ur guests had a great time, they kept the night moving great! We were having so much fun , they stayed on for a minimal fee, and we were greatful, because we were not ready to end the night.

ofessional fashion. This company is a pleasure to work with for any type of event and I highly recommend them to anyone in SouthEastern Michigan for DJ/Music needs.
Loved Scottie Alexander from the beginning. They were recommended to me by a friend. Very responsive and easy to work with. Met with Kenny for our first meeting and he was great so...
we decided to have him be our DJ for the wedding. He was awesome! People were on the dance floor all night long. I loved how personable they were and easy to communicate with. I liked that we did our final meeting a couple weeks prior to the wedding instead of the week of the wedding like many other DJ companies. Wedding week is so busy, so it was nice to feel like we had everything set with the DJ early on. Thank you again!!
Scottie DJed our wedding in Grosse Ile, MI in September 2017. He was great! He met with us ahead of time to understand our schedule, taste in music and any other needs for the even...
ing. He also practiced bridal party name pronunciation - so important!
He kept our dance floor packed all night long and played great music!! Our guests cannot say enough good things about the night and we have Scottie to thank for that!
They were so much fun! Scottie played for the cocktail hour and dinner, and Caleb finished off the party. They kept the party moving, listened to our tastes and input, and kept eve...
ryone of the dance floor for the whole night!
Kenny Privett (Co-owner of Scottie Alexander Entertainment) was recommended to us by our photographer and after speaking to him on the phone, he seemed like a good “fit” for our we...
dding ceremony and reception. We met with Kenny for an hour prior to the wedding to talk about our thoughts and ideas for the wedding - obviously, this was not Kenny’s first wedding. He knew just the right questions to ask to get us thinking about the DJ details such as music choices, how toasts were to be handled, etc.
During the ceremony, Kenny arrived early to set up his equipment, and was spot-on with the music. During the reception, he played the perfect mix of music genres to get all of our wedding guests out of their seats and dancing. We provided him with a list of songs that we wanted played, and our song wish-list included a few songs that were a little obscure - Kenny was able to locate these songs (in his giant music library, I’m assuming) and play them for us.
A few things in the wedding didn’t go as planned (as it happens at weddings), but Kenny handled them like a pro. For example, our wedding party arrived late to the reception - Kenny was able to entertain our guests while they waited.
All-in-all, Kenny was a great choice of DJ and one of the key ingredients that made our wedding awesome.
Kenny from Scottie Alexander Entertainment was phenomenal. He met with us before the wedding and smoothed out all the details. He played all the right music and the dance floor was...
packed all night! Many people at our wedding commented at what a wonderful job he did. He was very professional and made the whole reception run with ease, from announcing the wedding party, to the special dances, to various announcements throughout the night, Kenny nailed it! We are so happy we found him and would extend our highest recommendations!
Working with Kenny was amazing. He met with us a couple times prior to the wedding to get all the details. Whenever I emailed with a question he responded quickly. The day of ...
the wedding was great. Kenny and our DOC kept everything on track with the entrance, announcements, and spotlight dances. The dance floor was packed all night and everyone continues to say what a great time they had. One of my best vendors!!
Kenny was a dream to work with both leading up to and at the wedding. He totally understood our sense of humor and really listened to us when we described what music we did and did...
not like. He kept the pace of the evening, knew when to change songs that were bringing down the excitement and contributed to the energy of the evening. He'll give you the benefit of his experience for songs that don't do well and will tell you when he thinks one of your request might not play well. But, he'll also set his opinions aside if it's want you really want to do. Our guests have continued to tell us how much fun they had and how much they liked him as a DJ.
Loved working with everyone at Scottie Alexander Entertainment! Everyone complimented them and their work at our wedding. We will be using them again :)
I used Scottie Alexander for my June, 2013 wedding, and he did a fabulous job! We had him play piano and sing during cocktail hour and dinner, and then switch to DJ for the dancin...
g portion. He was easy to work with, and really understood what we were looking for for the ambiance of the evening. I had heard him playing piano and singing in the past while dining at Ocean Prime in Troy, and when I discovered that he worked weddings, I knew he was our guy! It's really great to be able to go there and sit in the bar and listen to him play, to get a sense of whether or not he would be a good fit for your wedding, otherwise you don't really know what you're hiring. Anyway, I give him 5 stars and would highly recommend him!
Scottie is awesome! Scottie played piano during dinner and sang a huge variety of songs. He has a huge song list you can choose from for his live music. He was also our DJ and was ...
great! He kept things flowing smoothly and played great music!
Scottie was a great DJ! We have received so many compliments on how he played great music and really wanted everyone to dance! He was also really easy to work with!
