onable and easy-going - Was willing to exchange a free engagement session for a “small ceremony before the big ceremony” shoot - I liked the pictures his assistant, Andrew, took Cons - Communication: I reached out numerous times and ways (phone, text, email) and either didn’t receive a response or was told he was with his family and couldn’t talk at that moment, which is completely understandable, but with no call back multiple times. - Numerous final photos were crooked and/or uncentered. I had to edit many pictures. - I showed him pictures of areas around the venue I wanted our pictures taken and he said, “Yes, that’s what we do each time” and yet we never took pictures at any of them. - I wish he had suggested/reminded the bridesmaids to bring their bouquets for the pre-ceremony pictures. I didn’t have the wedding experience to know to tell them to bring their bouquets; as the photographer I wish Scott had suggested it. Those pictures feel “unfinished” and plain as a result. - I paid him extra to stay until the end of the ceremony but he left an hour before it was over. Again, I hate to be the person posting a negative review for someone’s business and therefore share this very reluctantly (which is why it’s taken me so long to do so). I just feel people need to hear the good, bad, and ugly before they decide on a photographer. Scott has many great reviews, but unfortunately my experience wasn’t the same.
