My objective is not merely to document what your day looked like, but rather to capture who you are (both as individuals and as a couple) and what your relationship means to you.
My work is guided by a philosophy first put forth by Aristotle when he said: "The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance."

We first reached out to Scott because we were looking for a photographer that was no only queer accepting, but also was flexible working with us and our anxieties around photos. Neither of us would consider ourselves very photogenic and in fact hate getting our photos taken. Great photos had been taken of us before but never when we posed. From the get-go, Scott assured us he was able to make amazing photos happen through candid moments and natural choreography. This absolutely sold us!
And boy, we don't regret it! Not only did the photos beautifully capture the victorian/halloween vibes in our wedding, he captured the fun, the love, and the overall perfection of the day. It is hard being a bride, looking back because the day went by so fast, but looking at his photos gives me insight to just how much fun everyone was having. Not to mention, our couple photos, are fantastic! As soon as I get the high def ones, I am plastering them everywhere because I rarely love a photo as much as I love these.
Beyond his beautiful photo taking skills, Scott is an all around kind person. He really cares about his clients and helping make their wedding everything they dreamed of. He knows what he is doing and steps in to help make sure the day is setup to not only get the best photos, but to also get them done in a timely manner so you can focus on enjoying the wedding.
