Scott Cummings Music

I contacted Scott Cummings Music to find a solo guitarist for our event. He brought us Capital, who is an incredibly talented musician. It made the event extra special. Scott Cummings is extremely professional and responsive - and just a really nice guy on top of it. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again for a future event.

Scott was amazing to work with! His musicians were not only professional but sounded perfect. Everything went off without a hitch and when I got to walk down the aisle to our song that they learned specially for us, my heart melted. Would highly recommend working with Scott and his team, they helped make our special day magical!

The Tin Pan Trio (a jazz band) played at our wedding reception, and we couldn't be happier! The guests were very complimentary and the band set a wonderful vibe that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. At one point, my husband and I performed a song, and Scott's crew allowed us to use their equipment and even got everything set up for us. We're so thankful that they were a part of our special day!

We were beyond lucky to have Dirty Sugar play at our wedding and words can't describe how wonderful they were! Not only was the talent amazing, but they helped create an atmosphere at our party that had all the guests out of their seats and on the dance floor! thry music was amazing and they were so engaging! It was a night I'll never forgot! If You are thinking about a band for your wedding, I highly recommend these guys, and go for the full lineup, nothing beats a horn section!!

I've worked with a lot of vendors, and Scott is definitely one of the great ones. He is always early to my events and personally comes to each one. He does a great job setting up and troubleshooting any issues. Scott's equipment is sleek and discrete, and his musicians are professional and very well received! I've hired an electric violinist through Scott a few times, and at each party, at least 1/4 of the guests came up to me to compliment her and asked for Scott's card. The electric violinist was so flexible and able to accommodate song requests!!! Scott and his musicians are delightful to work with and I would definitely use them any time I need entertainment.

We booked a jazz trio (bass, piano, drum) with Scott Cummings and they were wonderful. They really made our cocktail hour perfect!

I cant say enough amazing things about Scott Cummings and his awesome team! I hired the electric violinist for my pre ceremony, ceremony & cocktail hour and I have never been so impressed! The musician was so professional, energetic, smiled the whole time and sounded amazing! The music sheet options were endless and they even learned a couple new songs for my day- Working with Scott to make this booking happen was of the easiest parts of my wedding... 110% satisfied and would highly reccomend using them to anyone out there..The sounds of the violin were truly unlike any other and added so much to the day! Thank you guys again!!

Spirit Strings was absolutely everything we had hoped for in ceremony musicians. We hired the strings quartet to provide the music for the ceremony and cocktail hour. We knew we wanted live musicians to provide a fun and classy atmosphere. We selected Spirit Strings because of their impressive repertoire of songs- from classical wedding songs to top 40’s to classic rock to love songs. We knew they could set the tone for the wedding and keep our guests entertained. The music was perfect. We had them play lots of classic rock and popular songs as guests socialized. For the ceremony we had the processional walk down the aisle to Cannon in D and then took a non-traditional turn to Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing” for my entrance. All of our guests commented on how great their music was. If you are looking for a great string musicians, I would definitely recommend Spirit Strings.

Jeff and I had my 30th Bday party at Tantalum in Long Beach and the band that played during my party was Dirty Sugar led by Michael Cartwright. I really enjoyed watching them play and my husband suggested that we use them for our wedding! We loved them so much that we decided to have our engagement party at the same place at a time they were performing again. Everyone had such a great time that we knew we had made the right choice. They give you a great selection of songs to choose from and you get to pick three of your own that they will learn. Anything over that is an extra charge. I found them slightly challenging to get a hold of at times when it came to meeting with the singer who was essentially all the entertainment at the wedding. This made me nervous at times. I felt like I just had to trust that everything would work out but for a bride that is impossible to do! But I have to say everything did work out :) Overall they were very professional and the music was great. My guests had an amazing time and everyone loved the music! One thing that I found challenging was booking their piano player to play a song I chose to walk down the aisle to. After watching the video, I heard several mistakes in the song so that is the only thing I probably would not add if I were to book them again but as a band they were excellent and such a great addition to my special day! Michael was born to entertain a crowd and the band learned the songs perfectly and played them in the order that was discussed before hand. I would highly recommend Dirty Sugar or any artist from Scott Cummings music to make your event perfect. Nothing beats live music!

I used Scott Cummings for our wedding ceremony music and they did such a great job, couldnt more pleased with the outcome. The string quartet was on time, professionally dressed, really set the tone nicely for the ceremony and they were able to play all the songs we wanted. Highly recommend for any brides out there that are looking for quality ceremony musicians, they were great!
