scobey Photography enough...seriously!!!

Ashley and Graham were great - clear and transparent and straightforward with us through the whole process, kind and supportive as we had to reschedule because of COVID19 (didn't even charge any sort of fee or increase their ask! Plus, their online payment system is fantastic too and broke the contract into super manageable chunks. They were prompt with their communication even during a hectic wedding season and Ashley totally understood when I had a moment of panic due to the shot list questionnaire not quite fitting the vibe. Graham was our primary shooter on our wedding day and we had a secondary named Kelsey. While my spouse and I have both been in professionally in front of cameras before, we were apprehensive about these photos since they were for such a significant day. We needn't have worried. The Scobeys captured all the shots - both those we knew we wanted and those we were not aware we might desire and we received an incredible gallery with over 500 photos just 3 weeks later. Our location was remote and hard to get to, rough dirt road with lots of twists and turns, and they made it work! So so grateful and highly recommend working with Graham and Ashley. Thanks again! We LOVED working with the Scobeys. From our first meeting through the wedding day, they were kind, honest, and professional. Their pricing was upfront and we never felt pressured to purchase a more expensive package. They asked us lots of questions to get to know us and what our priorities were for our wedding day. They also helped us figure out the timeline for our wedding day. On our wedding day, Ashley was amazing to work with. She led our rambunctious family through some massive family portraits in a quick and efficient, yet natural and fun way. My husband and I were a little nervous about all the pictures/video that were going to be taken at the wedding. We didn't want to spend too much time doing that, as we thought it wasn't going to be the best way to spend our (very little) time during the wedding. Ashley totally changed our minds - she made it so that our time taking pictures just felt like quality, 1:1 time with each other. WeI felt some of our most relaxed and connected moments while we were outside taking pictures with Ashley. We got all of our photos back very quickly - within a couple weeks - and they are BEAUTIFUL. We love the Scobeys and will absolutely use them in the future for family shoots.

I cannot express how much we loved working with Ashley & Graham. My partner and I were a little nervous about being the center of attention, but we knew as soon as we met these two, they would put us at ease during the big day. From the moment we did our first Zoom call to the last wrap-up emails, everything they did made us comfortable. Their approach was focused on creating moments for the two of us to be us -- happy, laughing, enjoying the moment -- and then capturing that for the camera. They are genuine, warm & friendly -- and focused telling the magic of our story in an authentic way that helps us remember how special each and every moment of this day was every time we look back at the photos. We appreciated how they balanced the natural moments of the day, the natural beauty of our venue, while still finding ways to create extra special moments and photos that we'll remember for the rest of time. Ashley and Graham were phenomenal from beginning to end. They patiently worked with our very complicated photo shoot and us being long distance, and they were incredibly supportive and helpful through my husband's photo nerves. I absolutely adore and recommend The Scobeys. Ashley was a dream to work with. We felt like she took the time and effort to really get to know us, and it translated in her work. Our photos capture our personalities, our relationship, and the dynamism of our wedding day and journey. I was initially really nervous about wedding photography, imagining it would be super cheesy, posed, and saccharine -- Ashley’s work is none of this. The process was fun, spontaneous, bursting with life and authenticity - while also conveying the gravity of the occasion.

Ashley and Graham are a joy to work with! We had such a great time with them on our wedding day. They made us feel comfortable and relaxed, which was so appreciated on such a busy and exciting day. We love all of our photos - they caught great moments from our wedding day that we will cherish forever. One note: If you're considering whether to do an adventure shoot before your wedding or not - I recommend you do! We didn't do one (we are not particularly fond of being photographed and I assumed I'd feel awkward or weird, so I wanted to limit photo time). At our wedding, though, I realized that Ashley and Graham made it fun and natural. So, I would recommend doing an adventure shoot. If nothing else, you'd get to spend more time with them which is a plus!

We absolutely LOVED our decision to have Ashley and Scobey Photography document our wedding this past June at Timber Ridge Lodge in Keystone Colorado. My wife were absolutely thrilled with how fun and easy they made our wedding picture process (I hate posing for pictures). And wow, everyone is raving about how incredible our wedding photo's turned out! She captured our special day beyond our wildest dreams and even when we endured a 2 hour weather delay for our ceremony, Ashley went above and beyond our agreement and stayed extra late to capture the whole evening (venue extended our allotted time atop mountain due to weather delay). Couldn't recommend these guys enought, amazing work and so easy to work with!

I cannot emphasize enough how absolutely amazing the Scobey's are. We did our engagement shoot with Ashley and from that day I knew we had made the perfect decision. We were incredibly pleased with Scobey photography. From the first time we spoke on the phone I could tell that Graham and Ashley would capture the spirit of our wedding in their photos. They do a wonderful job of telling the story of the entire day photographing the day as a journey - from getting ready through the last dance. Their photos captured everything from small details to the most precious moments so we can relive the day through their photos. Graham and his assistant were extremely warm and a pleasure to work with. They managed to be in the middle of everything that went on without ever being invasive. We would highly recommend them.

The Scobeys were easily one of the best parts of the wedding process for us. We opted to have both Scobeys do our engagement and wedding photos. I (like many people) am not super confident in posing for photos, but they made us laugh and we were so comfortable throughout everything. It is seriously a great thing when your photographer is the one helping you shake the nerves off before you walk down the aisle! They managed to capture all the great parts of the wedding without ever being in the way - our guests were commenting how great they were at blending in! We got the photobooth as well and it is easily the nicest quality photos and printouts I've seen at a wedding. They turned around our photos so quickly for us and they turned out so beautiful. My husband and I can't say enough great things about them! Hire these people!!

When researching wedding photographers we knew that this would be the most important aspect of our big day and were quite stressed. We had narrowed it down to four photographers but had met with the Scobeys first. They were the front runners in our search as we adored how they captured couples before us on their day. How natural everything seemed, not forced, or obviously staged. I think from the moment we met them we knew that we need not look any further. In our initial meeting they were just as excited about our wedding as we were and we knew it wasn't just because they wanted our business. Their attention to detail and making our day stand apart from every other wedding was exactly what we wanted. I've been to dozens of weddings over the years and the one thing I've noticed about them all is that no matter how different the day all of the photos looked the same. I am so thrilled that this is not the case for us. Beyond the photos and extraordinary customer service you really are able to build a wonderful friendship with the Scobeys. They are as thoughtful as your best friends and you will appreciate them far past your wedding day. Working w/ Ashley Scobey was such a breeze! She's extremely funny & makes you feel really comfortable on your special day. She also went above & beyond, helping me with other small things the day of. We hired Graham and an assistant for our outdoor October wedding in the North Georgia mountains. Being the guy in the relationship, I went into it with the notion that one photographer is pretty much as good as another -- you just take some pictures and that's that, right? Fortunately, my fiancee convinced me to look at what some photographers are capable of doing, and for me, the Scobeys were one of the very few who took things to a level I didn't know was out there. We were thrilled that they were available with only a few months' notice, and things turned out just as we hoped. Graham truly has a gift with lighting, and we got several miraculous shots of the sort I'd never seen before. I've been taking photography lessons for the last couple of months, and I'm fond of taking in pictures from our wedding to ask the instructor how it was possible to get the effects he did. Of course, it's not all whiz-bang -- there are beautiful perspective shots, candid moments, and everything else that makes the day memorable. In terms of logistics, the Scobeys were truly a pleasure to work with -- very communicative, timely, and unobtrusive. My fiancee was concerned about the photographers making people feel awkward on the dance floor, having had that happen at a recent wedding she attended. The Scobeys understood completely, and they were somehow everywhere we wanted them to be, but only when we looked for them. Basically, they're a terrific choice, and highly recommended.

We actually planned our wedding around their availability because they were my #1 non-negotiable for my wedding day. I was impressed by Graham and Ashley Scobey from the first conversation we had to last unexpected and generous gift they sent us after our wedding for the holidays. Their business is not just business to them, it's personal. They add a personal touch to everything they do for you before, during and after your wedding. They were attentive and engaging at our engagement shoot and on our wedding day, and always had a smile on their faces which was contagious. Although they are on the higher price end as we chose the unlimited time package, my family and I would highly recommend this couple for wedding photography to anyone we meet.

Ashley & Graham are exceptional. They are two of the most genuine people I have ever met and skilled beyond belief. From the first time we met Ashley and Graham we left our meeting feeling like... maybe they want new friends?!? haha. We loved them. Oh the Scobeys... What good things to say that haven't already been said? Their work speaks for itself- we were thrilled with the photographs, and the turnaround time was excellent. But the icing on the cake is that they are an absolute pleasure to work with. They were our one vendor who we never-- and I mean never -- had to worry about. The Scobeys and their administrative team were on the ball throughout the entire process, which is such a RELIEF when you are juggling a hundred other items on the wedding to-do list. They contacted us about scheduling appointments, they contacted us with a questionnaire about wedding day logistics, and they were always easy to get in touch with on the occasions when we contacted them for something. No chasing them down, no wondering where they disappeared to after the contract had been signed, no wondering if they would deliver on their promises. I can't begin to explain how much I appreciated their professionalism during a time when working with some other vendors felt like herding cats. The Scobeys love what they do, and it shows through their work and through their interaction with their clients. They are a delight to work with, and we recommend them unconditionally.

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful Graham and Ashley are, both as photographers and as people! From the first second of our initial meeting with them, we felt at home. My husband and I were super nervous about being in front of a camera and they have an art for making you feel comfortable. There really aren't enough great things to say about the Scobey's, and we were lucky enough to use them for our Wedding Photographers. Not only are they true artists, Graham and Ashley make you feel good about yourself throughout the process. After seeing my cousin's gorgeous engagement photos, I decided to hire Lacey to shoot my engagement photos. Lacey was sweet, professional, and easy to work with--oh and her photographs were amazing! We also had her shoot our rehearsal dinner, wedding, and my bridesmaid luncheon--now I'm just waiting to see everything. I highly recommend Lacey and Scobey Photography! :)

My husband and I had the pleasure of hiring the Scobeys for both our Engagement photos and our wedding. Both events included some nice, inconvenient rain. This could have put a huge damper on our events and our moods, but the Scobeys helped us to see the beauty that we could capture with the rain and they kept moving forward, ponchos and all. We ended up getting some fantastic pictures at both events and were incredibly happy with the products. Graham and Ashley were so easy to work with, so nice, so fun, and so professional. The photos they provided were even better than we anticipated and we really couldn't be happier. I would HIGHLY recommend them for shooting your wedding. When we look back on our wedding day in 10 years, we'll have some great photos to look at!

For those who like short and sweet reviews: 1. If there were more than 5 stars, they would deserve 10. 2. Their work is a mix of editorial, candid, and well-positioned "necessary" wedding photos. 3. Their professionalism and positive energy make it an absolute joy to have them around on the big day. The extended review: Ashley and Graham are a incredibly creative power couple that are too cute for words. Given the choice, hire both of them. You get two different perspectives and results of a single moment. They love "love." In fact, if you do not decide to hire them for your engagement shoot (which you should), they insist on meeting you out so that they can get to know you and your fiance. They use this knowledge, and it is absolutely evident, to create a "story" with their images on your wedding day. This is why I say you don't necessarily need a videographer. From a budget perspective, ditch the video and invest in hiring these photographers. The photographs were nothing short of stunning. Some of the images they took at our reception have been compared to Vermeer paintings. They range from beautiful black and whites with incredible manipulation of focus, perfect lighting, and on-point contrast. There's too much to say about the color photographs. Above all, the compositions truly show that Ashley and Graham have taken the time to learn, live, breath photography. They know what they're doing. Period. I won't get into their equipment - it's a little over my head, but let me tell you a little about our situation. We had our reception in an incredibly dark, red-lit room (Maison Rouge in Atlanta, GA). The place is run by a very particular owner who refuses to let strobe flash in the room. Ashley and Graham set up modified flash thingies that NO ONE noticed. Not a red-tinted guest to be seen. They met a challenge and succeeded like few photographers can. I could go on (clearly), but if photography is important to you and your wedding experience, you must use them. You will not regret it. Did I mention that as a "thank you" they sent us a framed 8x10. Yeah, they're awesome.

Husband and wife power team, Scobey Photography, captured my wedding with such beauty that I was left speechless. I recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for a photographer to capture their wedding! Though they were present throughout the whole wedding, I did not even realize they were there – until I saw the pictures! They captured key moments, working both indoors and outdoors with varying weather elements. There was not one picture that I didn’t love. Ashley and Graham were such a delight to work with!

i cannot say enough about the scobeys as people and photographers. they were a pleasure to be around the day of my wedding and were nothing but professional and genuinely excited for us throughout this process. after the wedding i wondered where they were during the ceremony and various parts of the day. don't worry they were always there, just did an excellent job of not being noticed yet not missing a single moment (exactly what you want in your wedding day photogs). i greatly appreciated their highly organized and efficient work. they really have their system down pat and make it so easy for everyone involved. having an amazing photographer was my #1 priority for our wedding and the scobeys do not disappoint. the quick turn around from the wedding day to having beautiful images in hand is unheard of for photographers as in demand as they are. we cannot thank them enough for sharing their talent with us. i could not recommend a vendor more highly.

Scobey Photography has an incredible talent with photography. They have an amazing ability to cater to WHATEVER style you want! They can do traditional shots as well as the most creative and breath taking photographs I have ever seen. The best part about working with them is they make you feel so beautiful and special on your day. I found Scobey Photography when I was looking for a photographer to capture every moment of our beautiful wedding. As much as I would have LOVED to work with Graham and Ashley they were not available for my wedding date and suggested Lacey. She was so much fun to work with. Everything from our engagement session to our wedding was very fun a laid back. She truly captured us as a couple and I will forever LOVE all of our pictures. All the photos were excellent quality and it is amazing to have so many styles of pictures. From the moment I first got in contact with Graham and Ashley to our post-wedding communications, they have been extremely warm and professional. Graham and Ashley are so kind and easy to talk to, they make you feel welcome and comfortable in their presence. They do a great job of walking you through the photography process so you feel comfortable and know what to expect on the big day. They are also extremely professional and are always available to their clients. They returned phone calls and e-mails promptly and they answered questions and alleviated any concerns I had about the process. The thing I loved most about Graham and Ashley is that they really listened to me and my husband regarding what kind of pictures we wanted for our big day. Although they were always willing to offer advice and their professional opinion, they really listened to us and delivered pictures we loved. Every wedding is different and your pictures should reflect who you are as a couple - ours definitely did so thanks to Graham and Ashley. I cannot recommend these two enough, we have received countless compliments on our pictures!

After a lot of research, we booked Ashley and Graham without even meeting any other photographers - a clear decision the moment we met them. They are creative, fun and clearly passionate about what they do. From a business perspective they are responsive, efficient and deliver gorgeous candid pictures that aren't overly processed . They were right on time, engaged but unobtrusive and somehow managed to capture all the little details and perfect memories of our day. My husband wrote me a very personal note on our wedding day that I read alone in a room with just Ashley and our videographer. She not only captured the sensitivity of the moment but literally held my hand after. We were referred to Lacey after a few of the photographers we contacted were either too expensive or not available. Lacey not only was super sweet and fun to work with, but she wasn't over priced. We also liked that we knew that SHE was the one photographing our special day. Many bigger photography companies may use a photographer's name, but that isn't who you get. Lacey was there from the time I was getting ready to the second we left the reception. She also took our engagement pictures in Piedmont Park and at our house that were beautiful. The pictures are gorgeous and put me back in the moment each time I look at them. They aren't posed or artificial at all. DEFINITELY USE LACEY!!!

I had admired the work of Graham and Ashley Scobey for a few years before getting married was even a thought in my mind. I was instantly impressed and always wished to have them photograph my wedding someday. As so as we finalized our wedding date, we booked the Scobeys.We first "met" the Graham and Ashley on Skype since we live in Boston and they are in Atlanta. Talking with them about our plans we knew right then we made the right decision. They are so down to earth, genuine, and interested in you as a couple, your wedding visions, and how you want to capture your love story. They guided us through the process and answered all our questions with such excitement and detail.On the wedding day, it was like having two additional great friends helping you through the day! They captured every precious moment and then whole lot more. Sometimes people feel its awkward to be followed by photographers for an entire day, but with them it was so natural and relaxing. We received our pictures quickly and they were absolutely beautiful! We used Graham & Ashley from Scobey Photography for our September 2012 wedding. And believe me, if I could I would rate them 10 stars out of 5! They were amazing in every way. Beginning from our first meeting they were generally invested in getting to know us as a couple and sharing in our special day. We got the all-day coverage, photobooth, and a photo album. On the day of, both Graham & Ashley were there shooting, but they also brought an assistant to operate the photobooth- which was such a huge hit for our guests, I would highly recommend having one! They had all of our images ready for us within two weeks of our wedding date, which was so awesome! And all of the images are breathtaking and truly capture the love that we celebrated at our wedding with family and friends. Huge thanks to Graham & Ashley Scobey!! I would recommend them as vendors to anyone!

Without a doubt, making the decision to work with Graham and Ashley Scobey as our photographers was the best decision that we made througout the planning process. This is what they were born to do...make your wedding last forever and look amazing with the memories you'll take away if you hire them as your photographers. Not only are the best people, they have a great eye for what works. They're super fun and probably the coolest people you'll ever meet. Professional and are the definition of quality work. I don't like taking pictures, but they made me feel so comfortable and our entire bridal party agrees that they were so much fun to work with. I cannot say enough about them. Lacey shot our engagement photos and our wedding and did the most amazing job. I cannot say enough about her and her photos. She is so much fun to work with and truly put both my husband and I at ease when we were taking both engagement and wedding photos. We got married on the hottest day of the summer (110 degrees) and none of our photos show the heat...we both look cool and comfortable. I can't wait to have another event in my life so Lacey can capture it!!!
