All the staff members at Scotland Run were super sweet, helpful, and responded to emails or phone calls promptly. Our guests loved the cocktail hour and told us the food was delicious. Our Maitre d (I believe her name was Jessica) made sure we were okay and happy the entire night, and even the chef was looking out for us and making sure everything was perfect. All of my decor was set up exactly right, and the planning process was so easy. All the staff at Scotland Run are super accommodating and want to ensure that your day is exactly how you imagined it. I'm so happy we made the decision to book Scotland Run. Many of our guests have told us it was the best wedding they have ever been to! We will be visiting the Highlander Pub to reminisce on our amazing day. :)

Aisyln, our maitre d, made sure we stayed right on time and took care of the entire bridal party. The outdoor pavilion was beautiful and weather permitting which was great due to the windy weather. The food is absolutely amazing, with a great selection of desserts to end the night. Overall a wonderful place to have your wedding, we are so glad we chose Scotland Run! Highly recommend!

I am so happy I chose to get married at Scotland run. Everything turned out how I wanted. I couldn’t have been happier. Working with Marlo went smooth. She made it easy for me. I booked my date 2 years in advance so we had many communications over the years. She helped to make sure everything was done/paid on time. Marlo was very accommodating to us and made time whenever we wanted to come in for an appointment to talk. We were even able to customize our package so it crossed off all the boxes we wanted. My wedding was fully customized to fit me and my husbands wants. She even checked on me during my wedding to see how I was doing. I would recommend to anyone who is thinking about getting married at Scotland run to DO IT! You won’t be disappointed.

r that is due to being overworked or incompetence. It is especially frustrating given that, originally, their coordinators are one major reason we picked the place. They seemed to be on top of everything from initial discussions but when it came to the actual , most of the staff were not on the same page. We requested food and drinks for bridal party and groomsman to be there upon arrival and even asked multiple times beforehand to make sure it would be there and it wasn't nor were there any staff coming by to the rooms to help. We had to go find staff to set up the simulator room, bring us food and drink, etc. Once the food came they brought a single order of chicken fingers for an entire groomsman party. It may not be a big deal but it summarizes how much they had no idea what was going on. A similar situation happened with the bridesmaids. In addition to that, they didn't come and grab us groomsman until the very last second before we had to walk down the aisle. It was very rushed and they almost made the bride forget the bouquet. Most importantly, they charged us $1000+ for an extra hour at the end of the night only for the staff to start cleaning up an hour early so a lot of the wedding left because they thought the time was up. If we pay money for the reception to be until 1130, the cleaning crew shouldn't be turning the lights on and cleaning at 1030. I brought all this up multiple times and have yet to be in contact with anyone with actual authority to fix the issue over at Scotland Run. There were a couple of minor issues you might not care about listed here but it just goes to show how they handle events. No one wants to have to deal with issues on their wedding day and no one wants to have to repeatedly reach out to try and get money back for services they didn't render. If you want to risk it go ahead, the pros are that the food is excellent and the view is great but if I had to do it again I would pick somewhere else just on principle.

ent pretty early in the planning process so we were able to get the date we wanted. We were able to do a food tasting AFTER booking and before locking in our choices. The venue was recently renovated, and it has such a light and bright feel now. It was beautiful before, but it is STUNNING now. The staff was so kind. Our matrie'd was fabulous and so on top of everything. We did hire an outside coordinator, but the staff at Scotland Run was very helpful with set up and take down. I loved that ceremony and reception are all on site. We were able to take pictures on the golf course and had access to the golf carts for some fun pictures. My only complaint is that we did not have access to the bridal suite. At the time of booking, we were told we could use the bridal suite all day. It was contracted for 3 hours, but the event coordinator told us we could be in there as early as we wanted. Less than a six months out, we found out (from a friend) that we weren't allowed in the bridal suite before those three hours as there was an incident with a prior wedding. It was disappointing because that was a huge selling point for us, but we now had to pivot and find a new place to get hair and make up done before heading to the venue. I wish we would've been told sooner, like as soon as this incident happened they should've reached out to all future brides that had already booked with the intention of using that room. The golfers on the property were quite rude as well when the groom and groomsmen were trying to get ready in the locker room. I know this is not the fault of the venue, which is why I don't hold it against them, but I want future brides and grooms to know that it isn't completely private when getting ready. There is a 150 person minimum.

by our wedding in May 2024, the inside lobby and ballroom had both been newly renovated as well. I have nothing but positive things to say about Scotland Run and our coordinator, Leah. She was always patient and kind answering all our questions and accommodating us in all different ways. She was a joy to work with from beginning to end! Scotland Run offers all-inclusive packages, which included an extra hour and décor set-up! There are so many options to customize your wedding day and at Scotland Run they go above and beyond for their couples! Chef went all out for our wedding day and people are still complimenting his food. Lizzie, our day of maître de was amazing. She was so kind and attended to me and husband constantly. You don’t feel like a “wedding factory” customer at Scotland Run, but more like a prioritized guest of honor. They take care of everything for you and put a lot of care into their couple’s wedding days. vent staff when we had questions. We also weren’t given much detail regarding our floor plan/seating chart. We never received a document for completing the floor plan and listing the food and had to reach out to staff to ask for this. We wanted to customize the floor plan, which we were told we could do, we tried to confirm this floor plan with staff multiple times and then on our wedding day we were told changes needed to be made to it. The entire seating chart had already been made according to what we had planned, so this was very stressful having to change within hours of the wedding. I also created a detailed packet for staff to follow for setting out decor (which I was told to do to help staff) and it was clear no one reviewed this. My family and myself ended up having to do most of this ourselves because no one was referring to my directions. Staff were extremely nice, I just wish there would have been more communication so that the day of wouldn’t have been as stressful.

Any questions we had, such as special requests for ceremony logistics, after party, special alcohol requests, etc. were all laid out and answered before our day. Contact was a little delayed in the beginning stages (a year out from our wedding) but didn’t make any dents to our planning process. Their payment plan is amazing, paying smaller fractions of our balance every other month until our day instead of big sums helped us finance our day so much easier. We were so on schedule with money when it came to a month out that we were surprised we had pretty much paid everything off. I would say a reminder email (whether automatic or personal) for the payments would have been the only thing that would’ve made it perfect. We did a group tasting and it was incredible with how much food we were able to try!!! They were also accommodating to our request to try an upgraded dish that just me and my now-husband were getting for dinner. Forewarning: GO HUNGRY! The men had a blast in the SIM room and it was such a great option for the boys to have something to do on that day! The girls arrived at the bridal suite at 2pm which gave us ample time for getting dressed and pictures. They provided us with a huge fruit tray and a bottle of champagne to our surprise which was amazing! Now for the big one… THE FOOD. OH MY GOD. If anything were raved about most, it was the food!!!!!! From cocktail hour, to dinner, to the dessert plethora, to the to-go breakfast sandwiches at the end of the night, everything was EXCEPTIONAL!!!! CHEF LAZ is INCREDIBLE and put his heart and soul into every dish he cooked and created that night. We did not attend our cocktail hour but they brought us little bites and we had an entire tray of cocktail hour food when we sat down into the reception. A month and a half later, people are STILL talking about how great the food was. Our maitred was great, even though we requested D-Nice and had someone else assigned to us, she was attentive and got us whatever we needed. I think she took a step back since my DOC was doing everything, but she still stayed close by in case we needed her. The biggest reason why this venue was so appealing to us was not only the landscaping, but the COVERED outdoor ceremony area! Rain or shine, it did not matter and one of the biggest stressors in wedding planning was not even a worry! All in all, our entire experience with Scotland Run was phenomenal and I could not picture our day anywhere else! They helped make it magical and exceeded my expectations through and through. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did for us and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend having a wedding here!!! Every single guest have said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to!!

Needless to say, all my guests LOVED the food. The food was superb quality and DELICIOUS. Some guests wished they could have more but they were so full. Our Maitre D’, Aislyn, was so helpful on the day of. She set up all the decors the way we wanted it, and honestly it exceeded our expectations. Small detail but we even got the nice bench for our sweat heart table to match with our ivory linen choice. Aislyn brought us food during cocktail hours, kept everything run smoothly from beginning of cocktail hour to the end of the reception, and helped us put our stuff together at the end of the night. The entire staff was very professional. My guests had a great night and it could not have been possible without the help from the staff at SRGC. Thank you so much for making our day even more complete. If you are considering getting married at SRGC, don’t hesitate because you will not regret it!

Day of, weather called for rain (that never came) but just incase they had brought down the walls of the space so guest wouldn't get rained on! Food was incredible. Guest still raving about the prime rib, and desserts. Chef was out during the dessert time and really was just so kind and you could tell he really enjoyed seeing everyone enjoy his food. Marlo was amazing throughout the planning process. Always available for questions, and reassured us that all request and needs will be taken care of. Her and her team took so much stress away for us. They provide you a list for the decor and they did such a great job setting everything up, I was blown away. It really brought a dream to life. Jess, the matre' d was the BEST! She always made sure me and my husband had a drink in our hands. She was so helpful to the entire wedding party, she really made such an impact on the entire day. She made sure we were all moving along to keep up with schedule, which I truly appreciated.

She made the planning process so much less stressful than I expected it was going to be. Going into the actual day of the wedding - Jessica and D-Nice as well as the other catering staff couldn't have been any better. The chef personally walked around to make sure everyone was happy with the food he prepared. Every single person in the staff were beyond attentive and so nice. They made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night even bringing me water to the dance floor. I don't think there was anything more they could have done. I could not have asked for a better group of staff at this wedding. We are SOO happy with our decision to have our wedding at Scotland Run!

The ceremony space is beautiful and like no other around south jersey -- there is so much greenery and flowers in the path leading to the ceremony space. There are fans to keep the guests cool in the heat and temporary walls that come down in case of bad weather. Luckily we didn't have to use them. The cocktail our space is the perfect mix of indoor and outdoor space -- the balcony looks over the golf course and provides a beautiful view. The food was phenomenal!! There was many options to customize the cocktail hour to exactly what you wanted. There was so. MUCH. food. It was all delicious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Marlo was awesome and helped us out from day 1 through the wedding day. She answered every question I had and always with a smile. We felt the price was very fair and almost a steal for how amazing we thought this venue was. 10/10 would recommend.

They don't have any hidden prices like I've seen with other venues and were cheaper than other venues we toured that were nowhere near as nice. They were super helpful and catered to us in every way.
