My sister used Scott for her wedding day. When I saw her wedding film, I knew instantly that my (now) husband and I had to book him for our wedding day 1.5 years later! We are SO glad we did. Scott is so awesome to work with. The process from initial booking to wedding day was SEAMLESS! His documentary style and approach captures every emotion and the day beautifully. Everyone was comfortable and able to be themselves. We have gotten so many compliments on our wedding film. People have said it's the best wedding video they have ever seen!! We are absolutely thrilled with how our film turned out and are so happy we have it to look back on for years to come. Hire the videographer and hire Scott!!!! You will not regret it. When we did our budget breakdown, my fiancé really wanted to prioritize videography and I did not. I can admit, that my fiancé was right! We ended up hiring Scott and he was worth EVERY penny! We hired Scott for both the night before (rehearsal / welcome) and wedding day which was the best wedding choice we ended up making. The rehearsal/ welcome was really the only time we were able to spend quality time with most of our guests and we are so happy he was there to capture it. He did an amazing job highlighting all of the important moments - anyone who's watched our video has been blown away at his editing. And for us - we are still shocked at how comfortable and natural we look on video since we aren't in front of a camera often. He does a great job giving you guidance for a certain shot or says "if I'm not saying anything, you're doing it right" - which made us feel so good about just being ourselves and able to be fully present.

One of the best decisions we made for our wedding day was hiring Scott! He creates stunning films that showcase the emotions of each part of the wedding day so well. Not only does he create magic with his films, but he was a delight to work with on the day of. His 'fly on the wall' approach to filming allowed us to just 'be us' on our day while he was still capturing all of the big and small moments that were so special to us. I was lucky enough to come across Scott's profile while I was looking for a documentary style videographer for my wedding. My previous videographer had dropped out suddenly 30 days before my wedding. I found Scott that same day, was able to set up a phone call with him and booked him that day. He answered all of my questions and was incredibly nice. We went over pricing and what was included in each package. He was very clear and transparent which helped me find what would work best for my wedding. During the planning process, Scott was very quick to respond to my emails and was amazing to work with on the day. Not only that, he used our wedding vow readings as the voice-over for our wedding film making it 100x more meaningful to us. It was a wonderful way to personalize OUR wedding film. Not only that, we unfortunately had a mishap with our photograph in which she lost many of our ceremony photos. We were looking for a videographer to tell the full story of our day. We're both pretty minimal in style and wanted our wedding video to reflect that and feel very natural. After searching for what felt like forever for the right videographer, we finally stumbled across Scott’s work and immediately felt like we'd found who we were looking for to capture our wedding. Scott was very communicative and super easy to talk to. He really understood our vision for our wedding video. Neither one of us particularly enjoy being on camera but we felt so calm and comfortable the entire day. Our favorite part of the experience was getting to shoot one on one with him and, goodness, the shots of just the two of us are magical. I cannot say enough positive things about Scott. From our initial call with him to our wedding day, he was nothing but a pleasure to work with. We had a lot of questions on our initial call to determine if Scott was our guy. We knew we loved his work, but we also wanted to ensure we jived well with our vendors. Not only was he personable and professional, but he was very patient with us, and listened intently to our vision. There wasn’t a doubt in our minds about him and his ability to capture the important moments from the day after that call. On the day of our wedding Scott arrived right on time, maybe even a little early, and immediately got to work. We had a few hiccups, by no fault of his own. We had a tight timeline prior to ceremony start, and he handled it with such composure. The turnaround time for our video was very fast. We had no notes/edits for him. There were some things I was afraid he missed, but not a single detail was left out. We still notice new things when we watch the video almost 4 months later. His ability to multitask is unmatched. It felt like he was by our side the entire time we were taking our bride and groom photos, but clearly he got away for a second to capture other details. My husband loved the drone footage! It was a very rainy December day when we got married which worried my husband because Scott did warn us that it would depend on weather conditions. But, Scott made my husband’s wish come true, and he got the drone footage he hoped for. We did not do a first look, but Scott did some VO work with us while we got ready to incorporate into the video. He even captured our private dance (from a distance) and I am so thankful for that footage. It might be my favorite part of the video. It is something we will cherish forever and we couldn’t have asked for better. We would recommend Scott to anyone seeking a videographer for their special day. He did not disappoint. If there is one thing you could do for your wedding, it is to book Scott Belanger Films, as your videographer! He is seriously the most talented, incredible videographer in the business. I could go on and on about how amazing he and his assistant were filming my wedding at the Tate House on 3.4.23. He is extremely professional, extremely knowledgeable, and just an overall great person. The day of, him and his assistant, were prompt and on time, they were great with guiding me and others throughout the day, they were everywhere and anywhere capturing the day, they were fun and creative, captured all my previously briefed asks, he worked amazingly with my photographer team I also had, and everyone was talking about how much they enjoyed the team. Now, how could they get any better? Well let me tell you - then the wedding video came out. Oh. my. gosh. It was a cinematic masterpiece. The way he pieced together the day, the music that is played, the sound, the recordings, the angles, the lighting, the positioning - everything was perfect. The way he positioned our vows throughout the video was my favorite. It put the whole entire day together and really showed who me and my husband are as a couple. Even with how perfect the video is, he even asked for feedback before making it final. That was amazing too. He provided social cuts for me to have a reels/tiktoks in vertical format, which was HUGE for me! The 2 hour documentary was amazing to help me relive my day over and over, and I loved how it felt like we were on reality tv in that hah! But, it was extremely special because I got to rewatch my day to soak in all the out of body details like my ceremony and hear everything that was said. He was super quick getting everything to me as well. I was the first wedding of the season (sn for brides: March weddings are amazing because your vendors are excited to start the year) so he had it to me within like a week because I was the first wedding of the year and nothing else was in the queue. Like what?! He should get 1000000 stars just for that. Overall, you HAVE to hire Scott. You can sleep easy knowing you have the best videographer of all time for your event! I love always knowing I have this perfect video captured of my favorite day!
